Still causes a small amount of confusion if I leave a page I was reading. If I go back to that same page, it looks blank. Took me a while to realize I had to scroll up to see words again. Between this app & geocaching we have all the entertainment we need to use our 40'er and see the small town wonders & back roads of america. Still can't leave out a mention of Roadside America. Have used it for 20+ years to see what other travelers have seen. THX, OH,RANGERS for all your efforts & for being there to share.
Told me about places I didn't even know were nearby, and there's a decent amount of info. But at least one of the places it said was near me, actually wasn't - however when I contacted them, I got a very fast response saying they would fix it. Info shown includes links to the official website when available; it would also be cool if there was a link to do a web search for the same place, to quickly get more info, photos, etc.
The database is missing NPS sites in Puerto Rico and the USVI. This app does NOT give information about all National Parks.
When I open this app on my ASUS ZenPad 8 tablet, all I get is a black blank screen
Terrible. Its supposed to have access to all these databases, yet none of the parks around me come up. Uninstalling.
This is a great app... if only it worked as it should. Instead, it sends you up tiny winding roads that end up in the middle of nowhere at least 100 miles from where your destination really is. Three times now it has sent us to "nowhere" instead of our chosen park. Upon asking locals for directions we've discovered we're not just "lost" we're hundreds of miles from where the real park is located. I've wasted tanks of gas and days off trying to "reach my destination" only to find Oh Ranger is out of its mind! Yesterday we ended up 191 miles in the opposite direction of the park we chose (which was supposed to be 31 miles from my house). I deleted the dang app! Grrr!
This app will give you an EZ way to search for state and national parks with all the details such as hours, contact info, fun things to do. As an RVer its the first app we check to see whats in our area for camping.
Would be nice to have 2additional fields, 1. Whether dogs are allowed, and under what conditions 2. If fires can be lit, and under what conditions.
Very useful. We do alot of RV travel. This app is an easy way to locate campsites no matter where you are.
I've anyways been pleased with this app. It's very handy at finding parks to visit when we are out and about traveling.
Just getting started with Oh Ranger and RVing, so anything that is as simple as this program was to install is great. See you on the road.
We are staying at Don Carter State Park and it is not listed. Links take you to shopping websites not related to parks. This app could be a great tool but it needs tweaking.
It also has links to even more info. It is not only for campers, but also for those just looking for outdoor recreation. Search can be filtered by the type of activity you are looking for.
The .pdf park maps do not work. The trail maps are the most important to me.
Super helpful app. Only thing I hope they fixed was the constant crashing, but other than that, this is my go to app for anything outdoors!
Great idea. Below average execution. needs more detailed info. and the pdf map feature does not work. I get a corrupted file error.
This is garbage. You can't click on any activity for each park
Samsung S7: I read some reviews before installing. Love the info this app gives but would be REALLY nice for RVers to be able to search for parks with campgrounds while on the road.
This used to be such a great app - What happened? None of the buttons work when trying to select specific activities (i.e. camping, hiking, etc.) I've uninstalled and reinstalled and still have the same problem.
Great app for finding parks and trails that I didn't even know were around me. But good lord are the map markers tiny! Why so small guys? I can barely click on them.
There are plenty of parks in my area and none of them are listed on this app... what's the point? You need to do some better research if you want this to be successful.

This is the app I use most often, I'm severely handicapped, but still hike, and such as my broken back allows, this app is one of the most informative I've found.
I need to see parks for RV camping while we travel and the app still shows Parks that don't offer camping even though I've applied the filter.
Very useful! I have been on many great adventures cuz of ohranger. Thanks!
The only improvement I would make is to add a star gazing activity category.
No updates since October 2012! Don't install!
Was with family when we all good this app. WE loved it. Then I stated looking at it when I got home and realized there are none of my local parks on the app, but they are on my wife's iPhone. Very disappointed that the data is not the same. Also tried the update button but no effect.... Great potential for the app, but merger the data between operating systems. There are no where near the options to select of activities as in the ios. Especially the ones I would use with small children
