NV Energy’s mobile app now offers even more tools to help make understanding energy use and saving money at your home or small business easier than ever. New features include an interactive energy usage chart with daily temperature, cost and kWh totals; billing history with access to pdf versions of past bills and greater energy efficiency information.
The app still gives NV Energy customers quick access to MyAccount to view their estimated cost to date, receive their current account summary, sign up for energy alerts, or handle payments directly through their device. The app also makes it easy to get to NV Energy’s Outage Center, which provides details on an outage location, estimated time of restoration and outage cause. Customers can also report an outage through the Outage Center.

This is the worst app ever! I tried to make a $100 payment, everything looked fine. I press submit, it say thank you for your payment of $1000! What? NOOOOOOOO! I tried calling and no one could cancel my payment. I don't have an extra $900 for NV energy. It is going to make my mortgage payment bounce if it goes through! But NV energy can't fix it. Luckily my bank was able to help me out. Don't trust this app ever!!!!!

There is something screwy with this app when trying to access it via NVe mobile app. I haven't been able to sign in for over a week until today when I went opened the app through the Google Play Store. Even then it was only marginally functional. I could navigate Usage from Dashboard but couldn't see my Current Bill. Sent from my T-Mobile 4G LTE Device

App and backend connection broke now... App worked fine till about a week ago... Even the website had issues routing to 3rd party payment site. Whoever editted the code of the app screwed up... com comes after NVEnergy.phoneapp not (com.nvenergy.phoneapp)... Major ball dropped here!!! Just tricked app to login by having error browser page load up in Edge separately... This shouldn't have had to be done. Fix this hit mess of an app!!!

I don't know why they can't get an app that works reliably. It's always been one problem, or another, for the last 2+ years. Usually stuck in a log in loop, and basically just have to give up and try again later (then it randomly works). This time, it said there was a 10mb update. I hit the button to download and install it. Now I get an infinite "loading icon". Yes, my Chrome app is up to date... I guess I'll try and delete the cache/data and re-install it. Sigh... Please hire better devs.

This app appears to be a clone of NV Energy's mobile site, except the app is missing functionality that is present in the mobile website. For example, on the mobile website, you can refresh a page using your browser's refresh button. In contrast, the app does not seem to provide any way to refresh a page, so you basically just have to force close the app, and then reopen it. I receive poor service every time that I have to contact NV Energy, so a bad app from them is not surprising to me.

Unable to access. This app needed to update. I did all the updates it required and I still cannnot access. It's a bummer. I just went to paperless too. Now I have to reverse all that and go back to the old ways. Total bummer! I got the newest version of Chrome and still nothing. Oh and I only have one account in Northern Nevada. Also, I uninstalled and reinstalled. Is anyone fixing these issues? I am not the only one with all these problems.

I set up biometrics and every month it says it expired and I have to sign in with my password. Why offer biometric sign in then?

Absolutely terrible app. I can never login to this app. Every time I try to log in, it says I need to activate a new account again, even though I've already done that. I put in my email anyway, and try to do activate, and it then says there's a system error. EVERY SINGLE TIME. The website isn't any better either. Same exact thing happens there. I have zero access to my account now.

This app is trash. Two stars .The sign in process never works, but when I go to the laptop and type in the SAME password and username, it's works. Just typing that frustrated me enough to takes away one more star. This app get the 1 star trash rating. Eff y'all app.

Obnoxious to sign in. No matter how many times you select "remember me" it doesn't. You have to enter the password every time. It also always pops up and says theres an update for the app, which will usually delay the login for about 3 minutes. Very inconvenient and usually difficult to use.

Now it tells me that my sign in session has expired every time I open it. So having fingerprint enabled is useless. Also, the 2 factor authentication is a numeric code, but selecting the field to enter the code brings up the regular keyboard instead of numeric. And the send another code button is before the submit button, which is just stupid and confusing.

The app worked great for me. After locking myself out (invalid password 3xs) I went through the unlock process and within 2 minutes I was in my account and even changed my due date with no issues. The navigation was effortless and very user friendly. I do have an android phone and am curious to know if everyone's negative experiences with signing in has been with an iPhone...

EDIT 6-20-21: New device same GARBAGE APP!! Sign in broke!! Tiresome headaches! Using this app is like working with an opponent!! It is consistently working against you to stifle the simplest of tasks, eating up my time and patience!! From the persistent sign in issues from version to version, requiring you to re-enter your account password because my "login session" has expired, although fingerprint sign in has been enabled. To display issues because of my large font setting. Pitiful!!!

The app was working fine, but I tried to open the app again and it just continues to load and nothing else. I've restarted my phone, cleaned the caches and re-downloaded the app and nothing has changed. The app was very useful and will continue to be if you fix it please. Thank you.

It's great for paying bills quickly and easily. But I hate that a small brush of wind can knock out the power.... 😩 When you pay for service your power should never go out.

It is impossible to disable fingerprint login after that option is selected. Injured my finger today, and it is now impossible to log in to my account, even with correct username, password and SS# for confirmation. Please allow me to disable fingerprint login!!! How am I supposed to give you money if you won't let me log in???

Worst app ever. Everytime I click it it says its updating and it takes another try to log in. When I enter my password nothing happens. I'm still on the sign in page. I hit "forgot username/password" and fill out the required info. Hit 'Go' nothing happens. Still on same page.

There are not many worse apps in the play store then this. There is ALWAYS something wrong with this app. Now when I log in it tells me theres duplicate registry w my user name (northern NV & Southern) sonit tells me to put my email for the area I am in and leave the other blank. But nothing happens when I do that.

I cannot sign on, I notified the I.T., but they are unable to correct the problem. They are very lax in responding and don't seem to be interested in resolving the problem. To tell me to uninstall the app and then reinstall does not work, but that seems to be their only solution. How can my user name be registered in north and south nevada?

All I want to do is sign in once a month and send payment. That's it. Nothing more. Just pay the bill... Instead I have to wait over 20 minutes for app to "update" every single month... Its frustrating and can take a long time just to load... Still trying to sign on...

Terrible app. Fingerprint sign in doesn't work. Dashboard won't load. It seems after all this time the same bugs would be worked out. My suggestion is to scrap the app and developer, then start fresh. NV Energy is a large company with huge assets. Get rid of the brother in law and get somebody that is competent to do this.

Your developers need to do better. I've used this app in Apple iOS and it required me to reauthenticate almost every time I logged in. Now I'm using with Android and it's telling me to update Chrome even though it's been updated. This is simple stuff and it's making your app look very unprofessional. Responding to developer response: I think you missed the point. I was on the most current version of Chrome. It still gave me the error.

App use to work fine, now it just says i need to update chrome to use, and chrome is already updated. Tried reinstalling the app and still wants me to update chrome. So annoyed with this app, especially since it was working fine at one time.

Horrible app!!! It lock mw out because I use the incorrect password too many times (just once) and then I change it and still doesnt log me in and says the password is incorrect. Before it use to tell me that the app needa to update before taking me to my info.

Worst app ever..been having a system error for over 2 yrs now. try updating your app..last time was in 2000...please. Uninstall and just useing the online program...really disappointed!
