Sign up for a Money Account online (www.moneyaccount.co.za) or at any Old Mutual branch. Alternatively, you can contact the Old Mutual Money Account call centre (0860 445 445) for more information.
Register for a MyPortfolio account to view your entire Old Mutual portfolio at any time. Once you’re done, you can switch between both services on your Old Mutual mobile app.

Money Account
The Old Mutual Money Account is an account unlike any other. A banking account that gives you two accounts in one: a fully transactional day-to-day SWIPE Account and a SAVE Account which is backed by a Unit Trust:
• SWIPE lets you swipe, withdraw, and make payments just as you would with a regular banking account.
• SAVE is a unique savings feature that lets you save as much (or as little) as you want, in a one-of-a-kind Unit Trust account.

It works... in a fashion. It's down far too often for"maintenance" and to use some of it's more useful features can be annoying & frustrating because they are often "not available right now" and you'll have to "try again later". Also conveniences like Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Garmin Pay etc. are not yet supported. It's time that this bank figured out that we live in the 21st century now.

I used to think it's one of the best apps ever but I am changing my mind about that. I haven't been able to access my app for the past 2 days straight! It just shows me the Old Mutual screen continuously. I even deleted the app and re-installed it. Still nothing!! Until this is fixed, my 1 star rating will remain.

I have installed the app on my 7i nch tablet. I have a phone take around with me to make phone calls & send SMSs etc. I have tried to use it but can’t get it to work. The first thing the app asks for is my phone number, but no matter which number I give the app it won’t go any further with the installation. Please help get the app working on my tablet.

It was a great App until they ran some "improvements" yesterday which are not working in my favor. It's my graduation day and I need to access money, but the App us not working. After selecting that I already have a My Money Account the App just freezes. I've tried restarting my phone, but app still freezes. This is ruining my graduation day before it starts 💔.

It's a great App, but it's a bad one, it has been down for almost 2 or 3 weeks and when I go to the branch they said they can't assist I need to use the USSD strings, and they need you to have airtime, by that time I don't have airtime and money I need to withdraw from my savings account, it's a good app but for me I have a bad experience with it, that's why I won't motivate people to use it, I can't find my account number and the app is not accessible 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Forever needs to be updated. It's ideal depending on the network. I wish your rewards points system can be more easily accessible considering you display it on this app. Really pathetic your rewards system they are way more anal worse than what you guys are securing our finances. And this for points that you right fully earned.

Old Mutual bank it's a unique bank no stress for standing long queue and interesting issue is that while your swiping your saving and get rewards where you can spend on your needs I have a peace of mind using this bank even the app it's user friendly no hassles

I once lost my phone in a different province. as a result, I Couldn't get access to my money at all and ended up stranded. Even Old Mutual Cape Town claimed they can't help. That's a very high risk factor on its own. Phones get lost easily these days and the phone cannot be the only way to get access to our money. Use finger prints, IDs and every other document needed to prove and help your clients. This was really frustrating yet Besides that the experience on using the app is good, just this 1

I use to enjoy the app due to it being user friendly but lately I can't seem to get into the app because it keeps taking me to the set up page that we get when we first downloaded the app and stays stuck on that page when I select that I already have an account. I had to delete the app twice now and download it again just to be able to login and that's no good. Please fix the issue because it is very frustrating not being able to login to one's account when need be. Please fix the problem.

Beautiful App, user-friendly and simple. Only downside is when I have wanted to use it to do payments or simply check balances, coincidentally there is constant "maintenance" taking place. Another addition which would be helpful would be the accessibility of the App without data. My other banking apps can be used without data/Wi-Fi which is a lifesaver in desperate times. BUT I love this app, and Old Mutual as a whole.

I don't know why you have so many updates when this app continually gives an error message about 2 to 3 times it even works. And sometimes it doesn't even want to work. I give it 2 stars cause when it does work than its easy and simple. But for most it's frustrating cause when I really to need it it gives a message of an unexpected error has occurred. Not only frustrating but annoying... please do fix!!

The app is great. My issue is that it is not working on my new device, a Huawei y7 2019. The app worked perfectly before. This new updated version suddenly does not work. What's worse is that I got it from the huawei app store. When I register it suddenly says I'm not using the authentic device. I've been to the branch, called the customer care center. Please fix this issue.

I use to saFy money into save account because it is not easy to use it rather than in swipe even if the card is stolen there is no access so it is helpful.But now my app is not active it needs update I try to update but it is not active.I'm unable to check my balance or to transfere money to my relatives.

The app constantly requires updates which inconvenience us and demands that one has a positive data for it to work. So access is denied based on ones data presence or lackthereof. Further, the app fails to connect via other institution's Wi-Fi, why? The answer should not even be on (un)secured connections, if it is that, how do you determine a secured or unsecured connections? The app functionality and features are thus far serving my interests, no complaints there.
