How Ochsner Anywhere Care Works
This service allows you to establish an instant connection to a healthcare provider with your smartphone, tablet or personal computer. It’s as easy as:
1. Downloading and signing up
2. Selecting a provider and talking to a medical professional face to face
3. Enjoy free prescription delivery to your home or office
Your doctor will listen to your concerns, ask you questions and give you a diagnosis and treatment plan. The whole process typically takes ten minutes or less.

Each online visit costs just $49. Plus, there are no monthly or annual fees. At the moment, insurance does not cover the cost of An Ochsner Anywhere Care appointment. Payment with a credit or debit card is due upfront.

Definitely a useful tool to have. Sometimes has issues with being transferred to several different providers without being seen, or video freezing and not returning, but definitely always better than doing nothing when it comes to urgent care and being seen by a medical professional.
It doesn't connect to the main Ochsner portal, so you have to enter all your insurance info + meds again and you're unable to see or talk with doctors through MyChart. It only lets you have 1 insurance so you're sol if you have secondary. The message part doesn't work. I tried to send the doctor I saw a message with a question and it gives me a dead screen. All the doctors have been nice though. There's usually only one option to choose from but at least it's there.
Quite a leap in technology. Scheduled for my teen this morning and saw an excellent provider in less than 15 minutes. The user interface was awesome and the cost was great. I definitely recommend the app!
Extremely pleased with this app, they're real doctors that actually take time with you just like you are standing in front of them in the office and I thought I would be uncomfortable but it was quite the opposite, I would rather use this app than go to the actual office.

This is a great option but..... they need more doctors available. I actually didn't have to wait long, seeing that they only had one doctor online but just in case they did have multiple calls I would really have wanted another doctor available. Other than that, it's a pretty cool app.

I was extremely satisfied with the counseling that I received tonight. The picture was very clear and the sound was clear as well. We only lost connection once, no internet service.
OMG I love this app..1st time user 4/2/2022. Very decent experience..call was crystal clear and nurse practitioner was great. I would of had to go to a long wait at the ER if this app wasn't available.
Very convenient to install app and very professional caring service. Actually better than driving to a medical center especially when I am feeling weak and not well.
Terrible.....took forever then they called in a sauve that cost 280.00 plus it wasn't even the correct medication was on the phone trying to get it straightened out for over 3 hours on hold now it's the next day and they still haven't gotten it straightened out after they promised. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
I've used this so many times. These doctors truly care and are always so polite. They're knowledge and helpful and have been a godsend for affordable Healthcare
I sat up at 3 am waiting 2 hrs to be seen, I finally get to 3rd person in line from 37 and it kicks me off. Also either the provider needs to log off the correct way or IT needs to make it show the provider is offline. This is a great app but this is ridiculous.
Would like to give 4 1/2 stars. My reason for not giving five is that it kept dropping internet connection while I was setting up my profile. The video conference quality was quite good though, no issues there.
Extremely Convenient! Took a little long to start 1st visit (+10 min) so canceled but when restarted 2nd visit, didn't have to reenter info and met with provider quickly.
I have no insurance so seeing a doctor for just $10 was extremely helpful to me. I saw Dr. Lin Lin and she was absolutely amazing, very kind and patient. I highly recommend and will be returning for future visits!
Its perfect,it helps a lot like me that is sick and have three kids and cant go easily to the doctor's office for an appointment especially on this trying times of pandemic.
Great experience. Wait wasnt too bad. Cost without insurance couldn't have been better. And I did it sitting on my couch while feeling like absolute hell.
Always a short wait, the nurses and physicians are exceptionally kind and professional, and being able to receive care from ANYWHERE is fantastic! I love everything about this.
Y'all need to get it together the simple fact that it constantly has issues with my email is ridiculous I have to call yet again to fix the issue for it to got back to how it was again.

Used this app twice already. The wait was a little long. But, it was expected, given everything that's going on. Great experience! Rx called into my pharmacy!

Wait times are relatively moderate, intake process is easy and staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They offer urgent care and behavioral health treatment.
This was my very first time using this app I really love it it's was fast in the Doctor was very nice and she asked more questions than they do in person I was very pleased ❤️
Its gotten better since the last time I used the app. If an appointment doesn't go through you don't have to retype. Two weeks ago that wasnt the case.
Not everyone has WiFi.... Please make it where I can virtual visit without WIFI!... Some of us have a really good carrier signal
I needed to speak to someone about aftercare after my surgery. The practitioner was very knowledgeable and reassuring. She gave great advise on how to clean and care for my wound that my doctors failed to give, and pain management without the narcotics that causes withdrawal symptoms. I finally have some peace of mind after my surgery.
