I use this app to verify losing tickets. There have been times that I missed a winner, but scanned the ticket and it was a winner. I used to win a free scratch off once a month, and that was cool, but I think that feature is gone. I haven't won one in a long time. Not sure what good the diamonds are that I'm winning. The worst part of the app is the animation. every time you go back to the home screen, you have to watch all the games scroll up...VERY ANNOYING. no reason to scroll every time, and it scrolls so slow.

it was good when I started using it. But after 2 months , it got stuck on the opening page and keeps trying to load and can't. I tried everything. force stop doesn't even work. uninstalled it and installed it again. And it goes straight the same page doing the same thing. contacted NYS Lottery and their specialist told me to do everything I already did. so he was no help. meanwhile I have points built up and a bunch of free scratch off game cards I won and I will lose them

This app is good when it works. However, I have ran one annoying bug: If you have a lot of spins for the slots saved up, I've noticed every time after 30-40 spins it simply stops winning. Before, every other spin I got at least a diamond. But when I reach that amount of auto spins it just stops winning. Restarting the app doesn't help. I have to wait until the next day, and lose all my multipliers from scanning tickets. So be careful if you have a lot of tickets and/or spins. Space them out.

Wow! This use to be a great app because you would win real cash prizes after collecting a certain number of stars. Then they removed that feature where you don't win anything but plays. Now I hear that the app was shut down without any notice. New York sometimes does the most stupidest things. People spend time on the app or use it to scan tickets. What a waste. I think NY is one of the most selfish and greediest places around. Trash app. 0 stars.

I too keep experiencing bug issues. It was really painful to register! And I agree w/some of us out there that unless u scan tickets it really is a waste of time. And has anyone won more than 10 spins on the mini game? I havent. Now the slot machines show blanks when they stop spinning. Please fix this app. It makes wanting to play a last resort!!!

If I could rate it no stars I would! Scam app now! Could definitely use improvement. Like letting me increase my multiplier, giving an option to enter drawings without tickets (tickets can be extra entries), handing out more prizes to encourge people to play, give me my wins that I deserve (it's not consistent on what's a win and what's not). I should've had so many wins and because it stops one of the rows slightly off it never counts. Wish I could attach photos. I could go on and on.

This is a app if you like the game connect 3. However the way the programed it, is horrible. When you connect multiple and the new blocks fall. When the new block make a connect on their own. It counts as your play points. Not right, hopefully they fix that and give their audience and chance or hope of winning or just getting close, even if it's false.

This app used to be good. A while back one could win free scratch-offs or be entered into cash drawings by scanning losing scratch-offs. Now it appears you just keep spinning the slot machine to win more spins and that's it. Maybe they'll improve it again sometime in the future, but at the moment if you like spinning a virtual slot machine nonstop and winning nothing, other than more spins, this is your app!

I sent the support page listed an email asking about a payout list for each of the slot machine mini-games within the and have yet to receive a reply. It's been a week. The slot mini-games are a major part of the app and I find it odd that such a list is not included anywhere within the app. Even more odd when I find myself getting paid (in in-game "diamonds") for a combination one time and not another for the same combination at times even within the same play session...

The app doesnt let you win more than the first 20 spins or so. Anything past that is a waste of time. Also, I have had more than 5 spins on the luck wheel (when you reach the diamond requirement) which I only win free spins. So the reward is pointless. I also notice the line pays are very inconsistent. Some of the slot lines are in play, out of the viewers screen.

I had the same issue as some reviewers who said they couldn't get their prize. I emailed support and they replied on a weekend no less, with the solution of uninstalling and reinstalling the app. This worked for me and I got the barcode for the free game. I played the slot game and it did freeze up, but it was fun for what it is...don't expect much from it realistically.

Basically having the same exact problem that everyone else is. It won't let me create an account. I'll get to the part where they send me a code and when I put the code in, CORRECTLY, I get a message saying "unsuccessful, unable to verify your identity." I contacted customer support via email about the problem and yep.. U guessed it.... No reply. I would say don't waste ur time however I do understand that seeing is believing. I too still tried even after reading all the horrible reviews.

I like how you can win scratch tickets but i do not like the slot game. The stop dosent stop when pressed. Half the time it over spins for a good 5 extra seconds when you want to switch slot games it bring you all the way back to the top instead of giving user option to scroll there selves. If you win at the beginning of your spin your not ganna win much after. Half the slot game is blank spots . If theres a new scratch ticket it always shows up when opening the app. To many bugs to fix.

Dislike this app. Initially installed but once they wanted social security or picture of driver's license a complete turn off. I initially wanted to continue with the second chance drawings on scratch offs like I did with the extended play website. No thank you. Uninstalled app and will no longer play the scratch offs. Ridiculous. Leave it to New York to figure out a way to ruin another fun thing.

I can't even recover my account or make a new one which is the only way to clam claim you're prizes, I've been playing as a guest. the slots look rigged af! they always land in the same patterns even if you press stop! you have no control, and the Bonus games only ever give you free spins. I guess if you just want to waste time you could download this.

Id give it 1 star if it werent for the fact that i still keep scanning tickets. However i think its a poor marketing scheme. Scanning my losers ends up more frustrating than anything. And in turn actually turns me away from buying tickets. I have spent less money on lottery tickets since this app. Which i suppose is a good thing. I keep hitting diamond levels and getting nothing but free spins. Or $1 dollar tickets. There is almost no reward for the time spent on this app.

