This App is focused on the solution of Nexus Imprint (HTC 10 or most of the fingerprint unlock) issues, it is unlikely our previous version used a screen lock mechanism which will cause fingerprint unlock fail.
OFF+ is a 10 sec soft screen lock, it tries to disable all touch and button keys events and turns off the backlight then wait for 10 sec until hardware lock is activated, it will exit automatically and release all pre-occupied RAM and CPU resources.

This app turns off the phone screen (works great), but doesn't actually shut down the phone. I was wanting a hard shutdown for security (lock and require pin). You can change app settings and access features with a long hold on the app button. Suggestion: This app can be added to a Google Assistant Routine to enable screen off by voice command. To the developer: Can you add security lock or power down to the app?
Actually works!! Works after 5 seconds, only shows finger reader to get back in during that 5 sec timeframe, then shuts off screen for true device lock-screen thereafter. Perfect for Moto Z4 where the finger reader is inaccessibly beneath the screen without this app. I'd be pressing my power button every time without this app. Love it! Thanks developer. Would love if you could add function to assign app as the phone assistant...then you could just hold home button to lock phone, saving a step!
Doesn't work. I have a brand new Galaxy A50. I launch the app, it asks for a fingerprint, I do that, and it cycles the screen back on, unlocked. It never turns the screen off. Yes I have enabled the "change system settings" permission.. Uninstalled. I found an app that actually works & turns the screen off and locks it. And one should not have to be a beta tester to get an app that works. If the app isn't ready for release don't release it until its tested (its what I used to do).
Really optimized app with 0% RAM use. It is only uses 5-6 MBs of the internal memory. The screen will be off as soon when we touch the Sscreen off icon. BUT.... actually the screen is not got locked after tapping the icon, the screen will be go to standby mode and it is almost same as the screen on. And it drain battery more quickly since the screen is always on 😭😭
A bit disappointed at the first use. However after few test, it works well. The screen is turned off instantly. The lock process takes 10secs. During this process I can't do anything however. Thanks a lot!
It does what it says. Would be better if one tap on the fingerprint sensor only open to the page asking you to use biometric to open page instead of directly opening it. That would take two placings of finger on the sensor. More safer and no accidental opening of screen while in pocket.
To me the only purpose of this app is to act as a bridge to the Google Assistant to soft lock the phone, unfortunately this app only seem to work when run manually, when run from Google Assitant it "locks" for 10 seconds and then the screen wakes up again, rendering this app pretty much useless.
Generally works as advertised - dims screen for 5 seconds and then locks. Unfortunately, as soon as I run the app, I immediately get a dimmed version of the fingerprint unlock prompt during the 5-second dim.
The fingerprint scanner works but the app does not actually lock the phone it just dims the screen. I am using the note 9 and when you press the virtual home button this too wakes the screen up.
The screen doesn't turn off, it just turns black like a black image being displayed on the screen. I got to know by viewing the screen from sides, it's luminous even after lock.
The best finger lock app, locks perfectly, instantly, zero seconds of delay. Smallest app in size with no useless junk or any unwanted permissions or adds!!! Asked developer for the Metallic coloured icon, promptly got a custom designed icon, that's how super app developers work ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This app works fine with fingerprint scanner but it first dims the display and takes about 5 seconds to lock the phone. I would have given 5 stars if it could lock the phone immediately.
If trying to unlock with fingerprint too quick after locking with this app, fingerprint will not works. But can unlock with fingerprint if wait about 10 seconds. I hope developer can fix this bug.
It's good. but there is no time setting to off screen. The default time of 5 seconds is too late. if there's time selection is better.
It work but it doesn't work fingerprint, you just scroll up fast to see home button and you top it faster to open but it work. I got no volume .maybe it's because of My phone is flare
#Fake! nice little trick. First it darkens the screen then says to press homebutton which actually turns phones screen off. Then the again tap wakes the screen and that seems the finger print job is done with this. lolz!
In 2019 it was No pass for fingerprint sensor. But in 2020 i reinstalled new version. Its not working with fingerprint. Its working with volume button.
Finally! This is the only "screen off" app that seems to work well on Pixel 3a with finger print reader. Great Job!

Simple and perfect for my problem with power button not working, although my fingerprint is working, so now i have a Samsung Bixby mapped to this app and it is working excellent!
Worked without problems until my Galaxy S9+ updated to Pie. Now the screen comes up extra dark when unlocking after using this. Sadly had to uninstall.
1. Please add a button on notification too. So that we can access from any screen. 2. When i launch it using google assistant, the google assistant pops up again a few seconds after screen turning off
love this app. I keep my display on unless I lock manually or use this app via Android assistant. Works perfectly while I'm driving.
Finger print is not support. The brightness sometime is changed to minimum when device wake up.
I've tried a LOT of the screen-off apps (possibly most of them) including many of the paid apps, and this one is by far my favorite! My LG phone had this feature built in, called "knock off" - until I switched to a third-party launcher app. I really missed being able to turn my screen off without using the power button and without locking it. So I was thrilled when I finally found this app. All of the other apps I tried automatically locked the screen, disabled the fingerprint sensor so I had to use my PIN to unlock the phone, or kept the faux black screen for a very long time before the screen timed out (during which time, accidentally hitting the volume button, etc would turn the screen back on). This app temporarily lowers the screen time-out so the faux black screen only lasts a brief time before the screen times out. Once the screen times out, I can use LG's built-in "knock on" feature to turn the screen back on later without having to unlock it. (For some reason, knock on still works, even though knock off doesn't.) The launcher app I use (Nova Launcher) allow me to set actions for various gestures (like double-tapping the screen), so I was able to configure the double-tap gesture to activate this app. Now, double-tapping on my home screen turns it off just like it did originally!
