I have been using this app for years now. Over 2 different vehicle platforms. Using JSCAN on both of my Jeeps has been very helpful. Features can be unlocked, settings modified to your liking, makes troubleshooting complex issues easier, and always great technical support regarding use of the program. 10/10
I purchased a set of keys offline had them cut and program them myself with this app. Purchase new tires and recalibrated the system for the new tires shifting and speedometer or did on. I highly recommend this app oh, you will not be disappointed.
I was having problems connecting my BAFX adapter to my 2013 jeep JK via Bluetooth. Sent them a message on FB but the time zones didn't line up because they're in Europe and it's late over there. I was frustrated because I was able to get another app to work no problem and told them of my frustration. They walked me through it at 0130 AM their time. User error of course. This app, while a little confusing to find the adapter during start up, is far superior to the other app I used "OBD Mary.
I have a question for the dev. First great app. I have a 2006 jeep liberty,I bought it used and only got one remote head key and one transponder. I bought two remote head keys off line and want to program them, I know it says 2008 jeep in the selection but wondered if maybe it would work on mine,or if you know of one that will?
At last an affordable and comprehensive Jeep scanner. The only app I have found that detects and clears transfer case codes in my 07 Grand Cherokee, to re-enable the HI-Lo & Neutral selection after a voltage dip throws a code from the position sensor.
Must have app if you upgrade to LED headlights and need to turn off factory DRL's to get new lights working properly. Also allows programing of cheap chip keys with only 1 working key.
Needed to redo speedometer after getting larger tires. Works like a charm. Thank you!!!
I only gave 1 star because I'm hoping for a response. I purchased an OBDII to go with this app but I can't get it to connect. The OBDII is $12.99 on Amazon says it is a Bluetooth Scan tool for Android. Do I need a different OBDII and ,if so, which one?
Ok.. Totally worth the money! Dealer was gonna charge me $90 to adjust tire size setting..Plus making adjustments for led headlights..Not to mention all the other available options I still haven't figured out yet! Only thing I will say is I wish it was compatible with andriod auto as I have an Alpine ILX F 409 installed in my JKU...Otherwise, NICE JOB GUYS! BADASS APP!
App has been great so far. I just had my JK regeared & used the app to change to the new 4.56 gears however the process of doing so was different from instructions. When going into initialize EGS I didn't have to "active" or "deactivate'. Seemed like it did everything on its own. Not sure if it's the new version or not but updated instructions for others probably would be helpful.
TorquePro is way better. Ever module in Jscan says "module not installed" you can do a quick scan but thats about it. And seeing as how the "scan" take 0.5seconds, I imagine it's not doing anything.
LOVE it! Does everything I need it to. Easy & intuitive. Saved big bucks over all the flashcal & z-zuto stuff while retaining 95% of the functionality.
Purchased this app for my jeep, got a new phone and it would not allow me to use same vin on new phone and app. Made me purchase same VIN again, (but we'll worth the $30 again to have it) no answer from support. However I do give the app along with adapter a 5 🌟 as it does what is said it will do. I do push this app on all social media sites as it is a must have for jeep owners
I don't usually post review but this app deserves one. It allows you to change tire air pressure sensor and tire size/drive ratio settings to accommodate changes you've made to your vehicle. It also has tons of other options and modules that can be activated and deactivated through the app. If your not sure it will do what you need d/l it and browse the demo. It does require a OBD2 adapter, but they're inexpensive. 100% worth the price. A big thanks to the developers.
What a difference an app makes! I drive a 2011 JKU with 35 inch tires and a 3.5" dealer installed lift. Always wondered if the computer onboard the Jeep was updated after the lift, which I found out is was not via this app. Using a GPS to determine the actual speed, I found it was 4MPH too fast. I then adjusted the actual speed to be correct using the app. It is AMAZING what the change did by simply correcting for the 4MPH caused by the tire size. It is abundantly obvious that the (auto) transmission shifts when it should now as compared to not shifting as it should before. The Jeep runs so much smoother and fuel economy has improved. All the other app features are great, but I am so thrilled for this easy and quick adjustment.
