Nzb Leech - usenet downloader

I have no clue what people writing many of these reviews are smoking. You can download, it absolutely has a file browser to both open nzbs and extract (eg rar is included) or open downloaded files. It also shows download progress and failure. It may not be the prettiest of apps but it works. The only sleazy thing (hence the 4/5) is a pop up at first launch that makes it seem like you can't continue without donating. I almost uninstalled it. But you can start using it by simply press back.

It has been great for nearly two years. I made the donation to get full features. The past week or so though, ive been having trouble connecting to my server. Other nzb downloader can connect fine, but for some reason nzb leech is having difficulty. I rated this a 5 because the app is great. I am hoping the support is also equally as great.

Its like the only usenet downloader for Android that I've found that actually downloads on local device. Boss. P.s. had no problem paying 5.99, I paid 7.99 for nzb360 and that was a more permanent solution. That being said, I'm not even sure what features paying for it even unlocked. Something looks different in menu and you don't get that pay pop up lol.

I'm no longer able to download anything since the last update. Even previous nzb files that had worked no longer work. Edit: issue was with my phone. I'd like to say thank you for the excellent support I got whilst trying to resolve the issue.

Good app but needs updates such as extraction stopping if phone screen goes off and easier path selection for where to put files instead of typing in the path or copying and paste. There must be enough donations to warrant such updates could really do with a simple file manager that would make it easier to select paths for downloads, also does this download to OTG devices?

Most download files are heavily corrupted. This never happens to me with nzbs on desktop, using the same server. So I assume it's the app that is the problem. Had to donate to test par repair, but that didn't work either.

Solid Usenet client. I've purchased the app a second time to support development. I wasn't sure if the new version would unlock permanently once purchased, it does. Developer has supported feature requests, and the app performs very well.

I paid for this app and happily did so. I needed something simple and mobile oriented and this fit the bill. The search functions for my nzb index is a little wonky, but not too bad. All in all a great app and I'm glad I found it!

Very good usenet client but as a few niggles on Nvidia Shield. One problem I have is there is no way to pause or delete downloads on shield. Also needs to be made compatible again with Android TV instead of having to side load app.

I mean it works but I would like to know why my download speeds are 1/8th the speed of what it is on my pc for nzbs. They are both on the same download connection and my phone speed test shows I should be getting 8x the speed I am. Is there a DL speed cap for the free version? Would like to know before I upgrade.

this is a brilliant app which used to be compatible with android TV, now it is no longer supported as no longer getting the latest updates. also did compatibility check and says not supported on my nvidia shield. shame, please make it compatible again.

Good app but there appears to be a bug when extracting large files. Namely 4k files. It seems to extract half way or so and just stop. I have left my phone extracting over night and still nothing. Please fix this big!

Very very good usenet client for your device. Sometimes search csn be hit and miss but download and extraction is solid, configuration options are all there including mutiple servers. Very useful

It supposedly detected the sd address to copy/paste but path kept failling when entered. Over multiple months of trying. Not sure what changed but it finally accepted it.

Would be great if it didn't stop losing my donation so that I have to uninstall, then reinstall and put in all my configurations again. 3 times now in the previous 24hrs ! Please fix this and add option to backup and restore configuration.

I guess it's premium only. There is no way I'm paying for an app without being able to try it first, at least not an app of this nature. I have never tried usenet on the Android platform before, so try-before-buy is the only thing I'm interested in. Good luck!

Can't connect no matter what we do or did....followed your directions and it does not connect ...app crashes and does absolutely nothing. WILL NOT CONNECT NO MATTER WHAT

I've previously bought the full version a few years ago but when I reinstalled it on my new tablet there seems to be no way to get the app to recognise that. it expects me to pay a 2nd time as it tells me the trial has expired. what's going on here?

Just installed for the first time. 1 nowhere is said it has premium features 2 I get instant message telling me that trail has expired is this a 2 second trial well let's use the app to get the full version from usenet to test the pro

7 day test is over when you download it. Cant par any files back togeter. That might be a payed level item but cant test that.

Purchased AGAIN given its the most polished and efficient NZB downloader on Android. Lost a star based on 'new' version but the explanation in other review responses suffices. Strong ongoing updates and support.

I tested the app, works great, but the developer should clearly explain what you get from the pro version and make the end user agreement more simple and less complex. I mean, you get much more money by getting a 4.8 average score rater then annoying users by explaing them that you own the app and not them..etc..etc.

Great app and developer! Unfortunately I couldn't get it working as I'd like on the 2019 nvidia sheild Pro but the developer spent time assisting me and answering any questions I had. Prob more a limitation of my setup/hardware..

this is the easiest, best way to download nzb files on Android. Simple set up, and you're off and running. I really appreciate this app.

Deals with nzb files, then extracts, repairs if required from the par files and finally collates to produce final article. Using on Samsung Galaxy S7 plus tablet.
