Nymphenburg Park (English)
The app “Nymphenburg Palace Park” is your companion to discover this historical park in Munich. This app includes historical information about 23 selected stations, audio documents, pictures and films about Nymphenburg Palace Park. All the texts in the app are also available in audio form.
TOURS
Three tours are suggested. They are GPS-based, so that when the GPS is activated your location is shown by a red dot on the map. When you are approaching one of the stations you’ll hear a signal tone and can call up information about the station. You can of course also explore the palace park without following one of the tours.
FEATURES
FilterA filter function appears with which the stations can be sorted into the categories of “Garden”, “Monument” or “Water”.
3D viewUsing the camera function, point your mobile phone round you to find out via the augmented reality feature what stations are nearby.
Games – and not just for kidsTake part in a pheasant shoot, firing from the gallery of the Amalienburg, or test your know¬ledge in a training course to be¬come a palace park inspector!

The app is free of charge and you don’t need a mobile data connection to use it.For loading the media data from the mobile network, we recommend a flat rate or download in an optimal environment (W-Fi, LTE), as this may incur high charges.

I wanted to use this app, but it requests now to access my contacts, in addition to accessing photos and media and taking pictures. The puspose of app is to give me info about Nymphenburg, not to access my personal info.
Great tool when visiting the palace grounds. It even shows yippy where you are on the map to find the best walking path to something of interest, such as the pump house or the prince's summer house.
Crashes and exits as soon as you press the triangle to begin using the app. (Google Pixel 3)
doesent work on oneplus 5t, android 9.0 . just crashes after the Startscreen

Well worth installing, gives you plenty of info, including walking tours round the park, a detailed map and it hooks up to gps so you know where you are.
Very comprehensive and detailed, featuring AR signage as you walk through the park and short videos in German and english
Full of wonderful and easy to access information. Such a beautiful place!
The idea of the app is excellent, but I never got to try it out because it got stuck while downloading. The German language app appears to function as advertised, but unfortunately (for me) Ich spreche kein Deutsch. (Samsung Galaxy S20+)
