NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits

I never saw something like that before. Not like this. Plaid a lot of game before. My top are Hoplite and Alto. Nyx? Join my top. Usually I hate platform games. But it is something else. A masterpiece. A must have. Not too hard not too easy. A pleasure. As good as a movie. Even better. And the remove ads for 3€ worth it. It gives you infinite continue at the last check point. You can choose to play the 20 level as you want. Such a rare player experience. It chilled me as Rune did on me on PC.

Gme with potential. Has nice graphics and mechanics. But it has a graphics glitch in which the sand gets dark and so do the platforms where you have to stand, so you don't know where you can stand to not take dmg. This can almost make it unplayable in some levels. Also it would be wise to have some invisibility seconds after taking damage or removing the jumping animation, because you can get a chain effect.

This is the best game I've played in a long time. The music, the plot, the graphics, the obstacles, everything was amazing. I love how the most obvious route isn't always the right one, how much brainwork you have to do as opposed to simply running and jumping (what I originally expected from this game) and how it progressively becomes harder yet still easy enough that you know you can do it if you try a little harder. If only there were more chapters☹️...

I'm loving this game. It's a bit difficult at times but so far nothing that's impossible. Then again I've only just started playing. I love the story. I'm getting quite good at controlling Nyx flyind and gliding. The controls are great. I've tried to play other games on my Android with similar controls and I would just get frustrated. Great game developers! 😁

Overall, very good game. I was wondering though, because there seems to be a glitch in level 4, Olympia. I even had to look up a walkthrough because I couldn't get past it. There are supposed to be 2 movable blocks, and there aren't... can't get past the level without those blocks. Other than that, great gameplay and great concept!

I often get bored with games really fast, but this game had the right amount of action to keep me entertained. The levels were well made, a little more challenge would have been nice but overall it was really great! The graphics were amazing, and I really liked the usage of wings in relation to platforming. The controls were a little frustrating, because the game wouldn't register a tap if you had just tapped the screen. But, I loved it, and recommend to anyone who likes Greek mythology!

Very unique game, with just the right amount of challenge and a good balance of puzzle vs action that should appeal to almost any player. The story didnt interest me greatly but the art is lovely. Minor problems: occasionally the controls dont respond. Good news is there are lots of checkpoints. I would also like to see more challenges involving Nyx's gliding power, which never seems useful. PS - THANK YOU for making an action adventure with a female protagonist. We need more!

This game is beautiful! Well done devs. 🤛 My only comlaints are that, as others have said, its too easy for my thumbs to wander from the buttons. It gets frustrating quickly. Also, please make the pop ups different for returning to the last checkpoint and for quitting to the main screen... I have hit no accidentally too many times and had to start the level over. Every time it happens I exit the game because I did all of that and got so far just to start over. 🙄🙄🙄

Controls very well, looks great, and it's fun to play through. Just disappointed with the lack of challenge: five jumps plus hovering plus gliding (in addition to the environment you can manipulate) means you can breeze through the platforming sections effortlessly, and all enemies are easily dealt with - especially with lightning. This is more of a problem than the fairly short length of the game I think.

I want to give zero stars to this game for these reasons: 1. There are enormous number of ads which appear out of nowhere suddenly in the middle of the game forcing u to stop and then asking if u want to quit the game. 2. There are no instructions or map to show where and what u have to go and do. 3. Game suddenly closes due to ads.. 4. Controls are very sticky when u have to slide the stones or pull the winds.. Otherwise a good game.. very challenging.. just enough difficulty level..

This is by far the best mobile game I have played in the longest time. Great back story with beautiful sound effects. Incredible animation with easy to understand and use controls. Most importantly, a great idea executed to the best degree of creators. I would have loved to play more levels or even buy the game in the future. Thank you!

I like the game , the graphics are good and the controls are simple. However, ads, which are short, granted, are not minimal. And checkpoints vanish after a certain number of attempts. After which, you either watch (another) video or you presumably buy the game or go all the way back to square one. I hate these types of games. Either show ads within the game (bearable) or don't make each level so long. That's irritating.

