Everything about this game seems worth to have on your device. However, one thing that prevents it to get full start is that when I connected to gamepad, it seems I'm unable to move to the right directions. Every buttons function properly except for the right movement of the left thumbstick. Probably a bug, but it's a shame, would love to play it via gamepad.

I'm so happy to have found this and the other oddworld titles on mobile! Though is is the first one I've played so far and I've only made it about 1/2 way into it, so far it seems to have made the transition to mobile perfectly, with no glitches so far and even the control is smooth (and I do not use a controller) just the onscreen buttons. I would give more stars if I could. Only thing I could ask would be PLEASE port over more games like you did here. I want MORE 😁

This is basically a shooting game, but you need to shoot critters from your crossbow at other critters. Don't be fooled by the description; this is a shooter's delight. It's extremely addictive and the storyline can keeps players like me enticed for hours. The classic battles at the end of each scenario are tough and a lot of fun--and you won't be wasting two hours watching irritating ads so you can build up enough ammo. The only minus was the rough language used here and there (otherwise 5 *'s)

Seems to be a wonderful port, with one very annoying issue. It has not received an update in 5 years, and as such it gives a warning about being for an older version of Android. The issue that goes with this is the resolution. I have a Galaxy A50, and this game does not fill the screen. The game itself plays great, but it needs an update! Please consider this, and I will raise to 5 stars.

So far I really like it. But I've played for an hour so far and 90% of that time was adjusting every possible control settings from camera and movement speed to resolution etc. just to get some comfort with the combat cuz it's too sensitive when in combat. If nothing else works I'll get a controller cuz I really like it so far.

I never played the original so couldn't vouch for how seamless this port is by comparison but I have found the game to run buttery smooth even on higher graphics settings (Snapdragon 632 - Moto G7 Power). The game is so far absorbing and very quirky as you'd expect with an Oddworld title. I'd absolutely recommend playing with a controller. Touch screen play is a definite no. The jump command is a bit sketchy though. All in all though, absolutely worth the price!

This was on sale for $1 when I got it and it's hands-down the best $1 I have ever spent. It truly feels like a high quality console game on Android (well, it is...). The controls work great (I don't use a physical controller) and it has several graphics options so it runs well even with my fairly old phone. I extremely recommend it.

The game was fun while it lasted for me. The game crashed on me as soon as I beat the boss D. Caste raider after stranger secret is revealed during the explosions. This is pretty late in the game and I set all settings on low and tried multiple ways to get around this bug but I couldn't. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game but for some reason my gamesaves couldn't be recovered even though I was signed in to play store forcing me to start from the very beginning of game. Oh well Disappointed.

Wow an actual good 3D platformer for Android. 3D platformers on android are rare so I'm glad I found this cool game. The game has some good voice acting and mechanics although I think they could've been be a bit more detailed, like more variety of things said by the main character during gameplay, character composition and more variety of hand combat. So those get a 4/5 for me. But it's forgivable because beating those nasty enemies is pretty satisfying as well as the asthetics of the world.

Classic nostalgic game now with controller support on android! Absolutely great game with a clear objective, quick switch first person to 3rd with useful situational controls and actions for both and silly consistent themed humor. This is a phenomenal game and even better because I can play it with full graphic quality on any modern phone from anywhere.

this game is perfect. im always late in enjoying great games because of budget issues. this is one game ive been longing to play since i first saw it. im really thankful for the chance to play this awesome game. its perfect, the characters, the atmosphere, setting, gameplay mechanics, story. everything is perfect. also the controller support is much appreciated. did i already say its perfect? 😁 i wonder why this doesnt have a sequel yet. I want to see more of stranger. thanks a lot guys.

The game was very enjoyable, functional, and surprising considering the genre it's based in. To be a First Person Shooter/Third Person Brawler and to incorporate mechanics designed to encourage the player to capture enemies alives. It brings nuance to the genres and tones down the "us versus them" narrative that is plastered onto violent videogames. Granted the mechanic dissipates towards the end of this game, but it would be good to see more FPS's borrow this option.

Best Game on Mobile Honestly I have played many games and at first I loved Oddworld and everything about the game. When I found out it was on mobile I had to think about it despite the amazing price; the price is very well worth the Smooth experience. I have my game running at Max Settings and everything runs buttery smooth. I wish there was a sequel. Side note. On my phone when I leave the game for hours but don't close the app I come back right were I left... Awesome 100%.

The graphics are definitely some of the best graphics I've seen in a app game. But it's definitely not without ALLOT of flaws. The settings for controllers are terrible and there are no sensitivity options which just makes it worse. This is especially bad for folks that might get motion sick easily (like myself). Oh yeah! You can't rebind any of the buttons either, so you better hope you like the setup.

Proudly done, for you & your developers. I give you five stars but haven't fully played this game but am hopeful in the future of more classic games. The game i hope you and your team will get the rights to is Fable 1 & 2. Never got to play them or this one for that matter, any chance you can hit me back and let me know if it's possible? Thanks for you guys being my first 2 paid games.

Epic game! Bought it years back, uninstalled then because I couldn't get a hang of it. Just reinstalled it recently and it's been fun. It upps your adrenaline from start to finish. Long enough to worth your money, graphics cool, control super. In the class of its own. Recommend, you will not be disappointed 👍

Brilliant....but.... Have loved Oddworld games since the 90's, been gaming since late 70s! This one IS fab, graphics, gameplay, story, characters, motifs, all of it worth every penny. But on 'medium difficulty' I found it really hard by halfway through, wasnt fun anymore. Started over on 'Easy difficulty' and got through to last episode...which is just ENDLESS shoot-em-up relentless survival drudgery and so hard that it just wasnt enjoyable anymore....on EASY difficulty. Gave up & uninstalled.

Playing this on my Nvidia shield Pro (2019) currently and it runs like a dream, full controller support for my Ps4 controller which is fantastic!!! The graphics have been great and are smooth at least 95% of the time, I've had very minimal graphical issues, overall a great game and worth the price too, having great fun with this awesome classic.

Brilliant game and characterisation. A little hard to see on a phone, could be brighter with better contrast, but young eyes should be fine. Genuinely entertaining and long lasting

Playable from beginning to end, if your on easy mode. Try and up the difficulty and you will need a controller. Touch screen will not cut it.

The controls can be messy at times, but it's a fantastic game. All of the 1 star reviews I can guarantee are probably journalists. I do highly suggest making sure your phone is compatible before buying so you don't waste money buying it and not be able to play it, but it's definitely worth the bank breaking $2.99.

As someone who's been an Oddworld fan since first generation Playstation, this is a fantastic experience and a genuine joy to play. I loved Stranger on original Xbox, and it translates extremely well to mobile. Re-mappable touch contols, use of the phone's gyroscopic control, and an intuitive interface make gameplay smooth, and aiming even more fun if your gyroscope is enabled in the settings. If you like Oddworld and want to play a classic anywhere, this is the way to do it.

Outstanding game! Originally released in 2005, Oddworld: Strangers Wrath feels like the perfect mixture of 1st and 3rd person gameplay. As you play through the game you will be drawn in by the colorful characters and the story as it unfolds. Oh and the plot twist...! You will not be disappointed! Seeing as this game was released in 2005 it has a nostalgic feel to the gameplay. That is not to say that everything is perfect...but Oddworld: Strangers Wrath is a fun play for any would-be gamer.
