It's great for learning, structured like actual lessons, but I find that a "favourite" option would be very useful. It would be much easier to find and practice again certain lessons that I know I won't remember the first time, I would love to be able to make a list of lessons that I need for later reference. Other than that, it's great! much better than other apps.
Great app, works well and has a lot of options to learn new words. If you are motivated to learn a new language, you can definitely do it with help of OLS. A little tip for improving even more: add some more options to see your progress. Maybe with points, badges or by unlocking new features. Seeing your own progress always motivates me a lot to continue learning. When I compare it to an app like Duolingo, they are better at making me continue learning even though your content is more elaborate.
A nice app, but what really annoys me is that it is not possible to have a proper listening comprehension task. Instead of having to hear everything that was said before, it would be nice if the audio file just went on with the tasks. Also, the pronunciation tasks are okayish, but the app doesn't seem to understand anything I say anymore - it's not my microphone's fault let alone mine! Hence, only three stars. I feel annoyed having to use an app which is just so flawed that learning isn't fun!
The App has just been completely overhauled (as of 24.9.19) The Lessons have been redesigned and are now also available in the App! Works flawlessly for me. Thanks for the Update, it is really great!
I am using the app on my laptop since I started my cooperation with European corps, however I am un able to download it on my phone, I just tried yesterday and today several times in vain. The app continue proceeding with download (the circle is moving around in green) but it never complete downloading (the percentage for downloading never indicate any number even) .... waiting for download...for ever. I hope you find a solution for my problem, I am considering using the app on my phone. Thanks
Very good content from various topics for Portuguese and English! Please continue to publish new content. Moreover, additional speaking exercises or live tutoring above A1 Level for Portuguese would be very beneficial for a lot of students!
Unfortunately it's not working at all... The screen remains blank and there is no possibility to access the exercises, apparently it only works in the Web version
I can't create an account. I know that altissia group has others app for French, Dutch, German but I want this app for improving my Italian and polish languages. If someone can help me. Thanks in advance
Even though it's a great initiative, it, unfortunately, doesn't work. It would be better for everybody that the application is released only after is finalized and thus, complete.
I don't know why i can't login in the app in time i work in the site well with the same email and password maybe the new accounts Data not yet in the app that's in my opinion
Sorry I can't give a better review, but the app is only useful when I can use it for doing English exercises :/
It works when I watch videos but automatically turns itself off when I try to do an activity
Giving you five stars to support the idea. I hope it will include also actuall course materials in the future.
Great idea but please make courses on mobile

App not letting me log in. Samsung A5.
Whenever I've tried to use it
Not good at all
I find it a little mind boggling that most of the content this app has to offer is on the easier scale, while I expect most of its users to be quite adept at the language, not everybody can be chosen afterall. The misions are all a bit monotone, starting with a video, I feel like this is their strongest point by far, and generaly ending with a test, they also include: multiple exercises, vocabulary and a pronunciation. This isn't bad per se, but if all of them are like this, (all of the ones I did definitely were) it gets very repetetive. Sadly, I won't have the chance to try the tutoring, the internet connection at my dormitory is terrible to say the least, but I tried some of the C1 moocs and it felt like the native speakers were really holding back. The talking speed was really slow and it haven't felt any more special than an ordinary youtube video. That all being said it's still a lot of useful knowledge gathered in one place and the tutoring has a huge potential to be very good. While not outstanding it can be a useful resource nonetheless.
