So a few weeks ago I sent an email to your developer regarding fact that quite some time ago I purchased the adds free version of Old Time Radio. It seemed to work well for quite some time but now for some reason it will no longer play episodes one after another. Even though I picked the option it will only play one episode and then shuts off. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and made sure that I set the option to play episodes in sequence over and over but it still doesn't work
I hate to rate this so low because I have had the app for years. Lately though, it has stopped working altogether. It will just say connection failed. I know it isn't my internet because all other apps work fine. I've emailed the developer, deleted and reinstalled several, and even bought the paid version to see if it would help. Nothing doing! I've uninstalled for the last time, but I am so disappointed because this was a favorite app of mine for years! Please fix it!!
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, Android nine. Works perfectly. Excellent interface. Unfortunately this app has only half the shows provided by the "Golden Age of Radio" app but it has none of that app's extremely annonying dyfunctions in its poorly designed interface.
I have been listening to this radio shows for at least 3 years love the app it's a must for long trips my only complain is that I know many shows are cut short when I have researched and there are more episodes than the ones they show for example lux mercury theater only has the 1943 shows, they should add more. Still am still enjoying what they offer love this even better than movies.
Multiple years of using this and now it's starting to show its age. App stops working about 20 seconds into a show and i need to restart the show to get it to play. Happens about 75% of the time. I have the app set to not be battery optimized.
I've had this app since 2016 and have enjoyed it so much! The only problem is here lately, the episodes won't play continuously even though the settings are set to that. Please fix this, as I use this to sleep by. Other than that, this app is just perfect!
I love listening to old radio classics. I especially love listening to The Shadow. I have been using the Old Time Radio Player for Years now. I have never had any problems. I love listening to the old radio shows
I have enjoyed this program very much. All of a sudden it stopped playing in the middle of Gunsmoke. I tried several things to get it running but no luck. Uninstalled and reinstalled (.99) didn't do any good. Ideas?
Please tell me why this app starts an episode and then jumps to the next episode. I've restarted my phone, tried uninstalling and reinstalling, cleared my cache, but it still happens. This was my fave app, but these issues keep happening...
Amazing app if you love listening to these old radio shows. I would give it five stars, but I'm really tiring of the app crashing a minute into every episode.
I love the content but the audio quality is not very good. There is a constant static in the background that can be distracting, annoying and hard to hear over
Great app for a lot of the old time radio programs - but it'd be great if they'd add a cast function for listening on our smart speakers, etc.
No ads my fanny!!! I was listening to Sherlock Holmes, a 23-24 minute program and there was not 1, but 2 ads in there.
I love the ap but what i cant stand is that the episodes dont fully load. Skips from into to intro. Fix this bug its very annoying
Love this app but...here the last several months the app with certain shoes it will keep playing just fine. Then with other shows it will play one show and that's it.
Best of a bad lot. Needs the ability to sync across devices. 😕
l use to go to sleep on this app and it would play continuously. Now it skips to another category or just stops out of no where. What ever did please fix it.
One of my very favorite apps. I don't understand how they can have it ad-free and so easy to use and with so much content. I'm a major fan.
This is such a great and easy way to access thousands of old time radio shows. If you wanted to you could configure it to keep randomly selecting shows and never stop. You can download episodes to save yourself your data plan or just steam as you go along. One feature that I couldn't find that would be great is a sleep timer. I start a show when I go to bed and don't really want it to play all night.
