Offline Notepad
Main features include:
-Create as many notes as you like, and search for them by title or anything in the note body to find them again at ease. Tap the 'copy' button on a note to copy the note contents to your clipboard with ease.
-Create & write your weekly shopping list or anything else with the dedicated list creation feature; add as many items as you like!
-Organise your notes & lists into folders and sub-folders, create as many folders as you like - as many layers deep as you like also!
-Revisit old revisions/edits of a note/list to see the history of that item. You may also replace the current version of that note or list with an older version of it.
-Pin your favoured notes/lists/folders to the top to help filter out the items you aren't actively updating.
-Export & import your items to yourself across devices by following the export/import process within the app. As this is an offline notepad, the export/import process is done by emailing your data to yourself. Your exported items are encrypted by default.
-Lock the app to portrait (default) or landscape so you can use it on phones & tablets alike!
Offline notepad is entirely free & your notes, lists and folders are only stored within the app itself. There are no limitations on how many items you can create or how many times you can edit your notes/lists.

Awesome Notepad App! I wanted a simple app that was fast & easy to use. I tried others, & most were rendered nearly unusable by constant ads, or popups requesting money. Then I stumbled across this, which looks great, has some decent options in settings, can export (& automatically backup) my saved notes, then import them (good for multiple devices.) It even allows folder creation! The developer is also responsive when contacted. Send him a few bucks for his efforts! Highly recommended!
Very easy to use actually. The font size is just perfect, or maybe later on, users can change the size the way we want and there's also the default in case if users accidentally changed the font size. For months, I haven't checked the settings. Because without you change things in settings, this app is ready to use immediately after you downloaded it.
This app is quick to learn, and easy to use. I like that I can create lists and reorder them, and that I can write notes (Lists number each item, a Note is a text document). The fact that I can move Lists and/or notes under a Folder is very handy. It doesn't seem to use many resources, but yet is easy to back up. I like it! I'm sure there will be some refinements down the road as the author seems very responsive. Just import a Txt document into List and it works great, very easy
I've installed the app on several phones. Love the ability to create folders, the date time stamp, the choice of themes (dark best for me). I have a different notepad app on my phones. Two, actually. I prefer this one. One has sticky note squares and the other only allows 12 notes. Happy there are no pop up ads on this app, especially not noisy ones that startle me in the middle of doing something. Thank you!
What a great app! Simple, exactly what I was looking for! Always opens quickly. It's wonderful to be able to have a place now to copy and paste notes from wherever and be able to access instantly and easily whenever I need them. And equally wonderful to have the ability to export/import notes from device to device. I love the dark theme, too, so much easier on the eyes. My only wish would be to be able to take notes from Android and access them when using my laptop, but in the meantime, this is simply gold! Great concept, great execution! Thank you, Gino!
This app is amazing! It gives you the option to create a list or a note and if you want it to be safe even if your phone gets lost you can add a lock. The lock is a four digit pin that only you know. And if you dont like the dark mode then you can change it to light mode. I love this app it let's me keep lists and storys and it don't take up much space. This is a great app and I highly recommend you get it. It's better than the other note pads.
Loving this app so far! No ads, no popups, and private. It's just a good notes app through and through. I use it for writing mostly, or dream journaling. One thing I'd like to see in the future is text edits. Like bold, italics, underlining, general stuff like that. The new size feature is great! I actually made the text smaller so I could see more of what I wrote, lol. Hope this app never goes away :) it feels like my works are safe and secure, even if they're just for fun
Finally.. A simple bloody note app that doesn't contain ads; sketchy privacy policies, accounts, or other unecessary and distracting features. Seems like the settings menu was also made by someone who knows how to make a settings menu. Many options you can change or toggle and categorized so it isn't overwhelming. Can't say too much more as I have only just used this, but consider me satisfied so far. 👍
less is more rings true with the Offline Notepad. the quality straightforward design goes easy on my eyes with the right theme. it doesn't lack any function i need and any features i don't make use of don't get in the way. amazingly there are no ads at all. it's exactly what i was looking for. i even used it to write this review.
The design of this app is the best for note taking. I really like how the search function searches titles, searches note contents, AND highlights the search results in the note with a forward and back button. I really wish it could export notes to the phone's internal storage or sd card instead of the other methods. Update: Greatful for adding the export to device feature.
Developer is responsive and friendly. I test a lot of apps as new ones come along. After losing phones to damage and theft, cloud backup seemed good. Then backup fails or Google senses a problem and locks you out. It can be a challenge to get back in. My new solution: Use this app to store my passwords and other sensitive info, with it's encrypted notes sent to an email I know I can access. DL a copy to a flash drive and put it away. Edit history is awesome! Lists with percent too. Nice app!
