Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee

I love this games, it's kinda action 3d platform games with puzzle element, yeah, the controls can be tiresome and frustrating, and some level like loading dock or familiar level will be frustrating. And I'm not mad, it's kinda doing try like in the class, or something can be worse. It's originally on xbox as exclusive, port to gba, which portable games was watered down vers, and now on mobile, switch, and hd. And i love this games. Thought this game it can be frustrating. Great games overalls.

It's a pretty good port of the game! I'll admit it's not perfect. It's got some minor audio issues (though that could be attributed to my cheap wireless headphones) and the controls take some getting used to, but hey it's Oddworld Munches Odyssey for Android! If you played this game on the original Xbox and loved it then you'll enjoy this as well.

Brings back memories. Nostalgia hits you hard. I would say the controls are a bit more complex then the original xbox. Highly recommended for players who prefer mobile games or are more advanced players who want a challenge with the controls. I Prefer xbox version, but I like a challenge. Saves like the original. Better graphics. Increase or decrease Abe or munchs walking or running speeds. Dim or brighten the screen. Check Quarma. Basically everything. I love it. Thanks Oddworld Inhabitants

took me on a trip down memory lane which i enjoyed thoroughly. it was an amazing game first time around but equally as enjoyable a second time. controls are a little frustrating at times but that's the same to be said about any mobile phone game its just the nature of touch screen its never gonna be as it is with a proper controller however its not so annoying as to spoil the fun & gameplay. I can't rate this game enough. download it & enjoy it be that for the first time or 2nd time around. 🙂

Cool nostalgia trip. Used to play this on PC in the 90's and it it's perfectly faithful to the original game. But mobile games are usually autosave. NOT THIS ONE. Save manually on the menu, or like me you'll make one hour of progress on your 1st playthrough and you'll have to start all over again once you come back...

A true epic classic. The Oddworld Inhabitants Universe has become more relevant in comparison to our current society than ever before. This game is fun, humourous, and just challenging enough to provide hours of entertainment. An amazing port from the original Xbox, with an easy to use touchscreen interface that isn't overly complicated. Worth the small amount of money it costs to play anywhere. After purchase no internet required!

honestly i didnt expect much from this game because its a phone game and most phone games of this type have horrible controls. but these controls were absolutely amazing for a phone game. the start load time is kind of annoying it takes a while to load for me at least. other than that its a fabulous game and just like the original. maybe even a little more detail. absolutely wonderful guys great job ❤️

Great Port and works wonderful with Bluetooth as well as micro USB gamepads. The graphics are a little dated, but I don't think an HD version of the game would play well on Android. I definitely recommend this game, but would suggest you at least play New N tasty first because half the fun of the oddworld games is the story.

I just got this yesterday, and so far I'm enjoying it. My brother played Abe's Oddessy and I have played Strangers Wrath on kindle, so this game is somewhat nostalgic to me as it has components of both. The controls are just a little wonky, but are easy enough to get used to. And while the graphics are not in great detail I do not think itt detracts anything from the game play. Overall I like the game characters & style and look forward to finishing the game.

An Odd but really good game. Playing on my tablet and haven't had any trouble, controls are fine and I'm able to navigate Abe and Munch quite well. Have played enough to get a sense of the game play and it's classic '90's!! Great art and a good sense of humour from the developers (I'm rating now because of the "elbow grease" comment; very funny haha- but effective). Oh, and I really enjoy the "me me me's"! You'll have to get the game to see why.

Thanks to the touchscreen friendly features, like a toggle for run, walk and sneak, and a virtual joystick that appears wherever you touch, this is actually better than the console version! All hail the Odd!

This was my favorite game on the first Xbox and I was very sad ever since the newer consoles came out and wouldn't work with this game anymore. All of these years later, I finally found this option to play on my device instead - even better, I found I can play it with my Xbox controller connected to my device via Bluetooth!! THIS IS INCREDIBLE! Love this game! Thank you for coming out with this app so we can revisit this favorite!

