This app is the answer if you need to keep more than 3 months event data (Google and Outlook both limit event syncs to 3 months). The database can be associated with most calender apps.
All you can do is pick a color on a color wheel and give a title. Once it opens the actual calendar app,it doesn't add your color or even keep that event only on your phone.
completely worthless.... dont bother with this unless, you love to keep creating events and not know where they go or how to view your past ones... you can create endless events with a colors only.... this deserves a 0 stars and alit of time wasted, uninstall after this post.... NEXT
What is this app?? the only thing i can do is give a name and a color to a calendar that is not even displayed!? there is no menu, if i click on the little calendar button after choosing the name it says " not supported please open calendar manually" , ok but where is that calendar??
No good. Using "NoRoot Firewall" app once this program opens up Google Calendar, Google Calendar seeks the internet! My firewall is set to auto block the request.
Ignore the bad reviews! This app integrates with the Google Calendar app to let you store events on your device instead of on your Google account.
did not work or unfriendly for me anyway. Never could get it to work past creating a calendar. No menu guidance or solution.
Wanted an offline calendar app just for my ph. Cannot understand why i cannot have various coloured events and appointments.
Absolutely useless. Syncs everything with Google Calendar and Samsung Calendar too.
There is no more review of all events, just like google, up to a year. Why ??? Any update since 2016 ???
Invaluable on phones without any built-in local calendat.
wont open needs updating
Invokes Google Calendar.
Thank you for developing this app.
zero rating this app does NOTHING
App has been sold or something to a developer of another calendar app. Update v1.9 now throws a nag screen to download some full-fledged calendar to get the same functionality. I don't need that. This app has worked fine for the last 3 years with the built-in calendar app I already have, so why break it now? Stay on v1.8 if you can!
Installed the app and created 2 calendars but have no way of opening them to populate with data. Got frustrated after try to figure a way to make it work. Shame --- this app looked promising! I'm uninstalling it now.
I just wanted my calender to be stored on my phone and backed up there. This app is perfect for setting up the calendar and their other calendar app works great to export the Google calendar to a local file and then import it into the locally stored one. Thanks guys!
Excellent. Just say no to cloud. People who write negative reviews, create private calendar, then add event and it shows up on you Android supplied calendar but does not get shared. Thanks guys.
Allows you to easily add several offline calendars to the standard calendar app, keeping your private data private. Does exactly what I want and nothing else.
Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Not syncing the entries with the online calendar. An individual widget for the calendar would be nice. If I'm not mistaken, using the Google calendar widget to create events synchronizes them.
Used this for years, and wouldn't be without it. I don't want to have my calendar info synced to anywhere. Absolutely perfect when used in conjunction with Calendar Widget by plusonelabs (available from F-Droid).
Clearly there are still bugs. For me, it creates calendars, but no way to display them, only knows to display the default "clouded" calendar. Someone said this app does nothing...Amen.
This is exactly the thing I needed! Suprised it's not a part of android by default. Thank you for this vital app!
Very necessary. I really hate this damned cloud trend.
I need a calendar, not list of nltes but this opens my default (Google) calendar and iCal is apparently required for something, but it needs access to my contacts(?) and files(?), and closes when those permissions are revoked. Not happy about this.
Everything you need to give AOSP a fully functional calendar. An essential app.
Ignore all the morons complaining the app does nothing or whatever other excuse for being too stupid to use it - they shouldn't be allowed out on their own, never mind have a phone. *[EDIT]* Thanks, but I have a more than adequate calendar already and don't need another. I just need an offline DB to store records in, so I'd rather export the OC APK locally and reinstall it locally when I upgrade my phone - unless the Etar DB can be read by my current app like OC is.with no need to use the UI.
