It worked on a Pixel 4a. Setup is slightly tricky because you have to pair the NXT using Android's bluetooth settings before launching the app. (And don't forget to turn on Bluetooth on the NXT.) The user interface is pretty basic. It's not clear which motor is connected to which control, so try them all. Some are "tank controls" which means you need to swipe up or down. There isn't a way to just turn a motor on and leave it running, so if you want to do that, you'll need a different app. Still, it's good enough to make sure the NXT works over Bluetooth.

Quite good! Certainly does the job, the range is good and the various control schemes really open up a lot of possibilities. One suggestion, when tabbed out of the app, it seems to have to reset the connection when tabbing back in.

For being an app designed to control nxt 1.0/1.1 it works really well! Also there are zero ads, though I wish you would update it considering I get a warning on android 9. Other than that, love it!

Great app. Synced my Pixel 4 with an older NXT 2.0. I like the variable speed inputs and the 3 motor slider option. I would like a fixed slider option, but for an older free app this is great!

Had some trouble getting connected but it was getting the nxt to recognize the phone. Once connected this works great! My daughter will be using this for her first mindstorm project. The school has very old NXT bricks and I had to update the firmware to version 1.3.

Written under an open source license, works well, no ads. This thing is near perfect -- it has a few quirks, but I love it!

Bad app... Scans and scans and scans SCANS ENOUGH and can't find the NXT.

Pair the NXT first, then it works first time. Lenovo android tablet.

I never could program my NXT to do anything, and this application has allowed me to make use of the device over the years by using it as a remote controlled robot. My thanks goes to the developer for turning my expensive paperweight into something useful and fun. Can't connect my NXT to my new Razer Phone 2 though, the connection dialogue box keeps bugging out.

No lag at all. Some times it disconnects, the BEST NXT CONTROLER EVER. The only problem is that you have to change a setting in the nxt it self. Others DONT COME CLOSE TO THIS APP. I give it 5 stars. Best thanks to the developers who made this app. Can't wait for the next update. :-)

Works on my phone but not my sons's Nook HD tablet. A little disappointed.

Good app, but not for what I was trying to do specifically (I'm going to have to make my own app), which isn't a bad thing

The touch pad works great. There are some connection issues but I think it is either my Moto G or the Lego NXT brick itself. This is being loads of fun.

It sometimes crashes on my nexus 7... Although I have another next app maybe I should delete that.

This app works great, but it isn't the best for remote control without being near the robot because you cannot view sensor output. Maybe add a sensor panel in the menu that lists the readings of each? It's still worth 5 stars though :)

Very simple to set up. An absolute must have for any mindstorm nxt enthusiast. All 3 servos controllable. Thanks for this free program.

I usually don't write reviews, but This made me so happy I had to! It worked immediately. It took no programming on the NXT. It just connects through Bluetooth and goes. :)
