NZMCA Travel

Great little app, hugely helpful when planning a caravan trip. One very minor issue, it is a little too easy to 'fall out' of the app with the back button. Would be good if user was asked 'are you sure?' before app closes. Also would be good to be able to select more than one filter item at a time when searching (currently it's one or all).

Great app, but some features I would like to work better: - filter, add multiple choice - search, use google map search result if there is no excat match, to atleast move screen to a certain region. - deals appear in notification bar of the phone, but click event forwards to the main screen, while deals tab is empty. So I was never able tp find the deal advesed in notification panel.

Great App some screens are confusing as to how to move on. eg review a NZMCA site. once you write a review you have to chose back on Android to be able to submit it. Tried to add an attraction 2nd screen after selection attraction had no relevant choices for a place to go visit. All teething issues great features in the app

great app for finding places to stop with caravan. i found the filter not easy to use, i dont seem to be able to select more than one ootion at a time. i would like for example to be able to see DOC sites and free parking at the same time.

Loving this app and I dont usually like or want too many apps. We went to plan a trip using our hard copy directory and then started using this. Great to get the details about places to stay especially with the map, you can look up so many things and the comments are very helpful:-)

I love the app. We use it all the time. Great for navigation to a site! Downside is that if you lose internet the app doesn't work. Overall have found the info is generally up to date with some great points of interest to visit.

Easy to locate a wide range of options for places to stay and dump stations. The personal comments are very useful and enlightening.

Can you please please please fix searching so that it saves the area you are searching. When you select from a list and go back you have to type it all in again. And please under everything include everything for that area incl pops, caps and free, campgrounds etc. Surely others must have same feedback? Otherwise great app esp the payments.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to include a range of 'types' but not everything eg just include campgrounds without ds, POPs and DoC sites but nothing else. Sometimes thre screens are so 'cluttered' when everything is selected, I just want to be able to filter out those I don't want to use.

Filters are less flexible after the update. It used to be possible to combine the filters, e.g. if I want to see DOC campsites, nzmca and free parking i can't see them all in one place any more and have to switch between three screens

Love this app. It seems that it uses the same platform as others eg camper mate and the like, therefore same info but this has lots more information added. There are however some freedom spots not mentioned on the platform which we have found by word of mouth or council websites. However best all round.

Use it all the time when we are traveling especially in new places. I find the feedback about places to stay really useful. We travel with a small dog so like knowing which places we can and can't go.

Could be the end of an expensive printed travel directory as this app can be updated so easily. Be nice if people posting pics of sites made sure they were up the right way but not the end of the world. Comments are very handy especially as we have a fairly large rig, nice to know if other 5th wheelers or caravans had enough room. Keep up the good work. Brilliant app for members travelling around New Zealand. This is our go to app for places to stay, dump stations and even things like showers when we feel like a bit more water pressure than the RV can do. Payment for NZMCA sites is very handy too! Keep up the great work

Absolutely fantastic app. I use it all the time and find it so important to our trips. It is way way better than the trip planner on the members site. Pity it can't be replicated on the NZMCA members portal.

Great for finding places to stay when travelling. Much more convenient than the directory. Would be great if it would work with Google maps.

Great app, we use it frequently. It is like a touring Wikipedia & it makes it so much easier to travel through towns & cities finding all the services you need....better than satnav. The more people add directions, updated information & comments etc the better this app gets.

Very useful and easy to use app. It is designed for Apple devices, Androids get kicked out if they use the back button, which is a bit of a nuisance, hence not all 5 stars.

This app is great. No problems after using for the last six months even after the latest update. Just allow for differing points of view in the comments area on each site and all is really good.

A really excellent app. Just updated it on my new phone. So easy & great to use. Paying the camp fees is fabulous . It doesn't appear to lack anything. Congratulations NZMCA.

Makes it very easy to find the best places to stay without having to lug round the large directory. And the directions to get there. Awesome 👍

Easy to use right from the setup. Very helpful while we were travelling the South Island. Member comments were helpful to describe which parks wer would stay at. Found the deals helpful too.

Found it very useful in unfamiliar places ,and for planning routes. Was easy to use, so hoping it still is with the updates.

I am not particularly savvy with my smartphone and I find this app extremely easy to use. I was delighted to have it loaded at Music in the mountains thank you so much.

Very useful for finding NZMCA parks, learning more about them, paying fees and finding dump stations. Not quite as good as camper mate for free camping.
