IMPORTANT NOTE:
Because Olvidar connects to Pro Controllers over USB, you must have a way of connecting your controller's USB cord to your Android device.
For new phones with a USB-C port, you must have a USB-C to USB-A (full-size USB port) adapter- a cheap one can be found online for around $2.50. Furthermore, many devices, such as Samsung Galaxy devices, come with one in the box. These adapters are also useful for connecting Pro Controllers or GameCube Adapters to a Nintendo Switch while it is undocked.
For older devices with a Micro-USB port, a USB On-The-Go (OTG) adapter (Micro-USB to USB-A) is required. Again, a good one can be found online for around $2.50.

Olvidar is a simple app that swiftly unpairs Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers from Nintendo Switch consoles.

Olvidar communicates with a Pro Controller connected over USB to "unpair" it from the Nintendo Switch console it was connected to last. This means that the Pro Controller forgets its saved information about the console, and will no longer connect to it wirelessly when turned on. The process is dead simple, requiring about five seconds and two button presses in total.

Olvidar is primarily designed to make Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournaments run more smoothly. Leaving a Pro Controller connected to a console can wreak havoc on a Smash tournament, forcing the tournament organizers to hunt down the person who owns the controller and is preventing the setup from being used. Olvidar solves this long-standing problem for good. Competitors can unpair their controllers after their match by simply connecting them to their phones and running Olvidar. Furthermore, TOs can leave Android devices with Olvidar at stands located throughout the venue for an unpairing solution for the entire venue- especially those who have an iOS device, or don't yet have the app.

If you keep your Switch and Pro Controller in your bag, Olvidar might be for you.
