OmegaV Door Status
It's finally here: a lockscreen widget (for devices running android 4.3 or newer)
- now you don't even have to unlock your phone to see if we're open!
Here's the amazing new Omega V door notifier app
- now with homescreen widget and door notification! (Unfortunately for users with old/outdated phones, these features will only be available for Android 2.3 and newer
- many of the functions used require APIs not available in older versions, can't keep beating a dead horse forever...)
Do you study at NTNU Gløshaugen? Do you often hang out at Omega V?
If you do not, or (god forbid) do not even KNOW what Omega V is, then you should seriously take a trip down to the basement of the Old Electrical Engineering Building and check it out!(Or if you're too lazy, open a browser and go to http://www.omegav.no

If you on the other hand use to hang on Omega Workshop (or want to start hanging there after reading this), then this is the app for you!
What it basically does is give you a quick and easy way whenever you feel like it to check if The Yellow Door is open or not, so you won't have to go all the way down there, only to find yourself going up again disappointed because it wasn't open yet
- or even worse, if you actually had to open a browser and go to omegav.no to check!

- it has a small advertising banner at the bottom, and since I know for myself how annoying it can be, I have been kind enough to give you the option of hiding the ad! But even if you're only a small tick away from banning ads (yay!), I urge you to let it show if you can, since I (like you) am just a poor student who needs money for beer and caffeine ... :)So if you like the application and appreciate what I do, please be cool and let me have the ad money, so I can buy coffee and continue to develop cool apps for you to enjoy!
