Initially the ap appears to work fine, but once the video starts paying all controls completely freeze including stop, forward, pause etc, plus all generic screen controls too (can't close the browser tab etc). Full screen mode doesn't work at all. Disappointing (Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 with Jellybean update)
Well the old version of tv on demand wouldn't work either. For this app the website is fine, however on trying to watch programs ive only been getting the response, " The video you are trying to watch is currently unavailable. Please check back soon". The Tv3 on demand module keeps prompting to download the latest version of adobe flash. Can you guys fix this or do I really have to root my tablet just to watch tv?
Nice to have a list of NZ on demand tv sites. List not configurable, does not show web address. Then does a very bad job of browsing those sites, freezes, crashes etc. Should simply use the phone's browser instead.
Terribly! Can't sign in on my smart phone even though I'm logged in on may computer, just keeps taking me to the sign up screen. Also, can't access on demand tv shows on my comp says network error even though the net is working fine. You're getting left behind in the online TV apps technology race TVNZ, so I suggest you get your act together or sack the tech guru's who run this area and hire someone who does... it's 2017!
We missed the last part of a program, tried for days to catch up. This is the worst media App I have ever encountered. Don't bother. Should be zero stars.
Just takes you to the webpage in your browser. Not to mention not being able to watch anything as flashplayer is not supported, how this makes th top free apps is beyond me. Bottom line is dont download.
Rubbish, as usual unless u own a Samsung or I pad then it won't work bloody typical, wouldn't give it even one star but don't hav that choice
Works effortlessly on my SGSII. Does everything you say it does. Just finished watching an episode of Supernatural, that I missed.
It would not let me play the tv show I wanted to watch. Most annoying, waste of time having this app.
I have recently tried to watch my shows on my tablet but keeps saying to watch in app or get app I have the app but doesn't work what a wist of time get your act together tvnz please.
It works great on my HTC onex. Not so good on my acryan veolo which is running 2.2. Probably because flash player isn't really supported on versions under 4.
What a total let down advertised as on the market for download yet fails to watch anything.
Seriously TVNZ, if you spent as much time and money on actually making a working app as you do advertising the app, you may find more people actually using the app. Have tried it on 2 different android tv boxes, doesn't work on either of them
Did all the neccessary stuff. Downloaded dolphin browser and jet pac. The it comes up with the words this protected item cant be view on mobile platform. What the heck. A star is even too much
This doesnt work. Its not easy to use and when you tap on shows nothing happens. Dont download it

I've just downloaded the app and can't watch anything on my phone. Frustrating.
Appears to be just a redirect to a website that won't work on any device I've tried.
If I could rate no stars I would. The app doesn't even work. Take it off Google play.
Does not work at all on samsung galaxy note 10.1 it needs html5 suport update or be able to use onbord media player.

60% of the buttons do nothing Finally manged to navigate my way to a video and the play button doesnt work, waste of time.

Sorry but I can't think of one nice thing to say about this app. Not worth the download. As others have mentioned it's just a shortcut to the Web pages.
All I wanted to do was watch tvnz on demand but this app doesn't allow me to do this.. Very frustrating and doesn't work I dont recommend using it
Great concept, long overdue. Unfortunately this app does nothing. Needs serious work
Why bother putting an app out there that won't even work. Can't even watch content on it. This is an insult to TVNZ viewers.
Down loaded as directed from the old one demand just to be told cannot play of my s7. Not happy.
Before being a mum of 2 I was in IT. I have never come across such a bad app. Tested and failed on my Nexus 5
App is terrible, comment bar slides up over full screen button which doesn't matter anyways because halfway through the first ad (oh yea there's ads) the player glitches out and completely shat itself... Come on tvnz I mean I know times are tough but dude most people watch online nowadays step it up.
