I've just started using Oakter smart kit and I'm really amazed. The smart kit with 2 plugs and a small circuit for 4 more appliances is a great start point for the ones trying to convert appliances smart. I had some difficulties in connecting the kit, and Oakter's support was on point. They replied instantly and did multiple follows to make sure things were right.. Highly recommend..

This app is awesome. It has made my non smart ac and set top box smart. The integration with alexa and Google home are very smooth. On top of that they provide instant customer support over WhatsApp. I couldn't imagine that I got the response back within 1min.

Buggy app. Good support. I had changed houses and wifi. The app was still looking for previous app and was not able to reconfigure new wifi. Prashant Kotte was helpful in providing a hack of creating a hotspot with same previous wifi SSID and reconfiguring the remote. It worked. Thanks

3rd class product. This does not connect to wifi, even if I enter password correctly, it says password is wrong. The devices are also in the same room as the router. It is not able to connect, I am trying since 1 hour, it is not connecting. Very bad experience.

App needs login/setup. It needs permission to make and receive calls. It needs permission to location. Then it only works with 2.4GHz wifi. My wifi is 2.4/5GHz but it won't work with it. Obviously none of this gets mentioned when you buy the device / install the app. Now I have a very lightweight paperweight with a single blue blinky bulb.

Used the app for oakremote IR BLASTER with my AC.Hardware is good,connectivity is seamless. However, the app is not what i expected. Only ON-OFF and temperature buttons is just not enough.The app lets down all the good work on the hardware front.Please undrstnd the target segment here.Smart home aspirants will be willing to pay some more bucks for "That experience",where the app sadly fails. AI devices users are used to super smart Alexa and this app just doesnt cut it. Raise the bar guys.

Gr8 device, saves laptop, mobile from over charging also I use it for water heater as well so it saves lots of electricity for me .

The customer execs are fine but their products need a lot of work as I find my self pinging their engineers whenever I am faced by simple issues such as not being able to operare a switch or etc. The communication between this app and their devices has been very problematic for me.

Great experience witht the remote. Most devices are compatible. Works well with Google home. Customer support on whatsapp id very responsive. Would be great if additional brands acn be pre configured.

Really great app. Works as expected with the remote and controls TVs, acs well. Good tech support Recently when I faced a problem Saurabh from the support team proactively helped me immediately for items purchased 2 years earlier. Delighted

Products are excellent.. Though I was unlucky to receive a manufacturing defective OakPlug plus (i bought 2 units, 1 is working perfectly), the customer care in Whatsapp - Ashish, Aakash & Saurabh were very prompt and immediately resolved the issue. The replacement product was dispatched in less than 12 hours. And is enroute. App was very simple to use with clear instructions. No difficulties at all. With good products and good customer service, I hope you grow more..

I have more than 20 smart home devices in my home of brands such as wipro, dlink, Alexa, Google, tinky and oakter. Wipro and tinky works better compared to oakter. In Alexa you command for any action for Oakter it takes upto 30 seconds to process and return and most of the time without any results. I think server capacity of oakter is at peak.

Kindly focus on connection issues device connect fail many times and wifi sync also not properly so long time they switch on and switch off can you plz improve this efficiency. Either we return this product.

I have been using the oakremote last 2 days. My basic idea was to avoid using multiple remotes. I have a TV with single HDMI port. But I have Apple TV, Chromecast, Tata sky setup box. So I use a HDMI switch with remote. I also have Atomberg fan with its own remote. The oakremote helped me to control all these devices with this app. The setup was super easy. Some minor glitches are there. I can live with them. Customer support is excellent. I got immediate response using WhatsApp chat.

Please don't buy this product.I had a very bad experience with the device.I purchased a device and it's earthing was not done . it was a faulty device and my electricity bill was so high i had to pay 4 times high bill. The company does not want to listen about the customer. please don't go for it

The app is as sophisticated as the devices themselves. I am completely satisfied with their customer service.

Excellent & exceptional support service. Can't be better.

It's great.. but need to add more customisations like increase/ decrease of bass, treble for speakers. Most of the devices with IR have a common on/off button; so in oakter using the 'on' button twice will switch off the device and likewise using the 'off' button twice will switch on the device. The developers need to debug that. Oakter should also add devices like smart switch boards that like of legrand smart switches. It's a must when we speak of home automations.

The app interface needs a lot of improvements. (A) Some features are strikingly missing: 1. No option to REMOVE a device, that has been out of use/damaged/replaced. 2. No option to set a device as the Default/ or re-order devices. There should be a MANAGE YOUR DEVICES Page allowing users to re-arrange/remove existing devices. (B) Custom remotes are pretty much useless, as the buttons are not "CLICKABLE" on Google Home or Alexa. That's quite a disappointment. This should be fixed immediately.

Full of bugs. When it works it's good. But the oakremote has to be manually restarted multiple times a day because it keeps disconnecting from the wifi and the blue light starts flashing. Totally fails the purpose if I have to get up and restart this device instead of getting up and turning on my other devices.

Great product. It does what it says. App interface is very good and easy to configure. The support is excellent.

Great product. The application wasn't tested with wide variety of devices and WiFi so you will definitely have issues in connecting to your home WiFi initially. But the customer support was able to resolve it in a day. 3* for the application. 5* for the product. 5* for the customer support. Update: 29th Feature requests: - Auto on feature - Current power consumption and history - AC/DC to DC/AC change event

Useless. Oakter used to be awesome. Indian products prove time and again that they can never be trusted. The most useful feature of "turn off/on" ONCE instead of everyday stopped working on the old app. So what did dev do? - REMOVED the feature. Now drag and drop of icons into the next page doesn't work. Sent us defective plugs multiple times in a row - first piece, gave off a burning smell; when asked for replacement, sent one which doesn't work with the physical switch quick on-quick off.

Have been using it for than 6 months but once every 2 weeks the connection breaks and it's difficult to re establish the connection... The app fails to respond in between

recently ordered oakter 16a plug, but it was too big size not fit into any switch board in my home, contacted with customer support through whatsapp , they processed for exchange with another small plug, had great experience with customer care team. nice product, thank you oakter team.

Oakter has a server problem every few days especially on the weekend. Where Nothing works oakter switches nor its remote everything just goes down I am using it since past 1 year and face this issue several times especially over Sundays.

I could set up my ac and get it working. Angad from the customer support helped me out to set up the ac for which he took a lot of trouble to find the correct remote.

Totally satisfied with the product. Initially had some problem configuring the device but the support team was Fabolous. Now it is working like a charm!!

The customer care service is absolutely fantastic. A special thank you to Mr shubham who went above and beyond to help me set it up . Great app and easy integration.

Build quality of oakter remote is good, app doesn't seems to be nice though. While trying to add any non voice based remote key like navigation it's picking wrong image and app looks like is not able to handle if same image is tried to be used more then once. Not able to add both volume or channel key with lot of other navigation key. App seems buggy.
