NYC Secure

This device helped me to find out why my account was hacked so often. It turns out that I was activating new bank accounts over VoIP which like any other internet access is vulnerable to attack. This particular attack surface was the NYCLink free public kiosks we have here. NYC Secure pings each time a network you are using is currently under attack. When it scanned the kiosk one ping after another after another per minute told me NYC Link was FILTHY with attackers! So I never used a kiosk again

Downloaded this thinking it was a security app like Citizens as I am using them for work projects. It isn't and that is okay, I thought I would use it for the features that protect your phone. NOT WORTH IT! It consumes too much battery power! Thought something was wrong with my phone and am relieved I don't have to replace it as I like the nostalgia of having a note9.

This app wants to control more than your wireless connection. It gives a warning if your phone is not password protected and scans your app for malware. I don't like the additional functions,. I already have AV software and won't be told to secure my phone by any app.

Not very good at doing its job! My browser which is Google's chrome keeps getting hijacked by a piece of malware thats pretty common called trusted push thats been around for a while on the net. It didn't even detect it and that piece of malware has been around for a while. So c'mon NYC SECURE if you can't even protect my phone from this I don't feel like its worth giving a positive recommendation.

seems like useful, well designed app, but didn't get the chance to use it,the Terms & Conditions were very long, complicated and lots of legal jargon, just uninstalled it instead. Seems like an awesome tool to have other wise though.

Since I just downloaded this app, I can't yet comment of its effectiveness. However, one thing that it needs is a way to mark that a wifi network is not a threat. For example, the wifi network in my office is protected - we have to register the MAC address of our device with our corporate support group before we are given access. However, this app claims that it is a threat.

I finally figured out that this app was using a huge amount of battery power and uninstalled it. Most apps are using 1% of my battery power. This one was using 10%. I was wondering why my battery was running down so fast. It's way better after the uninstall.

So far is seems very good. Only negative is no notification setting directly in the app. Had to go to App info to turn off persistent notification.

They were on point, protecting my information. For example, some try to infiltrate by trying to change my phone number. As soon as I recognize the discrepancy, I called customer service and made a report. The matter was checked out and they were stopped I their tracks. Hoorah.

Excellent app, even though we may not be 100% secure, it gives you a peace of mind to know that someone is out there looking out for us to protect us from cyber crime. Thak you NYC.

Very easy & appears very trustworthy even from someone who is from the suburbs of NYC but has worked in & around all boroughs of nyc fast & precisely accurate . No bs...

constantly crashes, slows down my phone and when I try opening the app it just says loading - forever.. Too many bugs it needs some fixing...

This gave me pop up ads even WHEN lm on YouTube it will stop my video and show the ad. ITS SO ANNOYING dont install this app or you will get so many pop ups. Even while I was writing this. AND it spends so much battery!! I can have 98% to 12% in matter of minutes!!

I've had to uninstall this app twice recently as it's started to interfere with functionality on other apps. Oh well.

I never worry about my device any more. NYC Secure cinstantly checks my downloads as well as pre-installs. Can check at any time.

It keeps crashing and the notification messages that pop up stop and interrupt my using my phone.

Damn!! This secure app is way better than any paid or free Secure app that google playstore has!! Get this NYC Secure app and you're sett from leaks in your phone or tablet.

THIS IS A GREAT APP IT DOES A GREAT JOB PROTECTING ME IN THE INTERNET AND BEST OF ALL IT'S FREE I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE !!

I thought this app was Arelly good app it pic up on some things on my I even got and update for one of my system app for that pretricler one done good but I still haveing some type feedback from system app so I will have to unstall it for now 🙂

When it loads it's fine but I have to uninstall then reinstall to get the app to load. Annoying.

I feel that my personal information is being protected and if there's any issue they would pick it up and inform me immediately I really appreciate that it gives me a sense of security thank you for letting me share

It seems like this program...it does the jobs are pretty easy at my latest phone in very nicely+well done job at this time!

I really like knowing that Cyber Command is protecting my Internet safety on my phone. Plus, this app doesn't collect any of my personal information!

Pretty good once you understand the functions. Each day I learned more about programing APK s. With the right keys anything can be opened

Please Update App. It's been a while since the last update (09/2019), Otherwise the App works well!

My internet was working at slow speeds. I saw this app on a website and downloaded it.

This secure app is amazing and I love the fast process it has to update and secure all your information.

It does its just but I can't unmark "developer mode" as a threat. Thats like giving a 5-star chef a safety knife.

I'm worried if this app is actually affiliated with the new york government at all because even though the ad says it is the app doesn't say anything about the new york government also the creator of this app have not made anything else that looks official
