IMPORTANT NOTE:If you find a SIM that does not have a valid APN in the database please email me so we can find the correct settings together. I would like the APN list to be as complete as possible, but I will need help from everyone. Please check against the database using this free version first. If you happen to know the country you are visiting we can try to improve that countries list before you leave. This helps everyone.
How does this app save money?Most cell providers charge outrageous fees for international roaming. You can avoid international roaming fees by purchasing a local SIM. In many countries you can get one for less than $10.
In order to do this you need a phone that is not carrier locked (this is not the same as rooting). You can get your phone's unlock code and instructions on how to use it from your carrier. Most of the time you can get this over the phone from your service provider.
Using a local SIM will give you a local phone number. However, If the purchased SIM card includes data getting an internet connection requires the service providers APN settings. This can be difficult to get if you do not speak the local language.

This app contains a huge database of known APN settings for SIM cards. Run the app and search for your SIM's APN settings. Then you can add these settings automatically, or in the case of Ice Cream Sandwich users copy and paste the individual settings into a new APN entry.
NOTE FOR ICE CREAM SANDWICH AND JELLY BEAN USERS:The current release of Android has disabled the ability to add APN settings with 3rd party software. You will need to use the copy buttons (see the screen shot) and paste the settings into a new APN entry manually. As of now the only way around this limitation requires root access (do this at your own risk) and placing the app in the /system directory.
APPLICATION LIMITATIONS:This application will not give your phone signal where it normally will not get it.This application it meant for phones with a GSM antenna. If your phone does not have a SIM slot this application will do nothing for you.

I'm not sure if the negative reviews are because people don't know how to use this app ...but I have used it on three different devices with three different carriers and it works great

There are MANY very good APN SETTINGS APPS & websites that are FREE and they don't JERK you around like THIS!!! * * Yes, Developers need to keep their lights on & food in the fridge. So they need to generate $$$ to sustain their lifestyle... Too bad there some Devs that stoop to such CORRUPT practices as I feel of this BAIT & SWITCH!!!

My Sprint phone wasn't getting MMS on Cricket service. The app detected several APNs. I tried the ATT APN... problem solved. I tried paid version on root but it didn't work. Split screen copy paste. Android 7.0
This app is worthless. Only shows 25% of the settings. Doesn't eve list proxy ip.

Bought the pro app to copy APN and it doesn't do anything
Gave the wrong APN settings. Had no option to try a different 1, or search unless I pay. Maybe for $1.00, but $2.50 for an app that I wanted simply as a book of the things I can find free. I will just spend 20 minutes & put the ones I might need into a txt file
The app does not recognize straight talk. So I have to go to an external site to try to copy APN. I could not get it to copy. I would have to type in 80 characters, not counting spaces, to make if happen. If I have to type everything into my APN anyway why would I need this worthless app? Do not bother downloading if you r straight talk user.
Apparently only the pro version can actually write directly without manual copy, that's fine. I installed this on my ROOTED excelvan phone/7inch tablet running android 4.2.2. This phone has never been tied to a provider it's a third party chinese product. As instructed I used Titanium Backup pro to make this a system app, it does not write to the APN settings section of the phone or at least the save I just made does not appear when pulling up the APN list. I thought perhaps the "pro" version had to be also made a system app but I only get one entry for the program and it's already converted to system rights. For whatever reason your app can't write to the APN settings on this phone. I hope you can fix this,
Love the app works with lg g5 with roger's Canada network saved me some time for sure. Recommend to anyone that changes carries often
The app could not find the correct carrier. It told me I need to select the carrier and then took me to the election party. My carrier was not in the selection part comma what I tried to browse and told me I need the pro version. Unfortunately it was not at all useful for me.
Does not have Total Wireless APN settings. I know them and I was trying to enter them by hand, but pro version is required to use root to force change APN settings.
