NYC Parking Ticket Pay or Dispute

The fact that there is an app is great. The extra "security" for echeck information entry needs to be fixed: 1. Please stop masking routing numbers and account numbers, there is no need for that and it leads to errors. 2. Stop deleting information upon screen switches - I need to go to another app to look up the information, I don't remember my account numbers, nor should I. 3. Allow copying and pasting - it is ridiculous to make people memorize their account numbers!

Was easy to navigate and everything's very straightforward. Great system to use, especially for me who's not from NYC. Just hoping the error in the receipt can be avoided. Very happy that filing the dispute was easy. Congratulations and my compliments for a very efficient system.

I requested thru the App an in person Hearing. I waited for a response via mail. Also checked the app, no updates until I checked my email junk folder. It seems the app doesn't enter your defense info properly and I was deemed guilty due that APP ERROR/MISSDESIGN. worse i should be able to appeal the Decision, but the website n app just takes you around in circled trying to find the email/phone# to do so. DON'T TRUST THE APP, THE GOV IS ALWAYS TERRIBLE AT MAKING APPS 1000%, YET ANOTHER FAIL!

This app is malfunctioning when I'm disputing a ticket. Been trying to dispute a ticket for almost 3 months now and now I'm getting penalties for not paying it when I'm trying to dispute it. but it works perfectly when it's time to pay

Something it works and sometimes it doesn't work. It will show a pending transaction on your debit or credit card, but then it doesn't go through and your stuck with the ticket late fee. I'm so furious! Who do I get to reimbursed me for this glitch?

This is app is a good idea. It is a convenient way to address the issue of parking tickets. It allows you to pay and to dispute a ticket without a investment of your time. Hopefully once submitting evidence the rulings will be fair.

The fact that this institution makes billions of dollars every year ripping off New Yorkers. Is appalling to me that they are charging extra fee on top of the free money they're forcing(stealing) to hand over to them, and they can even give you an intuitive app to use.

Unable to upload a six second video. Also every time I tried to upload screenshots of the video the app gave me an error. Extremely frustrating.

I love this app. It saves me so much time on paying a ticket. It also gives me the abilities to look up if I have a ticket and or to dispute a ticket. This has been a meaningful creation, thank you. ❤

Can't work with this app. Asking for security code but no text comes in. Then it starts giving all pending codes hours later for the number of attempts. What's those good for? It used to work smoothly before.

This app makes an otherwise painful process easier. It was a synch to dispute my ticket then ultimately pay it when the dispute didn't come back in my favor (as much as I can still disagree with that ruling, it's not the app's fault!). Only two hitches were: My ticket didn't appear in the app immediately, but adding it was easy enough. Secondly I'd have liked to see the service fee show up before the checkout and maybe some explanation about what it's for.

This opinion is only for disputing experience using the app. Initially I found that it was quick and convenient way of disputing the ticket. But, later realized that I should have sat in front of computer, organized all the evidences, and prepared for thorough statement. You won't be able to do that. Once you submit the quick dispute using the app, you can't file again more properly.

Could not see payment window after scanning bar code. There was no option for "Done" or "Continue". Turns out the payment window was hidden underneath. They make it easy to ticket you, but do not make it easy to pay. Makes me want to go back to NYC real soon! That's okay. Thay have plenty of other tourists. They don't need my business!

I disputed a ticket, waited for months to hear the verdict, only to get in the mail I owe $75, $25 added to the previous and nothing else. Don't expect a response or any kind of curtsy from this process or App. NY is cruel and greedy. This app is only good to pay tickets, won't be able to see full ticket dispute result or photos. It's just for payments, they don't care.

yes, this app helps if you need to pay quickly but it also doesnt allow you to dispute further than submitting evidence in picture or video form. and even then, the court decides to find you guilty still and that's pretty much it. it's much less of a hassle to pay the fine than to deal with going through the hoops of traffic court. they make it so difficult to argue and avoid a ticket successfully that this app may as well just give you the option of paying the ticket. theres no point disputing.

