Offline Thesaurus Dictionary

Offline Thesaurus developers, thank you for an excellent app. Although there are plenty of ads, I like the game demos, I get exactly what I need from your app. I input a word and up comes other words I can choose from, a sufficient amount. Amazing. Then, I can easily pick and choose between the alternate words, nice! When I am done, I can read my writing to see if one or the other words I have selected works for what I want to convey. Again, thank you. Addition: Word of day is cool, too.

I like the app. It's easy to use and have had absolutely no difficulty with it....and I've used it a lot UPDATE: Need to lose the adds! If I want to shop or download an app, it's NOT going to be while I'm researching a word! The adds are disruptive and annoying. I have Google Store available. I also have a Strongs Exhaustive Concordance. I downloaded THIS app for convenience but, it seems that it's more important to someone that I spend most of my time deleting ads! Need ad free app or none.

I like the simple and functional interface. I'm using the app to write articles and it helps me a lot. If there is anything lacking that can improved, it would be that this app does not allow landscape viewing. Since I'm working on a tablet, I use landscape more than portrait viewing. It could be frustating tilting either the gadget or my head everytime I use the app. If the update manages to fix this, there would be nothing to complaint.

The thesaurus serves its purpose, but it could be so much better. Sadly, one is inundated with ridiculous volumes of most inappropriate and worthless advertisements that appear to serve no other function except to attempt and try / persuade me, the receiver of such adverts; to pay good money for something that I would never want or even use. But I guess when one goes for a free download; worthless psychological prompts go with the proverbial territory!!!!

This app claims to be an offline dictionary and thesaurus but it does not contain enough dictionary. The definitions the app provides are either insufficient or too narrow in scope. For example, the English word 'rose' has multiple meanings. As a noun, it refers to a flower. As a verb, it refers to the past tense of rise. As an adjective, it refers to the colour red. The app only defines the adjective. Furthermore, the "word of the day" notification cannot be disabled. Contains disruptive ads.

A neat app to have on hand when you can't think of just the "right" word to say what you want!!! Occasional ads but not a lot. I gave only one star because I hate ads of any kind!!!!

Excellent App, Easy to use. It gives you good definitions and a lot of other words meaning the same thing which is very helpful. Some of the Ads are to loud, they need to be turned down. I gave this App 5 stars and 2 thumbs up.

Great app!! It helps me to improve on my communication especially with regards to the use of idioms. I often wonder why people complain of some unavailable words; a thesaurus is used in combination with a dictionary for best learning experience. I'm loving it!! Spot on

When I would type in the word that I was looking for, oftentimes the word wasn't found within the database. For example, I searched for the word homologous, and it was not found within the database. But when I searched the word analogous, homologous was within the synonymous words suggested. There were several other words I searched for without any assistance. A thesaurus should have a broader vocabulary than I do, it's the reason I would utilize a thesaurus.

It's a really good app but not giving it 5 stars because it can be better by providing full definition along with synonyms and antonyms ......also I will highly recommend to install this app👍👍👍 ...another thing to mention is if u are using this app so look for all the meanings and opposites before choosing one as some may b not that u require as in English one word may have more meanings and it may b used as different parts of speech in the text but after all its a good app and I recommend it

I have been using it for months now, and such a great no fuss easy to use app, love that you can be offline, great writers tool, and not many ads. Thanks once again, love you to develop more apps! 😊

Nice app, does what it says on a tin, I would prefer better definitions of words but it is meant to be predominatly thesaurus so it's fine. It works offline which is great and this is exactly what I wanted. Although it rubs me the wrong way that it keeps asking for the review...

Works well for me. This is my first time using this, and I'm so glad it's clear cut usage. Print is in great size, and order of information is clear. Options of language word being searched can be french or spanish, which I find just invites a higher learning experience. Yay!

Poor. Didn't recognise basic words like "scrummy" & "lithe" and couldn't offer any synonyms. As I have cognitive problems & frequently can't recall words I rely on a thesaurus. Downloaded this so I could use it on line but, based on this trial, I won't be using this app & will remove it following this review. Don't understand the advertised pretty positive rating. It did recognise the 3rd word I tried in "shatter" & offered a substantial list of other substitutes, but it's not enough for me.

This app is very useful to not only me........ To everyone, it is useful very much...... I recommend everyone to use this app......... It not only contains synonyms but also the other useful Antonyms and parts of speech........... And another advantage of this app is that it is available offline...... But the disadvantage is that it does not contain prefix and suffix of the words...... Except that one thing, every thing is perfect............. ☺️☺️☺️😊😊😊😊😀😀

It is a wonderful and an easy way to get synonyms and their opposites. The endless adverts are so annoying and time consuming. Please look into it. Thanks.

I just love this App. The 5 stars is to say I have benefited everytime I used it. It is just simple, it is easy to get words. I should also highlight that knowing the basic spelling of words is beneficial when using it, because it does not give auto-correct😅.

During opening of this app it takes 3-5 sec, which is very annoying. It doesn't predict any word, if you come with some spelling mistake. For feeding a new word, u hv to press the back button instead of putting that new word in the same page. ..

This app is what it is really. I find it very useful as it gives varieties of examples for synonymous and antonyms in each part of speech the word you are searching belongs. And o yes, the French and Spanish is also useful. A 5star it really deserves.

Easy to use and I think the descriptions are excellent and because it is an offline thesaurus dictionary helps save data. I purchased another similar app for £15 which stated could be used offline however it can only be used when data or wifi available. I am pleased with your app and recommend it3

Very helpful dictionary, concise and impact, it has antonymns too. beginners might find it hard to grasp all the words and application, its more beneficial for medium and advance learners. Its comparable to Encarta Dictionary, will recommend to my friends and colleagues.

Very good thesaurus dictionary, and also with translation to French and Spanish (although not all the words are available in these two languages in the free version). Very useful.

It is a great app, it helps in building your vocabulary. I just hope they could include voice pronounciation to enable someone learn the pronunciation of certain words.

I like everything except for the text to speech pronouncing part that is not attached. Listening has the highest percentage in learning, so, text to speech should likewise be paramount.

I like the app because it helps one in synonms as well as in the usage of words. It makes every sentence explicit, distinct and comprehensive.

This ad does what it says it's going to do. In addition it offers translations in other languages which could be very helpful also. The banner ads are not two offenses. I will use this app again.

it's really very great. as one can find a wide range of words and their synonyms.Well,offline thesaurus is advantageous for me.if you are seeking for a good one must download it!but it does not contain pronounciation of words!

very useful. While you get the meanings of words, at the same time you are given a string of synonyms and antonyms. It is top class. I am going to share this app with all my high school learners using Share it ( another app )very good
