Used to be such a convenient and useful app but now it's causing so many problems that I can't use it. The one-click returns me on an endless loop without adding the items, I couldn't pay on the app (had to use the main website), I can no longer choose a delivery slot on the app. Have tried reinstalling it several times but no luck.
Absolutely Marvellous, this app is SOooooo easy to use, I can't believe it, the whole ordering process is a breeze, the booking is just as easy, I've used the coupons, just as easy, if only all apps where this user friendly, and as for the one-click, that is just the cherry on top of the icing, well and truly deserving of 5 stars.
After having a bad first experience with Ocado I've had to re-do my review since they rectified the problem & have been great ever since. First impressions do matter & mine wasn't a great one but I have to be fair in my reviews. I can honestly say that Ocado have gone above & beyond to make my future orders problem free. I never thought I'd use them again since my first order was a disaster but they've since proved they are up there with the best.
I find this app to be the best among other supermarket apps. I wish I could say the same about quality control. I've been a customer for many years and I can't deny that losing Waitrose for M&S isn't working qualitywise. I'm still shopping with Ocado (although less and less) mostly because of how conveniente is the app to use.
I have been with Ocado for 4 years and always had a good experience, even during initial lockdown. The app is easy to navigate, suggests good deals on my favourites, flash sales and easy to add to a running order.
The delivery charge shown on the slot is not the amount you are charged. Show the correct amount, don't make me tap all the slots to check... Also, having to contact support to cancel smart pass in 2022 is incredibly backward for a company that uses robots to pick and pack orders.
Why show unavailable items and remove them after I'm ready to check out? Wasted so much time. After checking out the unavailable items are removed. It's hard to remember all the items I need to replace.
I love ocado so much but your App and website are so frustrating. Everytime I try to paying the app it says there is an error. Every time I try to login viathe websit I get an error. Its causing me so much stress cause its nearly impossible to check out!
It's exactly what I need. Shopped on buses, trains & sitting in the park. Easy to navigate and to add things to a placed order. What I really like is being able to add items to my basket as I think of them during the week. Then there's the inevitable cull of course - but that's easy to do on Edit. 😄
If you use the regular weekly shop, Ocado endlessly deliver you things you didn't want. This is because it will delivera default suggested items list unless you amend it And the suggested items are ridiculous..order a real pineapple one hot week in summer? It will appear in your favourites and be delivered to you every week if you don't edit your basket. It's not possible to have a default list of items of your own for delivery.. you have to delete the ocado list and add your own every time.
UPDATE: app has worked for the last few months... But 2 of the last 3 deliveries missed their timeslots by about a half hour so we missed then when we had to go to work. UPDATE: Not working since last week. Won't let me log in. When I submit passwords it says "timed out due to inactivity'. Please fix or advise about the problem.
Getting a little fed up with the new "tap to shop" app notifications that cannot be disabled if you want the delivery notifications. Please implement android notification channels and separate essential delivery related notifications so that your customers can choose not to receive these irritating marketing notifications.
First class and easy to use. I been using this app for a long time and I think it's better now than ever before. My only trouble which is nothing but a good trouble is there's so much to choose from I spend ages deciding. Highly recommended online Grocery app/store.
Sorry but this app isn't nice to use, things seem all over the place. Prices are on the high end. I know prices are rising across-the-board. But app in my personal opinion needs work. Take a leaf off Tesco or Iceland.
The app works really well in general. My only recommendation would be to improve the search engine. You have to be too specific in your description to find what you are after or be prepared to scroll endlessly.
Brilliant way to shop! Always logged in, so very quick. I especially like the way you can click to add an item to an existing order without checking out of the order again.
Ridiculous!!! - At checkout ripping off for Alternative items 🤬 - No clear message to agree on those replacements nor way to cancel them - ordering in weekly advance does not guaranteed me my water being not out of stock 🤖😠 - even water with handle has been packed to plastic bag AND I have been charged for all 16 of them 🤬 - best before dates seems to be quite short + delivery driver called me if he can be earlier + Delivery driver offered/ agreed to bring the shopping up to my door.
The app is getting worse. If you try to add another of any item & it's out of stock for that delivery, the whole order can no longer be completed because it gets stuck in a message loop. Tried to resolve in a browser & despite making sure not to direct to the app, the search now opens the app by default so I can't even search anything for my orders using the search bar anymore. The only reason I kept the app this long (fully updated) is for the quick add function. Pls put that on the website.
Easy to navigate through, shows good results.. like the facility to edit the booked order while still keeping the cart intact

Excellent service. You very rarely get a substitution or anything missing, this is so unlike other supermarkets I have dealt with. Brilliant that you receive your shopping in bags, some supermarkets don't supply them at all. Because the bags are colour coordinated ie green for frozen and red for fridge items it makes it much quicker to put away your shopping.
Always great service but Ocado lately appears to be much more expensive than other supermarkets. I have been an only Ocado customer for years and I am a great fan. However, the prices in the last year have gone mad so I have been shopping around. If you compare for example with Asda you will find much lower prices. I thought Ocado had the "price match guarantee" but I think that is something of the past. Maybe Ocado pays suppliers and employees more than others. I think they need to explain it.
Much improved from a few years back and really simple for placing orders on the go.
Can no longer log in. Log in screen is blank. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. App basically now useless.
I keep seeing the word british but you can't always see the emblem this is a problem I refuse t buy anything that is british so if I receive anything with that on it I throw it out so I they want my custom they gave t shown it more clearly
We always end up with unwanted items which seem to appear every time we update our basket.
Excellent as always especially as told by health professionals to do on line shopping due to severe arthritis shopping is more enjoyable from chair and I know what I'm spending as I go so no shocks at the check out , will be renewing subscription when times ready, staff are always happy which helps my mental health. Easy to navigate and good subcategories. It remembers your favourites etc .
We love shopping with Ocado and glad to use the app compared to using the website on our computer. It's so much easier. I like the quick add to add to current order. The only problem is payment! Everything goes smoothly up to the point of card verification, then click on our verify method, the app goes into a loop 8/10 times! Get the code but can't input into app! Doesn't happen every time but it's annoying.