Most user friendly programmer - a little buggy I would easily give this app 5 stars if it weren't so buggy. Had problems communicating with ECM using recommended iCar module. Communication tests fail. I have to delete app and reinstall after each use, then re-pair module. A little frustrating, but when working this app is absolutely amazing!! Adding presets such as economy, power, etc. would put the icing on the cake. Thank you to the developer for their work on this!
The Swiss knife of jeeps. This app is a must if you want to customise your jeep (which is the normally the purpose of owning a jeep). Tons of customization, many of them are advanced, many are useless (at least for me), but many are life saving like the automatic locking of the doors when the car moves which oddly is nit available as a normal option in my Jeep. Another must have option is the ability to adjust the tire size, which fixes the odometer but also the gears changing...
Has lots of features and works well. Connected easily to the obd tool I bought. My only issue is I use this to disable my traction control and ABS and it does that perfectly well but its temporary After a day or so it will re enable itself forcing me to pull over and re "kill" it. Great communication from dev, who told me it's set to go back to default after a few ignition cycles. Hopefully they'll add a feature to choose how many cycles before restoring to normal
This is an absolutely fantastic app! Using it on my Jeep Jk is so easy and so helpful.
Can't say enough about this app. Program keys, adjust speedo, adjust engine idle, is just the tip of the iceberg.
It is very nice to have an application work as advertised. From the very start it worked. Purchasing app was very easy and so was activating the license. Disconnect from any bluetooth devices and the obdII device will show up. No need to purchase a spendy device. I purchased a Veepeak unit for $11 and it worked first try to adjust settings for my 2016 Jeep Wrangler. Great product highly recommended.
People leaving a bad review does not know how powerful this app actually is, as a private use tool, or as a service tool when you own a service center. Fantastic work guys.
At first I had connectivity problems with my Bluetooth device I purchased. However after contacting the developer via Facebook messager, which responded within the hour, we got everything sorted out. The app in Canada cost 28$ per vehicle vin and the Bluetooth adapter was $38 CAN on amazon.ca. I must have saved over 200$ versus buying a flashcal. I mainly wanted to adjust tire size and after the adaptation there was a noticeable change in shift points. Well done guys and great customer support!
I changed my review because I got my license Working again. The issue I had was not being able to transfer the licence from my iOS purchase (sold the iPhone) to my new Android phone. What wasn't clear, is that the only way to do so is through Facebook (which I do not have) and not by reaching out to the developer through Play store, not by email. Other than that, the app rocks.
Buy the correct adapter & you'll be fine. I've had this app since its very beginning. There were bugs initially, like all things, but they've all been ironed out. I've got a 2008 JK & this has been a lifesaver. I've adjusted my gear ratio in my axles twice, wheel size, turned off TPMS, adjusted my DRLs & set voltage for my aftermarket lights, etc. I've had this app over 2 phones & 2 tablets. The license transfers over once you pair Bluetooth. I'd do it again. 5/5 stars.
Neat app, not usable for my Jeeps. I have two ZJs and a WJ. You guys have to make an option for the best GC ever (and the most popular run for jeep) 186k Grand Cherokees sold from 96-98. The interface won't be too complicated, as there were just enough electronics to make it comfy/more efficient... Without having to take a refresh course on new programming languages in order to change a tire. Thank you for working on the WJ part of the app. I can't find a scan tool with abs functions that work!
I downloaded this app because it is jeep specific and says can change programming and other great things that dont many other bluetooth scanners do, and it says that it supports jeep liberty's. I say to myself Awesome, well get it downloaded and find out that it doesn't support liberty's before 2008, instant disappointment. So now what, guess keep looking for an app that supports a 2004 jeep liberty and can do what this app does.
