I am at the Software Architecture conference trying to use this app to see the schedule and it keeps freezing on the loading screen. not good O'Reilly.
Garbage! This app is terrible. First cannot login for 3 days. Then can login for 1 day. Now cannot load even after complete reinstall . What's Oreilly thinking for ashaming themselves over this.
The app is freezing. doesn't work. tried to remove/install it many times, nothing help.
It's functional and accomplishes what it's needed for. In my experience it's not anywhere near as bad as some of the other reviews make it sound.
App does not work, just freezes on a splash screen.

Embarassingly bad UI and slow interactions. Maybe O'Reilly should host a UX conference next?

Constantly freezes on the splash image
After installing, it hangs at a logo with 'o'reilly events'.
Website allows signin using google account, mobile app does not.
it's not an app, it's a wrapper around the website

When going through the schedule when you read the details of a talk to decide if you want to attend it, and then come back to the main list, it jumps all the way to the top. That forces you to flip through all the talks that have either ended or you have already reviewed, all over again. Also, it shows only some talks and you have to keep hitting More to see talks beyond that. Combined with the above its horrible. Also, when you get into the app it starts all over instead of taking you to your last point.
bad ui bad ux, scrolls on its own every now and then making u tap the wrong thing all the time. did not save my notes. only the map okish. overall if i knew how awful it was beforehand I'd find other ways to do what it does and not even bother
Not terribly usable. My phone just turns off while waiting for something to happen. UI is unresponsive and things just maybe eventually happen. I don't know - the website works way better. Mobile web is an alternative, but requesting the desktop site was the best option for me..
Unable to login, attempted password reset and never got an email. I'm just using the mobile web site.
The app is okay. My bug complaint is that I created a personalized schedule on my desktop and when I logged into this app, I had to create the schedule a second time.
Impressively bad; Baffling UI, poor stability, fails to authenticate when pressing 'back' of all things, lists jump around randomly so you loose your place, reloads static data constantly, requires updated contact info several times a day....
Constantly reloads. Can't login with your existing O'Reilly account. You need to create a new account for the app. So if you have created a personal schedule on the website, you have to create it all over again in the app. The UI is terrible. It's slow and buggy.
Cannot get the dumb thing to load... I'd be very embarrassed if I was Oreily.

Why does this app even exist? I already have a browser that works. Why do I need an app that doesn't work?
UX so so bad... Seems to load entire schedule on every launch.. Have we no local storage? Is it too hard to timestamp schedule changes or provide diffs? Click on an item to see detail.. Return to daily list and you're back at 8 am not the time slot for that event. Klunky. Controls too small.
