This app is fantastic! much more faster and responsive than using the desktop interface. It connects instantly I haven't even used the web interface ever since downloading this. It's much more convenient having the ability to control the printer from the palm of my hands. I wish they would release this on the apple store.

Very convenient way to control the printer. Would be awesome if they could update to be able to control completely remotely without having to be on the same network **Edit. Premium service offered but can also set up port forwarding if you decide. Premium service is more secure. Changed to 5 stars from 4.

Fantastic app for managing Octoprint instances! I've been using it to manage a mini cluster of printers, and it has been an awesome experience. The GCode previewing feature works really well. Being able to write custom macros is so cool! The custom macros could benefit from a little documentation, however, but everything else about the app feels really intuitive and self-explainatory. Thanks, OctoRemote!

I think the star rating from everyone says it all. Since I've found out about this app, there is no reason to use the web interface as I was doing in the past. Very snappy response time as well. Currently using the app on an S9 and a pie zero w, and honestly it's an incredibly smooth experience that really doesn't leave much room for improvement. Many give the zero w, a bad wrap due to the processing speed, but personally, I feel that they haven't tried it with OctoRemote

This app is great! Its not weighed down with ads or please rate me popups. It works great and has a nice feature set. My only suggestions would be: 1. Add the ability to disable the downloading of files to the phone. For some reason i always seem to end up downloading a gcode or two while scrolling through the app, and i do not have that same issue with other apps that i have tried. 2. Ability to set notification sounds when the print is done/encountered an issue/etc.

Great app for checking in on your printer when you can't physically see it. I have smoke and fire protection specifically for my printer, but I still don't like to leave it running unattended. So, when I have to step away for a few minutes, I use OctoRemote. I mainly use it for the webcam function, but it's also nice to have access to the entire OctoPrint API. The app is stable, laid out well, works great on my OnePlus 7T, and is maintained frequently. Recommended!

From the few apps I tried to connect my phone to Octoprint, this one definitely strikes closest to the original octoprint UI design. Everything that I would use on the desktop version is included in the app. Very clean and stable design. One thing I do wish to see is an option to turn on a push notification when the printer is done with printing (if it isn't already implemented at least)

I absolutely LOVE this app. It's the EXACT same UI as the Browser site and it works FLAWLESSLY. I don't use a lot of the available functions and features due to one if not both of these reasons: not needing them or lack of knowledge. The ONLY time I have to restart the app is when I come back to it hours or more later I can't refresh files with the in app refresh button but as soon as I close the app in the background and reopen it, it's back to regular operation! Great work!

Beautifully designed app. Could not look any better. All the controls work, although initially I could not get the camera feed to work. After fiddling around though, I got it to show. Information also sometimes does not update immediately, but will update with refresh. Overall a very good app. I would definitely recommend it.

Great app! I wasn't very quick to use it after setting up OctoPrint on my printer becsuse I didn't think it would have all the features of the web interface, but everything is here except the full settings menu which I don't need to mess with that much anyways. There are even widgets for printer status and a webcam feed.

Great app for managing prints remotely. The one thing I would consider adding is confirmation dialogs on activities that could interrupt a print such as cancel and pause buttons. The video stream can also be a bit buggy at times requiring use of full screen feature and even that can cause app to act a bit quirky. Another plus would be ability to add additional video steams so we can view prints at different angles.

It works, mostly. OctoPrint is an excellent program/server, but the app could really use some work. It will often download the currently loaded gcode file to my phone for no apparent reason. It also shows persistent error messages if you use an operator API key (opposed to one generated by an Admin account). I often find myself accessing OctoPrint from the web browser. The experience is better and I have access to all of my plug-ins.

I do not rate much, but I will rate this. This app is brilliant and perfectly emulates all needed parts of the Octoprint internet interface. I use this alongside a ngrok tunnel so I can keep an eye on my prints (and pause, start, cancel, etc) from wherever. Gives SUCH peace of mind. Good on y'all for making this brilliant app..the experience is so smooth and even my picky self hasn't found any annoying bits yet!

Works well for the most part but far too many big easy to push buttons that might ruin a print in the middle. I'm scared to test which actually work but the disconnect, control (axis movements), time lapse settings, and other buttons/controls all seem to be active and are large buttons in the interface. Works well overall but I'm scared to even use the app if I have a print (esp a long one) going already.

Super useful app, it makes 3d printing much easier. The official interface is good, but this app just makes it so much better. It's easy to use and works well. I've just had a slight issue when stats just stopped updating and I had to restart the app. Other than that, I don't see any problems

I'll start off by saying this has revolutionised the way I can use my printer! I have only used this for a little over a month, bit have gone through 3kg of filament in that time, and have had no issues yet. The app has good functionality from the go but also supports custom form and buttons which you can also download straight from your online octoprint if you already have custom code. Coupled with octoprint plugins from my PC I now have easy full and custom control over my 3D printing.

Pretty darn good app. I can't understand why I didn't look for anything like this sooner. Provides most of functionality and does it flawlessly without crashing. I would like to see plugin integration in future. I've got little light I can switch on and off using octoprint on rpi so I can see print in dark garage. Could do with this functionality in this app. Ether way. Fantastic job to developers.

I have been loading OctoPrint web interface on my cell phone. Sometimes takes time, sometimes it lags. OctoRemote is quick and responsive. It has the same feeling and arrangement as the vanilla OctoPrint web interface, so you got up to speed in no time. Only trade off is the lack of pluggins installed on OctoPrint. But I am happy with OctoRemote as it help me keep an eye on the 3D printer while I am about the house.

like a complete idiot I've been using the octopi webpage on my phone and it's only just occurred that there's probably an app for that.. this was the first one I've tried and I'm completely blown away by how good it is! it has everything you need to control octoprint, is laid out impressively well and works extremely well. it covers concerns for mobile data and even had light/dark customisation... and this is free?? TOP WORK! 😁

I have problem with video streming. When I press play everything else freezes for a while. After switching off I need to restart whole app to preview a stream (and whole problem repeats). Beside that aplications is usefull, i was able to print again existing gcode. Also controling my printer via app os more convenient than doing it viabprinter touchscreen.

It just... Works. The octoprint API is solid and probably deserves some credit but this is a great addition. Takes seconds to check in on a print while out with the kid in the pool or in the middle of the night. If I see spaghetti I can cancel the print and raise the hot end directly from my phone then fall back asleep to dream of better days. Upon waking I can then restart the print with the same results then finally head back to the slicer to figure out what stupid setting I had enabled.

I run Klipper on my rig, meaning no internal UI. That's where OctoPrint running on an Android bTV box converted over to Linux. But I still need a convenient UI, ideally with touch support, so I can use a gammy old tablet as a control panel. That's where OctoRemote comes into play. It does everything I want, and nothing I don't.

A must-have for any octoprint installation! It's obvious the developers have paid carefully attention to detail and the functional work flows that the user would normally go through on the full website. A few buggy niggles here and there (like webcam integration that often takes a few hits of the play button to get started) bug otherwise fantastic user experience.
