The app's update was obviously never fully tested. It's always advertising that a new version is available, even if it is up-to-date. The result of buying a ticket is random: you get charged but presented with an error message and if you're lucky you may get the ticket. The payment card is never saved, even if you clicked on the option. I am surprised app is released.

I didn't have a problem with this app before but after the new update, I tried purchasing a daysaver ticket. The payment went through but I have no ticket!! I tried contacting customer service but I wouldn't be able to talk to someone until 9am and I needed a ticket before then. I was too worried to purchase another ticket and now I've just spent £4 for no reason. I'm very disappointed with this unpleasant experience.

Useless. No longer works since the update. Slowly but surely, the apps made available by TWM/NX Bus keep getting worse. Enhanced the security to a point you can't legitimately use your card. Pathetic. Update - having used this app, I've noticed that it never saves your card details despite clicking on the option to do so. Quality control non-existent.

The payment process isnt working as it should. The verified by visa process has been successful several times, charged my card, but not taken me back to the app and sometimes not even given me the ticket I paid for! I've basically thrown money away using this app. Definitely an issue with the latest update. Please sort it out!

Until the recent update I've never had a problem with this app, I'm getting a bit tired of incompetent companies releasing apps that obviously haven't been properly tested. Since the new update I can not buy a ticket as it keeps on getting stuck on processing payment, fix it please.

Not fit for purpose. I set up a monthly direct debit but the ticket for the second month never appeared on the app. I phoned the help desk and they said due to an error I would have to phone every month to recieve the updated ticket. I've gone back to using my Swift card and I suggest you do the same.

Honestly, this app is ridiculous. After the update, buying a ticket worked for me for a few days. Now, it's taking my money and not giving me my ticket. What the hell?! As i can see from other reviews no ones even bothering to respond to even try and help. This issue is ridiculous. I want my damn money back and just to buy a ticket simply. The card works and it goes through the authentication process, and then for some reason just cancels out itself. 🤬

While I love the app, it has a 3/10 chance of not working, causing me to have to spend Extra on bus fares unless I want to be late as the bus drivers will not accept this an an excuse. The specific issue is the app being stuck on a red screen. While I still use the app, I see this as unacceptable and I think this information should be passed onto drivers.

The old version of the app ran fine but since the new update it's unusable. It's now extremely slow and when trying to buy a ticket it takes forever to load, then when paying it takes the money but you don't receive a ticket...

Really bad app, past few weeks try to buy a ticket I had failed transaction try another card it works but not for long... money from failed transaction was taken away from my bank !!! And I never receive money back sended to me from this transactions !!! Try to contact customer service but they didn't answer the phone !!! Today I tried again buy a ticket they want me to confirm transaction on my back app which I done it and at the end of this story payment was failed and money was taken away

This app is useless. Accepted my card and has took money from me but said there was an error processing payment and hasn't given me a ticket. There wasnt an error yesterday or weeks before that. It's been like this since the update. I thought it got sorted but apparently not.

Just updated the app it was struggling to let me but a ticket. It finally bought one, took the money out and hasn't gave me my tickets. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see if it fixed it. Now I can't log in it says I need to really 4 days. Tried to create a new account and it's just giving me random SDK errors. Tldr: bought a ticket after New update , has my money stolen.

11/03/21 the update has completely ruined this app. The transaction won't go through but when I check my bank balance the money is pending to be taken out. WHERE IS MY TICKET!? I bought it twice now. What's going on, can somebody help me with this? Or has anyone had the same problem, the app was fine until this update

Since the update the app has become unreliable. It kept appearing to reject my card payment but actually took payments for two tickets without confirming that either payment had been successful. This is not good enough!!

Useless now. It says there's an updated version and to download from the app store. Nothing, no update. Multiple attempts to buy a weekly ticket failed, now it went through and was charged. No ticket in wallet. I'll be following this up for a refund. Jokers, sort your app out.

