App used to work really well. Was fast and easy to use. But recently it keeps crashing at different points of my transaction - loggin in, after logged in, and the worst was when I was transferring funds. I swipe to confirm transfer and app just stopped! And for a few times after!! Very frustrating.
I have no idea how many time I've seek help from OCBC through their messenger, regarding the app. It only works for 1 time and then the same thing happens again. It lags and hang in the same exact page. It has been a terrible experience ever since I updated their new software. Sadly, using website to open my ibanking is the only last option. But Website is kindda hassle as every time I have to manually type in, in order to login.
Used to be an great apps for all my banking needs. Until it did deduction even when I not holding at credit cards. Recently it is hard to get to the log in page. I had to try many times, sometimes I would deleted and reinstalled again before I could login. But then it happens again.
The app has slow down in processing speed compared to previously. There is always a prompt saying "We are experiencing dome issues, please try again". Wgat is this,? After closing it, it continues to work. OCBC responses to some improvement feedback were to resubmit feedback to Facebook. It doesn't show the seriousness and urgency of the bank.
The stability of this app never fails to disappoint. For the longest time the app keeps crashing and restarting. Have tried restarting phone, clearing data and cache, reinstalling the app, still doesnt work. There are no further system updates on my Huawei P30. Hope that ocbc will learn from the apps of other major banks like uob, dbs, amex and citi Bank, and sort out their system issues soon.
This is the worst online banking service I have ever encountered. Every single time I try to use it, it just shows your login details are incorrect. I reset everything, it still tells me my login details are incorrect. Trying to pay for something with my own money should not be so difficult. In the end, I have to physically withdraw cash from an ATM, bank in the cash to another bank, and use their online banking to complete my transaction.
After updating my phone software, I'm not able to open the app.. it took ages to open and will not open. Thinking something was wrong with the app, I Uninstall and reinstall and it's still the same. Seems like OCBC haven't released the latest update and I had to use another phone to make PayNow transfers but I'm not able to transfer account-to-account. I'm also not able to make payment via AXS app and required OTP from physical token which I don't have.
Very poor experience. App is not stable at all, crashes often and not able to log in. And no, I don't want to reinstall the app every time that happens, stop suggesting it and fix the root cause!
The app getting from bad to worst. It keep telling me to activate OneTouch when I have already activated it on my current phone. Every time I used the app, it tell me to activate, and then sometimes it prompt me that service is unavailable. Why do I have to do this every single time I used the app? The app did not work.
Take so long just to load the log in page.😡 Cant even log in to both app. Once log in whole page cant load and get stuck on the notice page.😡 Install and uninstall so many times still wont work. Please do something about it. 😡
The app is not working after update. After I log in, it opens into a screen to upload QR code for PayNow or Nets. Unfortunately I am unable to close the screen in order to access my bank accounts. I see the X button on the top right corner of the screen but it does not close after I tap on it. I am using an Android mobile. Thanks for the advice to reduce the font size. It works now.
Does this app no longer work on android phone? I have constantly restart my mobile phone everytime I want to access my ocbc app. If not, I have wait for a long time for the app to bring me to the login page, most times not at all. Update: I have updated and reinstalled app. Updated my OSas well. Same issue.
keeps getting stuck at the loading page. all i wanna do is see my bank balance??? it used to be as simple as a fingerprint login, in 20s and job done but now it's been 20 mins stuck in white loading page, internet banking on browser requires authentication from this stupid app but it keeps saying "ocbc digibank app not responding", considering to change bank altogether.
This is a terrible and unusable app. I am constantly being kicked out of the apps and forced to re-enter details multiple times. Almost everytime, I am even forced to switch to the Internet banking site to perform transaction. I have had enough and will be switching to another bank due to the health risk (high blood pressure) from using this mobile application. The measures and safety features the bank put in place is unbearable and unacceptable since the OCBC scam scandals has come to light.
Same issue.. could not log into app after I reinstall.. keep stuck at loading page... It could be my phone model is too old. Was using my spare phone Samsung S7 Edge. After I replaced back to Samsung z fold 3 the apps seems to work fine now. However that being said Samsung S7 Edge is old but still on 4G tech. The developer should ensure that such app are still compatible to older models.
Terrible. Doesn't work (I assume it auto-updated), all the buttons that just loads but nothing pops up for you to log in. Already redownloaded but still no use. Apart from this particular incident, the app is also always terribly buggy and laggy. Takes me 5-10min to see my transactions.
Couldn't sign in at all for this app and OCBC Payanyone. Stuck at white loading page for this app while OCBC Payanyone just exits the app 10 secs aft I open it. It seems to be an android problem and my OCBC app on iPhone is working fine. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP. It seems like there's other android users facing the same issue as well. Also I've already tried clearing data, cache, restarting device, deleting app and reinstalling but to NO AVAIL. Please solve this issue from your backend. Thank you.
We get that you lost a lot of money due to clients falling for scams, but the anti-scam pop up is onerous, do we have to scroll down and click through every time? This can be made more efficient like other bank platforms. Also, I can't find the EasyQ service on the app; please update either the FAQ or mobile app so they are in line.
App cannot be opened half of the time. Cannot be opened many times so Uninstall and install again. Half of the times, the ocbc app cannot be opened. I don't have this problem with other banks app. I tried ocbc's advice of restarting phone, clearing the data and cache in the app, uninstall the app and reinstall the ocbc app. Restart the phone. Does not work. I still cannot open the ocbc app more than half of the time. I use Samsung Galaxy S20 FE phone bought last yr. 😞
App doesnt work on slightly older android phones. Customer service helpline is not helpful at all, been having conversations with them multiple times and no useful solutions have been provided. Extremely disappointed with OCBC.
This app is really very bad. Can't log in most of the time. Reinstalled and even restarted phone, doesnt work. Its the most difficult bank app to use so far. If you can, do not open an account with ocbc
Ever since before 1 feb 2022 the apps couldnt stablise n keep still to allow log in. Have to collapse the apps n bring it up after a while then it can work normally. Despite all the apps updates this problem persisted. No other apps on my device faced this problem...guess i really have to switch bank before some scammers volunteer to help resolve my problem!!
unable to get pass the "OCBC Digital" logo screen. Xiaomi 12 Pro have checked Permissions and enabled just about all the possible options, but without any kind of error messages it is difficult to troubleshoot the real cause
Transferring money is such a frustrating experience, doesnt tell me what my daily limit is, neither is there an option for me to change the limit on the app. And if the option is available, it is not intuitively placed
extremely buggy, 9/10 times it crashes before completing my task. it has been like this for a few months. have done the whole reinstall, clearing cache shenanigans. update on 12th Feb: followed instructions, app only worked once before resuming its crashing fun. support has been extremely poor, have been unable to transfer money the past few weeks. embarrassing.
OCBC had fixed some of the 'bugs' where it's app got messed up by Android 12 update. It locked me out unable to access or use app. It's working now but not as good as it was bfor. I can still reach the app in roundabout way ie. have to 'force stop' (under Setting > APP> OCBC Dig) then return to app...and only then can the app be opened. A little laggy BUT can't complain...at least now I can get to use this app and PayAnyone after abt 60days of no access. 😅👌🏻😅👌🏻😅
Lately, the OCBC app & online banking has become increasingly tedious to use! To start there's constant pop ups of scam notices that one has to agree to. This happens every time you log in or do a transaction. Feels spamming to me. Have regressed 10 years back, forcing again OTPs for every single move done on the app. Even when one logs in using the pin, not just finger print. Requiring the token pin for a number of transactions. Even to reduce fraud, It's too much. I'll use DBS going forward.
