OCR Quickly - Text Scanner
The Tesseract engine was originally developed as proprietary software at Hewlett Packard labs in Bristol, England and Greeley, Colorado between 1985 and 1994, with some more changes made in 1996 to port to Windows, and some migration from C to C++ in 1998. A lot of the code was written in C, and then some more was written in C++. Since then all the code has been converted to at least compile with a C++ compiler. Very little work was done in the following decade. It was then released as open source in 2005 by Hewlett Packard and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Tesseract development has been sponsored by Google since 2006.

From what I gathered it seems like a good useful app and works good so far but i hadn't got to try it out fully and it was already asking me to rate it B4 I could get any deeper into it and that would be my only complaint.

Very Good concept with regular expression matching. Keep up good work. Btw, text detection is not accurately. Can't copy or save text (need addition app).
It seems to work Ok. I can't scan a page in portrait as my Samsung S6 must be rotated to take an image that the app can scan. Fix this and it will get at leat 4 stars.
Its good but crashing when I am trying to select Hindi language and scan the image in Asus Zenfone 2 Laser. Kindly fix this issue, then I will give the five star.

Didn't work for plain black text on white background with nothing else in the frame. The results were not even close. Just came back with a bunch of nonsense symbols, letters and numbers as if I had opened an image file in notepad. I even confirmed in the settings that I had the correct language and recognition format selected. Hope this helps the dev fix it. Otherwise it's will designed aesthetically.
Little to no help with this app.
Not allowing to copy the text... I mean heavy app and at last it's the useless stuff again. Also stopped unfortunately frequently