I don't get tickets that often, but mistakes do happen at times. I used the "dispute" option to argue a parking ticket. Initially, I called and spoke with someone first on procedure to ensure I understood my rights and alternatives. I received clear, concise, and professional information on how to proceed. I used the "app" to submit my pictures and added my reasons as to why I should not pay the ticket. Results: I won my case and didn't have to pay the fine!! Yesssss!!!.....Easy & Efficient!!

Thank you for excellent and simple and quick process. The only thing that did not work for me twice was choosing "camera" after selecting "+ image" to add document or evidence. But that's okay I was still able to take a screen shot and photo separately and it let me add it from my phone's photo gallery.

The browser website didn't work when I wanted to pay a parking ticket. So I used this app. The app works without a hitch and has some thoughtful touches (US and NY/NJ are at the top of the scrolls down list for country and state). It's pretty clear that the city (or their contractor) has spent some effort and money into this app, and not the browser website.

I mean, it's practically extortion. but the quality of the cameras and the ease of the app, leaves me with little recourse but to give this thing 5 stars. The scan feature is pretty useful for people trying to pay via phone device, makes losing money even faster. P.S the smiley face at the end is a nice touch, but does little to diffuse my frustration towards the non-human entity that just took my money. thank you.

The app itself is efficient and good. Much easier than calling or going to dispute in person. But obviously it is the New York City traffic courts so the results are likely to be against you. But it saves time overall. I don't know why there aren't other government apps like this because it makes the process much simpler. Kudos to the development team and kudos to NYC.

Doesn't allow you two switch back and forth between apps to get your banking info from and type it in a couple of digits at a time (you lose your entry once you switch screen), nor does it allow you to copy and paste in banking info. That means you have to remember your routing and account number to enter payment.

Pretty good app except in the end you pay a ticket. Lol. Seriously, good app. One knock is that you cant call up details (like date, location) of some of the tickets.

The process of entering bank information is insane. The fields are cleared when you click away, and the values are starred so you can't see what you typed. Extremely user hostile for zero real security

Awesome experience so far, this app definitely is useful and saves you a ton of time with fighting parking tickets. If you have your receipt clearly displayed just take multiple pictures of your dashboard, the ticket itself along with the zone number, if a machine is down also take a picture and easily submit it. Very easy app to use and very convenient.

Not sure which is worse: - The fact that I'm required to install an app to pay a ticket. I used to be able to do this via the website. - The UX of this nearly unusable app, which lacks a logical layout and process flow - The scam of a dispute process, which lacks any transparency or information on the result of the "hearing" - The lack of notification OF ANY KIND when a dispute is resolved, regardless of outcome. Clearly designed to increase the chance of tacking on late fees. One star for all.

The app is good, but adding your existing (additional) tickets is an issue. When you click to see other tickets, you do not have the option of adding/skipping the tickets. By selecting to view them, you must pay all. I have one ticket in a hearing, therefore it cannot be selected. I had to back out of the transaction and start over. The app is designed to take one (1) ticket one at a time. If they could fix this glitch, it would be ideal.

Had this app for a number of years, great way to keep track of all your motor vehicle tickets. I like the feature they have that shows when tickets enter judgement (those are what will get your car booted!). Easy to keep track of tickets, easy to pay tickets, and easy to get payment reciepts (email/text). Easy layout to navigate as well, no lagging or freezing. (used on samsung galaxy tab 2 and galaxy s7 phone, yes in 2021) Good App, Download it.

I don't like why I have to use this app, not at all. It really sucks to have to pay tickets and notices or dispute tickets. That said, this damned app takes the hassle out of this dirty chore. Like just now for instance, I scanned the barcode on the speed camera notice (evil incarnate), put in my payment info from memory, tapped pay, and was done in a few moments. Like yanking off that band-aid, done and gone, back to sipping this tasty Manhattan.

Getting tickets sucks but the app makes it easy to pay. The only improvement would be getting the tickets into the system same day.
