The 1st version of this app was not so great, but it was the 1st, so I was able to pardon it. This is now the so-called updated edition (2nd version) is "horrible!" I am unable to log on with password or fingerprint. There is no notification stating that pword is wrong or fprint is inadequate, it just does NOTHING! In addition to the frustration, on a good day when I can log on, the app freezes (just like last version) when transitioning from one action to another.

Since the last update it won't even open. There's a message that states "a network connection error has occurred". Then it just closes. I've uninstalled it and tried several times, but it still says the same thing. 10/16-- App opens up to the landing screen for express view, then just sits there. When trying to login, fingerprint option will pop up but then it just brings you to the regular login screen, when I put in my info it will just clear the screen as tho the user/pass is incorrect. This is the worst update ever....everytime I try to log it gives me a Host Communication Error message. This is such an inconvenience. If I needed to make a transfer or view my account I can't And it doesn't seem like you guys are trying to fix the problem, because it's been like this for a while. What's the point in having this app if it is not working properly. Uninstalling and re-installing DO NOT WORK!! THIS IS SUCH A DISSPPOITMENT!!! You guys need to get it together!@

This app is horrible!!!! I moved away but wanted to keep my acct I thought the mobile app would be great to use and to be able to do the deposits would be great. however i keep getting all kinds of errors. just as everybody said in their review is exactly what i have. experienced. MCU has to do better it's annoying and frustrating.

Convenient banking at your fingertips, especially since many of the branches are closing down. There is one glitch when depositing checks; if you rotate your phone during the check scanning process, it will not upload your check and you will constantly receive an error message. Just make sure you keep the phone in the same landscape position during the entire process

Technology needs work. My app freezes often. I have been trying to open the MCU app for 2 days, message says device does not recognize it. I had to uninstall the app and install it again. MCU needs to update so many of their systems. I stopped going to the branches because of the wait and it is always crowded. Now the app is not sufficient either. I hope changes are coming.

Stopped working after app update! It was working flawlessly until the recent update. It has since crashed everytime I open the app - I can't even get past the logo/first screen before it says "network connection error has occured". This happens whether or not I'm connected via WiFi or my cell network carrier. How can I revert to the older version? HELP!

I just got a new phone and uploaded the app to my surprise the same thing happened. The app is taking too long to open and then it tells you there are no transactions available Dec to June. I went to my old phone and tried it, because it still has the old app, it took awhile to open and to get to the transactions and the todays transactions are there. I hope it works for you guys. Give me thumbs up.

The MCU app is constantly malfunctioning. Frequently it does not allow me either log in or access it at all. Too often I must delete the app and reinstall. Sometimes the app doesn't recognize my logon and access is denied. Yes, I log in slowly and accurately. I deleted the app and gave up. I may try again in a few weeks or months in hope of an update to fix. The low rating on this app says it all. Someone please fix this app to work all the time. BTW, I have a Samsung Galaxy A20 phone.

The absolute worst app that I've ever attempted to use. Downloaded for the sole purpose of avoiding an in-person visit to an actual branch, I tried to deposit a check. Followed the instructions again, and again, only to be told that it didn't go through. I've probably taken pictures of this check 80+ times by now, yet to no avail. Between being told to retake it, and the app crashing, I've made ZERO head way. Finally, I just gave up and made an appointment to visit a branch next week aka the EXACT outcome I tried exceedingly hard to avoid. I can not describe just how utterly frustrated I am right now. Uninstalled the app, and shall never use it again.

Omg! I've had this app for years and never had this many problems. The last time it kept telling me my password was incorrect, this time I can't even get to the login screen, and I've already uninstalled the app thinking it would work this time, smh. I hate when they make changes to these apps, that's usually when it starts acting up.

MCU offers you the option to make mobile deposits, however it NEVERS goes through. I've tried it on my account and other people's account and it gives a reply to endorse the check, eventhough it already has been endorsed. Now they give you prompts on how to set it into the view finder, but that doesn't work either. MCU really needs to get up to date.

The mobile app deposit feature is supposed to make the deposit process easier. Instead, it's extremely frustrating. I decided to stay with MCU even though i moved from the city and this feature has been necessary for me. However, it's extremely frustrating to try 15 times to deposit a check with the app and every single time it tells me to add the "for mcu mobile deposit only" when I've written it 3 times by my signature. Please fix this. Thank you.

It's alwayssssss lagging. Spins for a minute or 2 before actually showing the express view, almost another 2 minutes if you actually click on an acct, and then 2 more minutes if I want to login. Let's not even talk about the "No network connection" error code. Super frustrating is an understatement!

Horrible App. Lags on startup and after login, shows blank screen for a while when going into the balances folder, connection error message often appears. I've uninstalled and reinstalled many times. It isn't our phones that's the problem (I have a Note 9). It has to be on MCU's end.

Terrible app. Mobile deposits never work. App will stop working randomly and close without reason. The only feature that works well if the express view. Other than that it's a trash app. In a world with so much competition with mobile banking, which I'll use the most, it'll probably be the reason I switch off MCU for my main bank.

When the app worked, it worked. The problem is, that was such a short and inconsistent time. The error or network messages were unnerving, so l did what most people do, I deleted the app then reinstalled it. WOO-LAA, the same stuff again. HOPEFULLY, using the website will render better results.

This app is horrible. When you touch the app it takes forever to load (usually you need to close it a few times before it bring you to the login screen), crashes, huge login delay, cannot deposit checks because of timeout error, cannot check account in a hurry it would literally be better to just use the automatic call service. Deleted and reinstalled multiple times still the same issues absolutely unacceptable .The developer and maintainer of this junk needs to be fired they are god aweful.

Over the past month I too have been experiencing problems getting onto the app. The error message relays to a connection issue which I have not had with any other app. I am a long time MCU customer and this type of customer service is unacceptable. Please correct or risk losing a valued client. 🤔🤨

I've been using this app for years. All of a sudden, yesterday, I'm getting an error message saying "network connection error". Won't open at all. Won't take me to summary screen.. Tried reinstalling and rebooting phone. Very disappointed.

The Tech department should be fired! Last update states "Bug fixes". So now all i get is UnknownHostException errors. Restart phone. Uninstall app. Restart. Reinstall app. UnknownHostException error. Same error on wifi and cellular. Works fine on my iPad, but I prefer an Android phone. This app is so riddled with errors the coders should be fired.

This app I guess is the WORST App on Play store when it comes to the Mobile Deposit. A lot of Customers have complained about it and you need to fix it other than that I would advise not to offer that kind of Service because it isn't working. Checks won't be captured after following all the necessary procedures. I have to uninstall several times and reinstall. Still won't capture . Finally went to the bank personally to deposit it. Horrible !! See all the One Star Ratings you have.

It worked great until the last update, then it wouldn't even open. Keeps crashing and giving me a network error message. I turned off my wifi and used my carrier network and the same thing. I uninstalled and reinstalled and the same thing. Very unhappy!!!!!

Unfortunately since Dec. 2019 I have not been able to use this app due to an error message that has consistently plagued me trying to launch the app. A Network error has occured SSLHandshakeException This is ridiculous. When will you finally fix this app so it can actually be used effectively! I did all that was asked an the App still did bit work effectively. I deleted it and have not bothered since. Sad to say I have issues with the loading of the app and upon trying to open it it crashes. Not sure if its a result due to not enough tech workers but this app has gone downhill. It would auto log me out after just signing in, the Mobile deposit has stopped working for me. I may just have to keep going into the branch which takes forever to get to either atm or teller.
