Everything works well except the Zelle app is broken. Would have liked a notification that it was down and when it is fixed instead if trying over and over and then having to call the bank to learn it's down. I like the mobile deposit function the most. Wish they would keep photo copies of checks on the app for at least a year. So ne sure to write down the information when you use it.
Online banking is good but a little confusing when you're new to online banking. It will take a little time getting used to it. So far so good I can always call if I have a problem. Zelle is very confusing @ the beginning. Overall I give it a rating of 4stars. I still prefer going into bank I know everybody there & they take care of me very well. People to people customer service you will never find in online banking. I'm an extrovert but that's just me.
This is only banking app I have that works on wifi only. When I am on the t mobile network it just says there is no network connectivity. I suggest that it is an app that needs some improvement on. So on 3-16-22 I tried it again. Now this app has nothing but a blank screen. 5-16-22 I tried it again after their last update. Much better. At least I can log in/etc (when on wifi).
Keep getting a pop up saying there is no network connectivity when my wifi is working perfectly fine. This has been happening frequently when I try to use the app which has gotten rather frustrating!!
Since March 15 2022 update. I haven't been able to access the app. Im getting an error message of ( Application has violated security policies and will be shut down) this message pops up as soon as you open the app. Then the app. Automatically shuts down and closes the app.
Works fast however I wish it had the ability (like Capital One) which allows me to put a Memo to know who the check was from and it would be great to actually see a copy of the check when looking at my statement. Also it would be extremely helpful to automatically receive an email confirming that the bank has received my checks.
Terrible app, doesn't provide access to recents statements, transactions, or statements more than 3 months old. A hassle to use as it doesn't work or won't recognize user name/password , which has to be reset repeatedly. The online app stinks. I needed to update my finances and pay some bills on April 2nd 2022 nd had not received my March paper statement, I went online. I was able to view my balance, but was not able to access my statement or acct info for the month of March 2022.
Updated a few days ago. Does not work on my tablet running android 8.1. Just get a blank screen when I run the app. Called nycb customer service. They have no clue what's happening. I'll wait for another update to fix this issue. I can't be the only one with the problem
App was working fine on the Samsung S21+. Upgraded phone to S22+ and the app show a white screen with NYCB logo in the middle. Sux that app does not load anymore. Mostly uses for checking account status and Zelle. Since app not work, I'm using another bank app to process Zelle transactions. If the app does not get fixed, probably switch my other bank as my primary account. Update 3/15/22 There was an update to the app and I am able to log on from my Samsung S22+ phone.
My experience is wonderful with the exception of the save ID box on the front of the mobile app were it saves the users ID information automatically. I forgot to uncheck it every time and it is so freaking frustrating.I want you to change it to if you want to save the user ID info to manually check off the box Not the way it is set up now automatically. I do not wish to leave my ID information on the mobile app no longer than to just login. It doesn't clear the info everytime you log out.
Since the latest update. App does not work. Open the app get a white screen nothing happens then it just closes. Will take my business elsewhere if this continues. Beware the ides of March. An update on 4/6/22 solved my issue. Thank You.
Had app for years. Attempted to open to check balance and now it doesn't load. Just get a white screen. Uninstalled and reinstalled several times, restarted phone to no avail. Very disappointed
well it took over a week for an update to fix the issue, but the app is working again. back to a better rating we go, but not being able to access my account without having to log in on a browser was not great.

been using this app for years, as of this morning, it says no network connectivity. have tried everything but it says same error. my connection is fine and fast yet this app says it isnt. very frustrating.
"Application has violated security policies and will be shutdown." I was forced to update the application. After the update, the app no longers loads on my Pixel 5a. Uninstalled/reinstalled, rebooted phone, cleared data and cache from the app. First issue encountered on my Pixel. Please fix
Doesn't work since update to 21.03.30. Either getting white screen or bounced back to home screen. Have to Force Stop app then Clear Cache to get it to work. Running on Samsung A52 5g with android 12 & latest updates. Please fix.
Check deposit is very simple and easy. When depositing a check the camera images are shown so you can see if the image is clear and/or if you need to retake the photo of it.
Keep getting "Application has violated security policies and it will be shut down. (1839:0821)" Any way to fix this? It worked fine some months ago.
Recent update rendered this app useless. It gives me a blank page when launch. Now I can't even access my account.
Recent update crashed the system, won't open up even after uninstall and install haven't been able to use app for over a week already
Broken. Never gets past the loading screen. Tried to uninstall and reinstall. Nothing.
Constantly have to uninstall and reinstall. App sluggish or nonresponsive. Very unsatisfactory.
WAS fine. Had this app for about a year and it was fine about a week ago. Opened it today. White screen. Installed and uninstalled, five times, restarted phone,numerous times,turned wifi off then on. Nothing. The only time it shows the logo and regular screen with the space at the very top of the app is when it's on the Recently Opened homescreen,when it's small with an X in the corner. But when i tap it to open it,it disappears.
Update on 3/22 broke online bill pay. App has always been glitchy. Your competition is way better than this.
What is annoying is every time you update I have to use a password to login to re activate my fingerprint.
Terrible in every way. Feels like it was developed by someone they found on Fiverr. Signs you out every time you leave the app, even if only for a second. Doesn't even attempt to read your phone's contacts so you need to add them again within the app if you want to send them money. Also doesn't appear to be any way to edit or remove those contacts once you do. The app does not scroll the screen when you start entering text into a text box or field so you can't see what you're typing. Plus a million other issues.
Performance of this app has been disappointing at best even with alleged app enhancements, especially in the last 30 days. Screens freeze as I try to page forwards or go back 1 screen. A 2 star rating is generous. I have 4 other financial apps that work like a charm. Cache has been cleared. Data cleared. Will try to reach out to developer. Has anyone else with an Android phone had the same experience. I always try to give the benefit of the doubt with development issues, but in this case I can't
Used to work but not anymore. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing. Re-booted phone. Nothing. I've had this app for a few years and it all worked fine until yesterday. Called CS. Was on the phone with them for 40 minutes. They couldn't figure it out. Other banking apps work fine. Have been thinking about switching banks and this may be the push I need. I have been a customer for years. Not cool folks. 4/4/22 I have tried installing and uninstalling for 6 months and still not working. CS useless.
