i have congenital horizontal nystagmus but my vision is no where near this bad. i dont get a shaking image like that. i cant imagine how debilitating this must be.
I was born with horizontal nystagmus so my brain has adapted to stabilise the image I see. Being exhausted worsens my eye movements. I also tilt my head sideways in a way that is natural to me to create a 'null' point to reduce or stop my eye movements. I suffer from eyestrain a lot more than an average person. Amazing work you people have done here with this app.
This app has given me an insight in to how the world is viewed by people with this eye condition. It must be horrible. Thanks developers
I am good friends with a sufferer of nystagmus I let them try it and they said it is nothing like this at all the eyes move constantly but the vision does not they would not be allowed to drive if that was the case this app needs looked at again as it is giving false information about the condition..
Thank u for making this app my son has nystagmus he has just turned 2... it so much better now I can get an understanding of what it like what he see...
Intuitive interface. Really gives you an appreciation for how debilitating the illness can be!
Gives a good feeling of what it must be like to live with Nystagmus.
It helps you understand how people affected by oscillopsia perceive the world
Flickers at 120hz, makes me nauseous looking at it, also it disables the back buttons, making it so there is no way to turn it off without restarting the phone. I have nystagmus and was hoping to use this as a demonstration tool, sadly, it's too flawed and the flickering is probably dangerous for some users.
