I don't usual buy games. I just gave chapter one a try and fell in love with the graphics. I purchased the game on the same day. Lovely graphics. Lovely story line. The game exits sometimes automatically from the loading screen. I don't know whether it happens due to some network issue or issue with the game. Other than this there are no complaints with this game. It's simply amazing. Also the in game puzzles are cool. Loved the game. Thanks Dev.

I absolutely love this game. The pacing is good so a beginner can grasp all the concepts. It gets harder as you progress so your skills continually gets a workout. Plus there are helpful signs and NPCs who give valuable tips. Some of the puzzles were so frustrating that when I finally solved them I felt a major sense of achievement. I'm now just waiting for a sequel or something similar. Thanks to FDG for a wonderful game 👍👍👍

Wow, this game makes me very nostalgic for a certain Nintendo title. What an excellent adventure. I love the theme of the graphics, the story progression, the voice overs... The only thing I would change if I could would be the ability to rotate the camera and zoom in it out if possible. This game is work every penny. Keep up the good work, this game has convinced me to explore these developer's other titles.

A really great classic gameplay. I love that you will not be told about every moves, but instead solve the riddles on your own. Some puzzles are simple but some are quite challenging, which makes the gameplay even more fun. I wish more Android games offer this kind of offline gameplay. I don't mind spending money to buy those games as long as I can enjoy a true adventure.

Game itself is great. Gameplay is fluid and controls are easy. Only issue, I'm currently on the floating island trying to get the key in the chest inside the Grand masters house. I've lit the torches and the chest fell, but then it disappeared. I have managed to make it fall three times and each time it's disappeared again making it impossible to get the key to further to story. I don't know if it's a bug or what, but I can't continue the game without that key

It's visuals are stunning, gameplay fluid and there's no lag on the Android version which is quite surprising. Some people might be put off that it has the same game mechanics as the Legend of Zelda series, but it shines in its own way as well. new update it now fills the whole screen on my Android tablet, shadows seem to be much improved, the controller seems to respond a little smoother, and you did all this while making the frame rate smoother too! Nice work guys :-)

The game is not without its flaws, but for what it's worth, it ticks many of the boxes we have come to expect from Zelda games. Good puzzles, challenging bosses, heavy reliance on the items you collect. It's all there. The spells felt a bit bland, and I had hoped there would be ship battles, but for the price you can't complain. I just wished it did more to distance itself from the series that clearly inspired it.

The push action buttons were easy to operate except the free movement slide and the boat camera. The movement slide was the most horrible and disgusting to operate. It ruined most of the gameplay and story by not able move the character at random moments, randomly moves by itself, slows the character whenever you need to move quickly, and not moving at the right direction. The gameplay was tolerable where a few fixes need here and there. Otherwise the graphics and story is satisfying to play.

This game is really reminds me of zelda, and the graphics are cute and colorful vibrant, plus the music sounds on the game is very relaxing, gameplay wise, but sometimes it is very hard for me to move the character, virtual joystick would help though. One question: if I buy the full game, I can always install and uninstall it anytime? Without needing to buy it all over again devs??? It is one time purchase for the full game??? 🤔🤔

Its very much like playing zelda. The puzzles, the lore, the items, the spells, and even the travel experience is all amazing. Interactions with other npcs and items are spot on. ive played it all the way through still have some things to collect. this game has amazing graphics compared to other games. dirt from explosions tiny leaves from slashed grass. im really impressed with this game and hope for maybe a number two. ty

I am totally amazed by the quality of this game. It is perfect in every ways from the graphics to sounds to the gameplay to the controls to the storyline. It should be the editors choice game if it hasn't been already. Truly a remarkable game !!!!!!!!! I am so hooked!!!!! A big thank you to the producing and creative team.

Well, clearly inspired by Nintendo Legend of Zelda franchise from Nintendo DS and Super Nintendo, the game is good. Worth the price and the time. There are a few flaws in the map that makes the 100% completion very disappointing. The narrative is vague, which requires lots of research when something is to be found. The game itself is not that challenging. The art is beautiful, the soundtrack is nice and the gameplay is good for a smartphone.

