Here are a few reasons: The right side of the screen is cut off on my samsung galaxy and it's just not accessible. No calendar. Have to scroll forever to get a schedule. Then it's a list, not a calendar, and starts back in October so its scroll again. Why did you mess with a good app?
The app was at its best 2 seasons ago. It seems to get worse each year. Uninstalled and gone. I hate it.
Used to be the best app for Rangers fans & I used it everyday & the widget was perfect for following scores. After the last update it has been transformed into a mere link to download NHL app which I don't want because there are 29 teams I don't give a shot about & of course awesome widget is gone
The NHL has taken over this app. This app now just asks you to download the NHL app. NOT HAPPENING. I curse those responsible.
It was better when it was not connected to the NHL app now what's the point of all of the team apps if when u go into it u go straight to the NHL app instead
I used to have a Rangers app and the NHL app. Now it's just the NHL app and a bookmark to that app with a rangers logo. So stupid and lazy.
Need to change back or I'll start rooting for the Penguins.
I tried...hate the new app and update. I can only recommend this app to Islander fans. I am deleting it.
The old app was great, individual rangers specific information. Now same old canned NHL crap. I blame Gary bettman.
Why would i need this app anymore if it just makes me use the NHL app? I used to love this app and used it almost every day during hockey season but guess i will just go online now. I thought the point of an app was to make things simpler, not more complicated
the Rangers app that was run on its own and not a part of the NHL app. was 100 times better. easier to navigate, more interactive box scores better looking. and more geared towards Rangers fans
WAS a great app but the goons in Toronto managed to screw it up more than MSG screwed our team up this season.
App was great for years, was trying to find the widget on my home screen and come to find out it makes you download the nhl app. Deleting and will NEVER use again. Good bye.
This was hands down an amazing app. Now all it does is force you to download the NHL app which does not hold a candle in comparison. As a true Rangers fan I'll miss this app so much.
Can't stand all the other stuff that clogs this up when all I wanted to do is check the Rangers roster
Definitely not liking this anymore. The old one was so much better. Very disappointing
I thought this was the NY Rangers App, apparently it's just the NHL app with a different logo. Wanted to be able to see the roster and other things which you can't do with the NHL app. This is horrible.
ONE STAR MEANS "HATED IT" The Rangers app was much better last year than this year it stinks! I love the Rangers but hate the app so I'm uninstalling it now! :'•( Bring back the old app it was much better
What's the purpose of having a team app when it will just bring you to the NHL app??? Now I'm going to delete the Rangers app since there's no point whatsoever in having it if it just brings me to the NHL app while wasting memory on the phone. Just horrible. Go back to the way it was! 😠

I used to get score updates on my phone, which I loved. Now all of a sudden, I am not getting them. I try to open the app and now I am prompted to download the NHL APP and I don't want to. It stinks.
The app was fine. The NHL forcing every team to use the same layout for their website/app is typical Bettman tyranny.
App people: why did you change it? I loved the NYR app. Now it's a stupid NHL app. I don't want to know about the NHL and I don't want all their ads and stuff. I just wanted my beloved NYR. #UpdateFail
This was the best app for a Rangers fan. I used it almost every day. Now when you click on the app it just brings you to the NHL site and that's it. I am so disappointed. PLEASE PUT THE APP BACK THE WAY IT WAS! There is a old saying "If it is not broken DO NOT fix it" I am now deleting the app.
