NYC 311

I have been trying to report a pothole on my block. I took a picture of it and tried to submit the request and I keep getting an error message. So, of course I cannot submit the request. Typical NYC agency, nothing ever works, the IT people are absolutely terrible.

When you put in a service request (blocked driveway, abandoned car, down tree, broken sidewalk) they immediately close it out falsely claiming that they responded. In 5 minutes??? This app is just another way for the city to ignore your concerns.

I tried to report homeless assistance for someone who was sleeping on subway station, and it keep telling me to fill out the required information, which I did. IT needs to review the app because I'm trying to be good public servant, and yet this app doesn't do anything.

Does what its supposed to do. I just wish there was a way to set up a more reliable ASP notification. I have gotten notifications when ASP is cancelled, but not always.

Wish I can like this app. Would be great if the police actually response to the complaint. called 311 and file complaint many times through the app for noise complaint but either they respond hours later or "determined that police action was not necessary". Next door neighbor would start blasting music or playing musical instruments at 1 am in the morning, sometimes after, started at 4 am last night, filed a complaint but nothing happens. Neighbors does this at least once or twice a week during night time and all day during daytime, nonstop!! I've also noticed, everytime when I select as a "recurring problem" the response I get is "determined that police action was not necessary". No point of this app, they are only good for general info but not situations like these.

I have tried utilizing this app as an alternative to calling the police or 911 for things like heavily obstructed sidewalks, abandoned vehicles, or pest situations. Not only are the operators great at finding a reason to not have to do anything, but they do so with a rudeness I am still surprised by even after trying to use this service several times. Faster to just inconvenience the emergency dispatch. I have no idea what this program is supposed to offer the community at this point.

This app would be much better if there were more addresses added to it. I live in the Bronx in an area near Manhattan College and the college kids are very Rowdy out in the streets. We are constantly calling the police to come and chase them away but this app has none of the addresses in the area for us to type in. We have to physically call 311 or the local police station directly. Please update this app!

used to be a good app that I use daily to Port things such as graffiti, that taxi drivers, homelessness, etc. with the recent update they Cutlass options on the app and drink a lot of the options towards the website which is not very user-friendly when using a mobile device. I treated 311 about this condition but haven't heard anything back from them so I uninstalled the app

I have used this app for several reasons. It is a very easy way of getting information about alternate side parking and requesting repairs for potholes in the city. I have also used their texting and got an immediate response.

Noise complaints are useless in this app. Police just ignore loud music at 3am request.

Very useful app but could use some improvements. It would be nice to submit sanitation requests through the app. Also, when submitting a request, it would be helpful if you could upload a pic or video.

This app was working just fine. After I put in a few complaints suddenly it stops working. Can't put in a new complaint unless you update the app, except you can't update the app. What a disaster.

You make reports and they go in a circular file. Nice idea but no follow-up. Agents don't appear to have a current map. they couldn't locate Borough Place or understand the difference between Astoria Blvd North or South in Queens. This is scary in an emergency.

why have notifications stopped for ASP? I haven't gotten a notification in months even though it's switched on both in the app and in phone settings. Also please add the ability to put construction complaints and complaints against horse carriage "drivers," as well as other 311 processes.

Frustration. No way to note an address. I've used the desktop app for years. Calling is too slow. Tried using it again today. Still useless. Why it has a 4.3 rating i don't know.

I like 311 and all the way but when it comes to do the map for anything you have to address oh God it's so complicated the horses when you have a complaint about anything in the day map is not working it take you forever they need to fix that other than that 311 is the best and the employees are very nice

Update has stalled the app . Did the update and not it just keeps saying the app needs to be updated. Restarted the phone. Deleted and reinstalled app. No luck. You just ruined the app. Fix it.

At times the app freezes and does not work. Additionally, it does not allow you to pay for additional cycle of parking after you've reached the 2 or 2 hf parking limit.

When I check alternate side of the street it's accurate, when I speak to someone the are polite, even though sanitation is extremely slow returning a complaint ( 3 ) they are polite in their excuse. On the whole I'm satisfied.

I made a complaint about a car left on the street that was abandoned 4 months ago and 1 second later the app closed the complaint stating it was resolved. Car still on street.

Submitting requests not working. Was a great app now when I want to make a complaint it says no Browser and won't move to the next prompt.

Wonderful to be able to use on the go. Would love more options to relieve 911 in non emergency situations