I loved this game! Simple, entertaining, and a good storyline. Especially if you wait until the end of the credits. Then you find out he survived, has got a new pair of better wings, and is on his way to see Nyx. Great game! Good job devs. :) Played the whole thing in one night, with no glitches or errors. Couldn't put it down! I think the problem people are talking about with the controls is your fingers get off of them. I had that happen numerous times and died. XD But that's user error. Lol.

Nicely polished game and fun to play. Typical annoyances such as on screen control buttons often in the way of other powerup touchscreen controls adverts galore, (but can be skipped), but other than that very playable. Just wished it had been a bit harder - I like a bit of gameplay frustration and problem solving but this game is rather soft with that. Otherwise a very nice game ☺

Amazing! I love it, the graphics are beautiful, the game is fun and doesn't make you go through specific levels in a typical mapped out manner, just continuous gameplay (besides the ads) basically this game is great with a nice story. My only question is why was it free on my phone but it costs $0.99 on my iPad? I wanted to get it on there as well because of the bigger screen but obviously, it costs money. I just wonder why. Anyways, great game overall.

What was supposed to be an exciting adventure to rescue Icarus turned out to be a tedious experience to power through the wonky controls as well as the constant pop-up advertisements. I was intrigued by the little cutscene in the first chapter, and the concept was interesting as well. This was immediately diminished, however, when I found out your character had a walking speed of a limping tortoise. Every attempt to go through the obstacles is menial and managed to be dull at the same time.

Way too many ads. I play a lot of mobile games and am used to ads after levels or to get extras. I didn't even finish the first level of this game, and there were three pop up ads that interrupted the game play. Sure, they were short ads, but I don't want to be pulled out of the game every 30 seconds to watch a loud, annoying ad. Fastest I have ever uninstalled a game.

One of the best games I've played for a while. Not just an ordinary platformer but very interactive. You gain multiple powers as you progress through the levels and makes the gameplay more fun and interesting. Definitely a game I would recommend. Over The Top Games please continue developing games like this one. Looking forward for more.

I liked the graphics, but that's pretty much the only thing. I finished 2 levels and it stopped at the 3rd one. Why? I have no idea, I just couldn't move or pause or anything. Also, I know the ads help the creators to make games but this was ridiculous, ads every 2 minutes, before, while and after u finish the level. Common?

I tried downloading because I'm stuck at home and it looked like a fun game! NYX is FUN!! It's smooth playing, and not incredibly difficult or frustrating like many other platform games are! The controls could be refined for easier use, and the ads are frequent, but usually only 5 seconds each unless Nyx dies. I totally recommend this!

This is an amazing platformer! I am always leery about mobile games and tried this and was very impressed. The increasing difficulty is very smooth, the puzzle solving aspect is very well done, and the story to go along with the game is also intriguing and fun to follow along with. Overall excellent work!!

This is a beautiful game, but the incredible amount of adverts who pop up all the time as you play REALLY ruin it. I tried to ignore it, I really tried, but it's literally all the time. You make a few steps... Advert! You make another few steps... advert. Again and again and again and again...

I only made it to level 3. I feel there should be instructions on how to do certain things like catching the fireball. I spent two days figuring that out😐. There is this high wall in level 3 that is impossible to pass which made uninstall it. I liked everything else about it. Too bad I couldn't go far

I would give 5 stars, this is a unique and addictive game, I already paid for no ads to support devs. But the player buttons are somewhat hard to handle, I always die because my finger moves outside of them. I suggest: make the right button touchable anywhere on the right screen side screen; remove the arrow buttons and make the player move Nyx by touching anywhere on the left screen side and dragging finger left and right from that point. Then I will definitely give 5. Good luck with dev :)

I've played and finished this game 2 times. I think I can speak for the majority that we need more games like these. One which has a plot and strategic platform puzzles to think on and one that's free. Great game

Fun game, and I hate platformers. Challenging but not impossibly difficult. Ending was anticlimactic and after finishing the game, I felt it was too short. I didn't find all the secret items in the game. I guess aside from trying to find everything, not much replay value. Overall, okay.

Really awesome game. Only problem is the number of ads that come up even without internet connection. Luckily, if an ad wont allow you to resume, go back to the game menu and select the level again - it will allow you to resume from last save. I recommend this game