A childhood favorite, I remember when this game first came out. I also know that they were one of the founders of 3d animation( along with toy story of course) this game is one of my favorites and Im glad its on mobile. What can I say, you have to try it!!!! I cant wait to see the new odd world exodus. I downloaded munches oddysee and strangers wrath. I give you my word!!

This is a great port of the original Xbox game that has improved graphics. you will need a phone with a good CPU/GPU and if you want to play on your TV the Nvidia Shield plays the game very well. I would recommend a wireless controller like one from 8bitdo to play the game whether on your phone or TV.

Excellent port - I remember the original Oddworld game from when I was younger, never played this before, it stayed faithful to the themes of the original entries in the series. Arguably the puzzles aren't varied enough as the game wears on but the storyline and interactivity between the characters more than makes up for that. Really enjoying this! BTW... Its Vykkers, not Vickers!

Love this game! The transition from the console to mobile came out perfect! Both this and Strangers Wrath have been some of the best games to make it to mobile devices.

Great world, okay level design, fun workers and security to fight... Cartoon character say something offensive sin from a more reasonable time... Great voice acting (for it's intended use) and okay port but did y'all have to place the button in the center? [Some graphics settings depth woulda been appreciated]

I already love this xbox original game very very much!!! great sound and graphics, great controls, it is every bit as fun as I remember. I hope they keep bringing xbox games to the Android. Worth paying money for sure. So far, I've seen might & magic coh and oddworld. I hope to see blinx, whiplash, jsrf, simpson's h&r, and fusion frenzy in the future. Mad props to who ever did this, I can't thank you enough.

Excellent port, I remember playing this back on my xbox and having it on a phone and reliving those memories from when I played back then is priceless. Also the controls are responsive and easy to get used to, whoever is a fan of Oddworld I would recommend this.

Great game, excellent control. Better than the Xbox version. Consider this the original. The graphics and animation are outstanding. Android seems to be the new portable game console. Hope all the games make it on here soon.

Just like playing on the Xbox when I was a kid. Classic game, and controller support is integrated well. One of the best games ever made on console, and now it's on mobile! Definitely worth the price. For anyone that wants to play a more immerssive game on their phone, this is it.

I played Abe's Odyssey in the 90's and loved it! This is even better, and mobile! I'm officially addicted. Funny, gross characters that are almost cute. Not quite a kids game for the difficulty level and humor, but a young child would certainly be entertained by it. If you like open world, action adventure, puzzle games even a little bit... I've yet to find a better one on mobile... definitely not for free, anyway. DOWNLOAD IT NOW YOU STUPIDS!!

Another great Classic Title. Have never played this one before now. Graphics great, sound great, controls are great, everything is great!! Can't wait until you port Oddworld: Abe's Exodus. Keep up the good work in porting these great classic Titles.

This is a hard game to review. Do I review the quality of the port? If so then I rate it 5 stars. The game itself, however, is awful. Munch's Oddysee could have been the game to sway me from the PS2 to the Xbox. When I finally played it, I was shocked by how poor it was compared to the innovative Oddworld games before. It seems as though it had a troubled development; as Strangers Wrath was amazing. But to rate this 5 for the quality of the port would be disingenuous.

It's just like I remember.. runs great on my s9+.. better than it did on the original xbox. The controls aren't unplayable on touch screen, but obviously physical controller is the best way to play this.

Very close to computer graphics. I loved Abes story and the gameplay concepts in the computer games, and they did well to implement similar controls into this game, despite the limited amount of space on q phone screen. 5\5 Will play again

Just like the X-Box. The gamespeak works a little better because you can actually look at the commands. Run Walk is now a button because we have no analog stick. They thought this game out, it wasn't just thrown together for profit. Great job!

Too hard to control. I downloaded this after playing New n Tasty which is a simplified 2D type world which is much easier to play on a phone. Otherwise i'm sure this game would be great on a gaming console with a proper hand-held controller.

Freaking awesome game. Played it 3 times in a row. I just did not want it to end. Graphics are stunning. Characters are adoring. Levels are challenging. Fantastic work you guys! Ty so much. I love Oddworld! You guys rock! Xoxo
