well I've been riding ojo for couple weeks it's been good so far except once and a while I would find one that dont have brakes, or bluetooth didn't work, or one the throttle doesn't work but made the best of it. but however until yesterday I now dont want to ride ojo again because I CAN NOT end the ride and the bill is close to $200 and still climbing, the scooter is locked and I can not unlock any other ones or anything, I've called 4 times explaining my situation and no one is answering me
We don't have signal lights, there isn't a horn, we definitely don't have mirrors, there isn't even a speedometer. And the funny thing is is that there are Bluetooth speakers. How the hell does that help us with trying to be safe in the streets?? And another thing. Maybe this is just me but almost half of the scooters that I've ridden on some of them tend to slow down by themselves and even completely stopped on their own. Why is this happening?
Signed in with my email. Informed I need to put in my phone number. Informed a user with my phone number already exists, so I can't use it to sign up and thus cannot sign in. Ojo is now quite literally unusable, and the only thing I can do about it is change my phone number. I also can't even contact support because they can't determine my location. Edit: Although I have enabled the location permission for the app, I am unable to contact support because the app is unable to determine my location
OjO scooter wouldnt work properly and when I tried to ride on front st the scooter would just cut off. it would notify of a speed change and instead of reducing speed the scooter would just cut off. I tried multiple times to park at designated areas where other OjO scooters were parked and it repeatedly said it was charging a $20 fee to park wherever I stopped. its currently docked at a designated parking spot as it showed me on the app but then it turns around and says there is a $20 fee again
This app is horrible. I rode for about 7 min and it would not register the location as a drop off point and scharged me an extra $20. Total $27 for 7 minutes of ride time. On my anniversary at that. Disappointed and disgusted.
I have a Moto G5S which is a pretty mainstream phone and the OjO app does not work with my phone. I contact OjO 3 months ago and they have still not resolved the issue. Why are they excluding certain Android phones? I just don't get it. I guess they don't need my business.
Uninstalled. You should look over the laws on where you place your scooters for license requirements. It the State of Texas, it is not required and therefore, I will refuse to use the app if it continues to ask for such requirements. If this changes in the future, then I'll be happy to reinstall and give a proper review.
*UPDATED* The location issue appears to be corrected, BUT I just spent 20 minutes walking to the two nearests scooters and BOTH say unavailable at this time DESPITE being available on the app. BIG WASTE OF MY TIME!! If it isnt available for ANY reason the app should tell me that much.
Works great! Got to use it half a year in the scooter pilot with Doordash here Downtown Austin, wishing the riding zone was a bit bigger and closer to my home.
Much better than Bird, Lime, Spin or Bolt. Happy to see someone finally got this right. These are much more substantial than any of the other motorized kick scooters.
Doesnt work. You sign in and doesnt communicate with scooter. Sat there for 5 minutes trying to figure out how to take off and nothing happens. Waste of time. Rented an uber scooter and went about my way where I needed to go.
Loved using Ojo, while visiting Austin. It's the only sit down e-ped I've used with storage bucket. Enough power to get up small hills!
App crashes upon trying to create an account. Unusuable app/service and unsurprising for Android users.
Do not use these scooters they're a form of entrapment,, I unlocked a scooter and started riding and when u was done I placed it exactly in the same spot I unlocked it from and the scooter said if I park it here there will be a $20 fee ... But this is where it was !!!!! I'll never ride this again $23 for 5 minutes of riding... Smh
Im using LG Stylo 5 and when I go to take a picture of my ID, it never takes the picture. I tried for days and no results What a tease! I guess its not "done right" after all...
The Lime scooters are a better deal. Plain and simple. Was constantly told I couldn't ride the damn thing in the area I was in and the scooter kept slowing down. How am I supposed to ride it with no bike lane? Overpriced.
Fun ride, great app easy to use!
Great app easy to follow
OMG I love ojo. best little mopads in the world! convienient
Your scooter quit on me leaving me to walk through a rough neighborhood I pushed it to get it to a parking spot, and it wouldn't except it. Don't worry about any repeat business from me. I grade you poor. You should be put out of business.
None pf the scooters i tried ever worked and they still charged me for using a couple this app sucks and so do your scooter
App just spins. Never available
Crappy app. Don't even try to install
Heavy scooter $$$ but fun
I need to be refunded for rides I didn't take do non functional scooters
Took money stoped 5 seconds later charged me horrid service
They require tmuch personal info to ride a scooter.
Ts Didn't Even work & it's still took me money sad
mandatory arbitration? no thanks
They are always broken and the only way to find out is you have to pay the start-up first fee. " the throttle, Bluetooth and kickstand does not working the app will not lock ojo and I got hit with the $60 bill. not worth it... I sent emails and reports about The ojo and no response. I did not even a refund for the ones that are broken or about the $60 charge. I just a credit for 3 dollars...PLEASE CHECK THE STATUS OF THE SCOOTER FOR DISCONNECTED CABLES AND OTHER DAMAGES BEFORE YOU UNLOCKING IT.