I personally love this app and it helped me a lot throughout this few months; it's useful and simple. Yet I have encountered this problem recently that whenever I want to type something down the first few words get lost through the screen and I have no idea what is causing it, or that this was caused by the new update or it's only for my own device exclusively. Either way, I really love this app!
One of the better note taking apps. I can plan and organize as well as store personal information while being offline. Also, since it has no ads, the lag is seemless. Since its an offline notepad, it feels that your not being watched and that is extremely good for security. Some notepads rely on cloud, ads, money to pay or people watching online. I heavily recommend this app over anything else. It is extremely simple to use.
Best "simple" notepad currently at the Playstore, and I looked at them all. It's secure, easy to use and works really well. It does everything I need (read the description) without the frills and... without ads! I use it for writing song lyrics, letters and lists. So far, no disappointments, just pleasant surprises. Offline Notepad merits 5+ stars and should be among Playstore's top offerings. All apps should work this well. Kudos to the developer.
I enjoy the app overall, particularly the auto save and previous versions features, but there is one feature that's missing that I was hoping was at least in the backlog: home screen widgets. The ability to pin a note or few to the home screen is a feature I frequently relied on for my old device, but that app couldn't be ported over so I found this lovely one. I did download a second notepad app that has widget capabilities that I may use more often, but your app is staying on my phone.
Absolutely wonderful! Thank you! I became frustrated with bookmarks export and backup in browsers. I now use this for my bookmarks. It is very well set up for organizing notes and folders, and that's the free version. A very well written app. No useless bells and whistles - just efficient function. Thank you again sir. Among the Best Notepad out there, this is the most Outstanding of all. Don't waste your time trying every notepad that you see in playstore, just download this one and forsure will never regret. Easy to add lists, creat folders and deleting items is simple than before. More interesting, this app allows you to export your notes for backups. What else do you want from this100% free app? I love this notepad application. It's simple, direct and does what it should. It's not fancy, but it's a note. The last notepad application i had could not select and then copy / cut and paste text. This one works well in that operation. I would like to be able to print an individual note page on occasion. Definitely worth supporting, and I do.
Downloaded this and BlackNote. Gave em a lightning test back to back. ON loaded faster. Both had the same plus icon to start a new note, BN had theirs centered and an arrow pointing to it so I responded faster even tho it was tested first. But then ON was more intuitive by having the options list pop up immediately next to my finger. OfflineNotepad wins. Faster load time, faster new file selection. Suggestion: bottom-center for the + button, and make it and popup menu a bit bigger. Thanks!
The app crashed with 'Backup Scheduling' enabled quite a few times recently. Disabling & Re-enabling the process didn't fix it, removing spaces in the folder name chosen to save backups to didn't fix it either. I notice that the app always defaults to "include previous saves," regardless of what is set to previously and that I have to press cancel and be sure to uncheck the option "include previous saves" or it refuses to accept any backups that I make. This is confirmed to be a present issue.
Hello, i just have to say fantastic work, i love the app and i will definitely be making a donation of at least a "Good Meal" if not more, when i am able. The update for text size is a good addition, but what i would love to see and utilize myself in the app is the option to change text size specifically within our individual folders and notes, Ex; Headers. As well possibly options for fonts? Or perhaps text colors? Colors may be problematic considering the color themes for the app present.
I've tried many highly rated note apps that I just didn't like at all. This one is clean, simple, ad-free, doesn't clutter my cloud and has what I need. Wouldn't mind more color schemes but not as much as I'd like zoomable text so I don't need my old man glasses to read my shopping lists. Maybe one day?
Was otherwise impressed by the app but it has a bug or something due to which it fails to import the exported notes on my device (Android version: Kitkat). Moreover, I am concerned when it says that size of import cannot be greater than 1 MB (my test export file was only a few KBs which it did not import) which to me means that I cannot depend on the app for all my notes throughout my life. I hope the app will be improved in this department so that I can continue to use it.
I just installed Offline Notepad and loved using it after discovering the best way to paste text into it. BUT, suddenly, the text size increased in the middle of typing something witout warning. I cannot get the font size in the notepad to get back to normal which messes up the readability of my notes. Otherwise, great up up until then.
It does almost everything I want. Learning about its tricks and settings, which are reasonable to use. I like the extra info in the News section and saving as text so I can transfer jottings to my pc easily. No ads ✔. 4 stars due to the lack of shortcuts to jump into individual notes from phone screen, so I need to run another app too. I decided to stay with just orig app that provides shortcuts to notes.
