Enter the hostname of the computer running OBS. This must be the local IP address (get using ipconfig from the command prompt).

This does work. You need to have OBS websockets plugin in OBS (free - do a Google). The plugin needs no setup. The app needs to know your computer ip address (that goes in the host name box) . If on Windows, open command prompt and type ipconfig, Google can help you. Once that's done put that address in the app and boom! You can now control OBS!
It is PURE TRASH! I wrote the right code and kept loading for hours don't install this app XRecorder is best I know how to do webcam on that super easy don't install this app XRecorder is best.it just waist storage on your device
Useless app. I entered the correct hostname and it kept loading and wouldn't open to the next stage. Do not waste your time downloading
This app is trash I have tried a million time and can never get it to pair. I ha e tried every form of an iP address and nothing g works.
Couldn't install it, because it doesn't recognize OBS.Live . Disappointing. UPDATE: Even with the websockets plugin, it still doesn't recognize OBS.Live. Still disappointing.
The plugin no longer detects that OBS 8n installed. App appears to need updating orbits reached end of life.
Last updated 5 years ago, and doesnt even connect. clearly its unsupported, don't waste your time.
It takes time for me to enter the host name..just buffering... please fix the problem if you want to get more download of your apps..

Don't waste your time. It is outdated. It doesn't connect with the latest versions of OBS.
Does not work. After entering ip address and connect, nothing happens. Nada tio.
Last update 2014... I try to install the plugin and shows an error on the computer... And the APP does nothing
The app will not let me use it whenever i insert my name into the OBS Host spot and click continue nothing happens
I have some error trying to enter my host name. When I click on connect it doesn't load.
I say OBS studio doesn't even support handphone and if there is a remote for obs it should be an announcement by the obs studio developer like streamlabs. (pls dont do app if its not true)
Does not work with latest obs studio. Has not updated the app in almost 6 yrs.

It doesn't work. It won't even tell you how to connect. I hope the developer will update this app soon.
It works well, hopefully next update there is deck mode.

I installed this app, it asking OBSHost what is it, I entered ipaddres but can't open😞
For the obsolete OBS Classic, not OBS Studio...
App is literal trash. Depreciated. The website is strangely still up and has a YouTube video showing to access the Plugins box on the face of OBS, right above the button labeled Exit. Thing is, the video is from Feb 2013. The Plugins box is extinct. I have searched high and low and cannot find any up to date version of this on the latest OBS. There are other ways to do what we want, I'm sure. Do not waste your time with this one. To the dev: Take this garbage down or update it.