+ Pretty graphics - Weird camera - Weird controls I could only play this game for less than five minutes because the camera's point of view that you've chosen is very weird and makes me dizzy. The controls are not well implemented. The sliding anywhere mechanic feels very weird and makes the character's walking feel even slower, like you're literally dragging him around. It really wasn't enjoyable. On the up side, the graphics are nice.

This is by far the best mobile game I've ever played. Well worth the $5.49, and then some. Runs smooth, great story and execution, very satisfying puzzles and map layouts to explore. Graphics look amazing. People who give this low ratings are just too cheap to support an awesome game developer, and crying that the full version isn't free. I really respect the developer for having zero ads and keeping the game clean and professional, and I'm more than happy to pay for the better experience.

You explore islands where you fight monsters and solve puzzles. Along the way you collect health and spells. The graphics are good but the music can get a little annoying. I played all the way to the end but got stuck on the final boss, but that's mostly because I'm bad at aiming with touch controls. But the game was still a lot of fun and worth the money.

Buggy. Love the game overall. Right now I'm having an issue with a spell that is necessary to complete a puzzle. I've put 14hrs in and this is a barrier to continue. Very frustrating. It needs to send a heavy object to activate, and it just keeps sending light things. Give me a Rock! It used to only do rocks. I miss those days.

I like the game but only giving a 4 for the slide feature. Doesn't work well, slows down. Also wanted to point out that I was asked to verify my purchase when I resumed my original saved game and could not continue. I was asked to repurchase the game (I see other people also had this problem). To fix it I had to uninstall and re-install the game.

*THE GAME IS NOT FREE* This game itself is Okay, nothing different from what we experienced in Legend of Zelda games and they didn't even bother making it any better from them, Story is confusing and the world design is good but the minimap isn't that helpful and it's easy to get lost also the pace is slow, graphics are beautiful and so is the music and there is some voice acting, the free demo is ridiculously short to persaude someone on buying the game for 100 pounds yet overpriced.

The game itself is great, You have to have a phone with high Ram but its so awesome if you can get it. It gives me a Zelda vibe but it also is its own thing. It has its own characters and universe that I found myself immersed into immediately. There is one part I find VERY STUPID THOUGH. At one point you have to collect things for the old man and 3/4 things that he wants are on the same island and the last one you have to go ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE MAP!! Honestly lost respect for the game there..

Overall-awesome, but... I accidentally broke the game & apparently will have to start 8 hour journey all over. The situation: the underwater palace hall, where the player is supposed to open 3 locks on a bridge. I did open one of them, but I used one of the keys to open a door at the other end of the map (weird, I know). Now I have no chance to obtain Trencher Boots (an important quest item). What I wanted to say is: make it possible to move between/save by chapters or sth!

Oceanhorn is a really good alternative to Zelda. My only complaints are the controls and the storyline. The controls can be laggy, and the story is just...well, typical. A father goes off on an adventure, doesn't come back, has a young boy go try to find him, conviently the bad guys find him. It's nice, but could use more drama, action, and intrigue. Overall, good game but there are some things that should be tweaked.

Nice graphics and game story. One thing that I don't like is that the characters slows down his movement when using ramps or stairs. It would be best if he can move fast while using stairs or ramps.

After completing the free island you are prompted to buy the game and clicking this option in game displays a google acceptance prompt, but it does not show you the price, so no way am I agreeing to purchase the game. I can't believe google don't insist on a price being provided that it then displays on the acceptance.

Well, I won't be able to finish. Some of the battles I'll never be able to win. Really liked the exploring and lesser fights but ill never be able to go rounds. Great game for some though!

This game is a simplified yet also unique take on 'The Legend of Zelda' series. The demo was rather fitting for an intro/trial, but was literally only less than a quarter of the full experience of the game. The puzzles are more quizzical and challenging—something that you'd expect from 'God of War' or even 'Darksiders' series. On the other hand, the boss fights, including the items that you will receive, have given some justice to the price of the game when paid in full. TLDR: It's a great game!

Surprisingly fun game. Easily 10-20 hours of game play if you try to 100% it without looking everything up. Would be nice if it didn't require network connectivity to verify full purchase, but as long as you don't close the app afterwards, you can continue playing in airplane mode.