Seriously? How can an app that is already horrible go backwards and get worse . What is the developer thinking! Instead of getting a free ticket here and there, lets give them more spins when they already have 5000+ spins. And you can only win on the slots if you scan losing tickets.The more money you lose on tickets,the more times you win....for a little while. After a few mins of winning, its over and you lose on every spin. Its literally predictable every single time.Better off having no app!

Terrible. You only ever get spins as a prize which is ridiculous because the scratch offs give you a ton of spins that are mostly useless anyway. This app is the worst, super cheap. The old app and ways NYL did things was way better. Where are all of the big prizes and trips to go play in contests? NYL really got super cheap, this app isn't worth it at all. Disgraceful.

From Great to Terrible In the beginning it was great. You could scan your tkts to see if they were winners & the losers were entered as chance for drawing as well as free spins that could earn credits towards the purchase of other NYL Lottery scratch tkts. They stopped the drawings 1st. Then they removed Lottery Credits from the Spins. Now I haven't even been able to scan a ticket in weeks to even see if I won. Great Job NY at ruining a good thing. Definitely been spending less on Lotto!

I have never reviewed an app before until now. But this app is so terrible it needs to be said. You used to be able to win free lotto tickets and enter cash prize drawings, but these features are no longer available. It is worthless, I honestly wouldn't even trust it to scan my tickets. The app has become useless and would be extra careful when and if solely relying on the scanner to reveal winning or losing tickets and their values. Good job New York!

At first it was fun but after awhile it feels pointless & rigged. You spin a wheel for diamonds, the only visible value of which is to level up. In the beginning, leveling up resulted in some free scratch off tickets but as you get higher, the diamonds needed for each level increase and diamonds are harder to get and you stop winning free tickets but win free spins instead. There also seems to be different luck when you redeem a ticket versus using periodic free spins. I uninstalled this app.

I signed up for this app in early March 2021 because it advertised the ability to scan in losing scratch off tickets for an opportunity to both enter into a bi-monthly drawing of cash prizes AND for the opportunity to win additional scratch offs. Reading reviews submitted prior to Feb 2021, it seemed to be a popular and successful offering. POST February 2021, reviews decidedly became consistent in that reviewers noted the app no longer provided any of its advertised prizes (neither free scratch offs, coupons, etc) nor the ability to scan losing tickets for any of the drawings. I have consistently and religiously scanned 10 tickets daily (most of which were $5-$20 tickets), but each time I scanned it would indicate I did not scan any tickets to enter into the drawings (1st indication the app is no longer working or supported). I also noted that when I did scan tickets, I received approximately 70 to 100 free plays (probably due the the $ amount of the tickets scanned.....the higher the dollar amount of the scanned tickets, the more free plays you receive). However, whenever I played a particular game (in my case the "Triple Double 777 Red Hot" slot machine game), i would receive multiple wins of diamonds over the first 20 or so spins....then all losing spins thereafter. As a result, after I notice consistent losing spins, I stop playing and wait to see if the support staff at the NY Lottery notice the reviews and decide to fix the app. As a result, I have accumulated over 800 free plays, over 8,800 diamonds and reached level 41 within that particular game (levels I assume that have not been reached by many). In all this time, I have NOT received any prizes nor coupons, nor have any of my tickets been registered into the bi-monthly drawings. Periodically, I receive an opportunity to "spin" a prize wheel....but each potential win is for just more free plays. This further indicates to me that the NY Lottery extended play program is no longer a viable opportunity for the public. I have reached out to the support staff at the NY lottery...however, my intuition would tell me that they have already written off the program....and have not made any public announcements, probably relying on frustration and bad reviews to eventually "inform" the public that this program is no longer viable. I would suggest that if you are first seeing this app, and are thinking to sign up, know that at this point, there is no upside to playing it.....the downside is a loss of time and effort, and worse, frustration that you may have been scammed. I would suggest you seek entertainment elsewhere.

This app does not work properly on my Android device. I created a login but it gets stuck on a white screen although I can hear the music. I tried waiting on this white screen for over 10 minutes and nothing. As an alternative, I tried to bypass the login process by choosing the guest option but the same white screen issue occurs. The app size is pretty small and the requirements seem to be minimal so I am not sure how this app wasn't thoroughly play tested to make sure it was compatibile.

This is updated review from my last june 2019. I enjoyed this app I must be one of the few with no issues. I was winning $/tickets. The finally added more tickets to play with though they are basically the same. I'm going to keep it at 3 stars because they changed winning $/tickets to chance spinning wheel and now I never win any $ just spins I buy enough of the game ticket to play I dont need free spins the never accumulate diamonds. Hopefully the put in effort and make it more user friendly.

The New York "Robbery" app is just like the games they offer. Bad, bad, bad....I get it, the State needs to make some dough. Give people a fair chance to win though. The more losing tickets you scan, the more chances to play, great, but you don't win anything after the first few spins. Literally, went through 100 plays and won, wait for it, ZERO. Bedside the fact I tried to join the "bi-monthly drawing for the $5k prize. Won't let me join because it say I haven't scanned any tickets, really!!!