The new update is RUBBISH I've purchased a ticket 3 times now and it's taken the money out of my account but no tickets are there. I've been unable to get the bus to work this morning and am waiting on a taxi!! Absolute joke. What was the need to fix an app that had no issues previously!!!!

Again the same issue payments are not working. Paid for one ticket said it didn't go through checked my bank app and it did go through but ticket didn't pop up on app. Paid again on website and sent ticket to app which came through. So now waiting for my refund from first supposed failed transaction.

Fed up of trying to purchase tickets and it saying card details are incorrect when they are not, and now can't even go into the travel shop as closed down. Disgraceful I refuse to pay more than required by tapping my card which always charges the higher rate of daysaver when I never travel that far. Seems I'm not the only one yet not seeing responses from bus company 😕

They updated the app and suddenly it doesn't work properly anymore. Tried buying ticket didn't get one however my money did go on pending ... why is the app still in use if it doesn't work I can't understand! Oh and don't bother calling customer services, all they know is "I don't know" and "I'm sorry for wasting your time"... I mean if the customer services are pissed off of people calling and complaining about the app not working then why don't take the app off from use, bunch of morons.

This app had an update and after that it's broken completely. I have been charged £8 from trying to buy 2 daysaver tickets, so I have been charged £8 and have no daysavers? The busses are already late 80% of the time, it would only make sense that they try to rip you off as well. I will be getting my money back by the way, screw you bus company.

App not accepting card payments this morning even though I've used the same card for the previous two days. Utterly useless app, so have to use contactless on the bus which costs me more money each day. And they wonder why people won't use public transport when they can't even get an app to work properly

Its fine to purchase tickets but I cannot get updates on buses. The old bus app which isn't working properly anymore use to allow me to find out when my buses were due, this app does not appear to have the option.

Purchased 3 week tickets now after being told twice that it would be OK to do so by customer services yet I have no refund after a week and no ticket whatsoever. Trying to reach customer services is next to impossible and when you do they say whatever is necessary to get you off the call. Services are ridiculous. I catch 6 buses in a day and all I ask for is my tickets that I pay for to work. I have also taken to non public transport as it is too unreliable. So much for my carbon footprint. 😡😤

No longer saves cards, even though the tick box remains there. Doesn't support basic auto entry. Drivers barely even glance at the app anyway. No useful status updates about live bus times, but somehow they still maintain the 25p pretty message sms service and took down all the in stop live times. All of which is to say, its all very primitive and backwards of where they were over a decade ago. It's like they don't want you to use their services.

Slight issue I've discovered with the ticket once purchased. You can purchase the ticket and it tells you to activate it before you board the bus. However it will still count down the days from purchase even un-activated. (So a 6 1/2 day ticket ends up in my instance a 4 day ticket, instead of a one week). Surely it should not count down until activated.

They ended the previous app for this? I used the previous bus times table app as my go to app for real time bus times. They ended that app and now I have to use a journey planner timetable within this app. Will pay for a Uber instead. The app is shocking! I dont know how you make getting times for a Bus so difficult.

The app has conned me out of money like many others since the update. Customer service not interested, weirdly tried to make me feel like it was my own fault. Pathetic that you're not doing more to help people with such a massive issue with your app, bus fare is a lot of money to some people and losing money to a broken app is unacceptable.

Looking at other reviews, many people are going through the same issue and it's embarrassing to see no response from the app developers. Ty 😍😍

The ticketing has a bug. Payment goes through off my card WITHOUT TICKET APPEARING IN TICKET WALLET, in 2 attempts. Refund for both came a day later. Tried again today -- SAME STORY, DEBITED TO MY CARD, BUT NO TICKET. Used to work Ok earlier, but not in MARCH 2022. Is it because there is another TWM app doing the same thing, BUT AT HIGHER PRICES THAN THIS APP? Unfair trading practices to force people to use the TWM App instead??
