Barely get the job done. This app has so many broken parts that one would think that it was made by a student. The UI is really confusing and constantly changing at each update (making it really hard to find what we want), the wishlist can't be found anywhere, the search bar is broken... I'm not paid to debug it so I will stop there.

I have the quest 2 and love it paired with the app I can remote download games, check the daily sales, and cast to my phone to show family my gameplay. the only thing that bothers me is that a lot of the time I try to cast and it'll bug out once it got bad enough that I couldn't stop the stream and I was stuck on a black screen but that rarely happens and it could have been a wifi connection glitch other than that as long as they don't change the name to the meta quest app Its well rounded.

Great app. It could benefit greatly from having a function where you can control the headset from it. When introducing people to VR, it would help if I was able to start the video for them or atleast navigate the main menu as they're new to the controls and don't know what to do. Explaning how to do this can be a hard task especially to someone who is new to the concept of VR.

It works, buts it's annoying. Everytime I log into the app something freezes up. Wheter that be the menu, the store, the gallery, anything you can think of it will just freeze for absolutely no reason leaving you unable to do anything until it fixes itself or you uninstall it. Another thing, when adding a payment method it is a nightmare. You try to type in a credit card, and 99% of the time it never works no matter who you contact Meta or the card company. But it is easy to use and does stuff.

While mostly happy with the app, there are a few really madenning bugs. Firstly, I seem only able to connect to my headset once, and then need to reset the app to connect to the headset anytime after that. Notifications pop up often, but when clicked take me to the apps homepage rather than the game they're trying to push my way. Many apps don't show up when searching, unless one is absolutely specific. So... It's not great ATM, but I hope it will be improved swiftly.

I basically use it only to cast the Oculus. As an app itself, it's really bad quality and has visible bugs. Example: when it gives a notification of a new achievement and you click on it, you get brought to an empty screen. I wonder if they ever tested it.

The syncing work only ok, but viewing the actual photos is impossible. Why do you need to exit the photo to look at others when you could just swipe. Also no option to zoom in. Besides there is no button to download them or in 14 days they will just dissapear. I know these are just minor things but i want to actually look at the pictures i take, othervise whats the point of even taking them. 😡

Do not buy an oculus quest or quest 2. I'm only going through this process for a work-related project and it's an absolute pain in the neck to do anything. These things are locked down worse than an apple device and it's a miracle if the stupid thing even pairs to the app (which is an arbitrary requirement in the first place). App won't pair to device and can never find any headsets, it just keeps scanning forever.

I love how much you can do and see from the mobile app while the headset is off. Many people find that it is alot easier to download games and adjust settings from the mobile app rather than the headset which is very helpful. I think that the developers did a great job personalizing the ads to help you find games you enjoy. Many Oculus players agree that it is very easy to use the app. Great job developers you guys deserve more credit for how hard you work.

The app works really well. Especially on Android. My only real complaint would be that when casting to a TV via Google Chromecast, it works very well when it casts. But it will lost connection on my device and say casting has ended. However I'm still able to see the cast on the TV. If I tell it to retry to connect, it will completely cut off cast and I have to reboot my Oculus to get it to work again.

Needs lots of improvement! Not sure why my first review was deleted? But amazing potential and already great work. I defenitly need a pro version of Ocolus with full focus adjust! Wish it would have a function to stream your phone to the headset, same as possible with your PC screen

Great system to have everybody should have one I suggest zenith for a first game to buy for the quest 2. Race games are also cool on the quest too they have snowboarding and so many more other games adventure is the greatest the reality and the quest is most exceptional review the background all life like. The the zenith came for the quest too is also really life like you get different classes healing classes mages it is a great game to buy you meet new people and see new things . Great fun!!

Syncing/sharing doesn't work like it should so I am unable to share anything I have saved via any app. This ruins the system for me completely and returning the system is not an option. Very unhappy with my purchase and the lack of support offered, I would highly suggest others not waste their money on buying the Oculus Quest 2.

Worst app ever... Because most of the time I can't cast to my phone can't connect to my headset. I tried all the troubleshooting and still the app works from time to time when ever it decides... And if by miracle connects its just black screen....

It was fine until the most recent update. It removed my payment method and won't let me add it back. So I guess I can't buy anything else in the store. Hopefully another update comes out soon that fixes this problem. Update: The payment problem was fixed at some point.

Would have given this 4-5 stars if it wasn't for two things. 1. You can't reset your login pattern without knowing it first. So basically if you forget the pattern, you have to reformat your oculus headset, which means all your saves (WHICH AREN'T SAVED IN THE CLOUD!?!?) get deleted. 2. You HAVE TO use a Facebook account. So if your facebook account get's banned. Which can happen for amy number of dumb reasons, for example changing your username. Well then, all of your Oculus games are gone.

Ok, well most of my issues with the app have been fixed, but now, when images are synced onto the app, some of them show up in the preview, but then when I actually tap on them to view them, I see nothing.

I've had the worst customer service experience. I've been asking for weeks now to speak with a supervisor, and I still haven't been put in touch with someone. Nothing works like it's supposed to. I bought this headset to do work in the metaverse and for some reason I can't get in. They can't figure out the problem. That's after a bunch of other issues previously. They ended up just leaving me hanging and stopped responding to my emails. I guess they just don't want my business

Cannot find the meta quest 2 device. Guide to pair it with Android is worthless. Most of the time it goes into an infinite loop saying pairing. The help on the support page is worthless. Worthless, worthless worthless POS.

This is an app that has made me both happy and extremely angry throughout my time of using it. I bought a new controller because it was having issues where it was turning off repeatedly while using it. That in itself is fine, it's over a year old now and it's having it's issues... ...however. Your app has tutorials online for how to pair devices, yes, but obviously, there is either something wrong with the app or the tutorial. The app will not pair or unpair my controllers, which is the issue.

All Meta's instructions on how to remove a pattern through the app don't work & the only option is a factory reset (loses save games unless you link to a computer, but who knows if that will work when every other "solution" hasn't?) They've known about this issue for over a year with no resolution. Support parroted the FAQ, then gave me instructions for a menu that didn't exist. Meta can't handle this very basic functionality, yet wants me to drop $800+ on a Cambria? Not a chance.

Ok, the last update seems to have fixed these issues, so it can go back to 4 stars. What on earth is going on with this app (android version) the wish list is gone, or at least not where it used to be, and I just tried to search for an app, search brings up a list of previous searches, but no way to type in a new search, please fix.

Wanted to see my Oculus Move data. It displays completely wrong, is slow and a pain to navigate in the app. If only they put as much attention into basic functionality as they did the store 😓
