They could have been more responsive to their customers during the pandemic with the savings they experienced, yet without accidents or tickets, my insurance went up again anyway. Every year, just like clockwork.
Will no longer let me log in, before and after update - did not have this problem last year. Redirects to website for certain functions - what is the point of the app then?

no good insurance, they judge you on your driving history and wont acept you smh ,dont recomend this TOO ANYBODY!!!!!they need to step up their business.You make a quote and say that they will call you back and nobody calls you back.No wonder they have a rating of 3.0
Update: 7/26/21 Any menu attempted to access after successfully logging in ultimately prompts a "loading" screen which eventually fails to fully load. When attempting to access the website (mobile version AND desktop version), it appears that the reason behind this is the automatic pop-up for the virtual chat built into the website/app. That needs to be addressed site/app-wise.
This app worked fine until they added their "upgrades". Ever since they added remember me and finger print identification the app wont even log in. Just says logging in and freezes over and over. Fix your app for the love of god.
This does not work at all! I tried multiple times to open this app once it was installed and it says app not working over and over again!! Developer needs to fix this on going problem! From what I see NYCM has NO intention of fixing this app. Makes you wonder about the company too!
Unable to make payment using app. I've uninstalled and reinstalled app and have the same problem.
Let's me enter all my information on quick pay then push submit and nothing happens. Old version was better
This app is not worth downloading. I've tried paying my Bill 8 days in a row on here and click pay Bill after typing the amount I want to pay and it won't say it's even working on it. It just stays on the same screen then freezes. Piece of S*!+

I'm writing this review as an NYCM insurance agent (I have my own renters coverage with them). This app is lacking is a number of ways, however my biggest issues are 1. as an agent, it does not tell a customer who their current agent is! It provides a link to find an agent, but it doesn't tell them who sold them the policy, or how to contact them. Why would I tell my client to download the app if they can't use it to contact me? 2. It's not personalized at all. It doesn't greet me by name when I log in, and even though I only have a renters policy, it still shows a link to "get my ID cards" as if I had an auto policy. 3. It doesn't show you a quick summary of your coverage. The only way I can see to view your coverage is to view a PDF of your policy, but to do that, it takes you to your web browser instead of loading it within the app, so it makes you log in twice (the app, then the browser). 4. It takes you to the browser to accomplish a lot. What's the point of the app if I have to log in outside of it to get things done anyway? This may be one of the best insurance carriers in New York State, my customers have excellent experiences with them. But the app needs a lot of work.
