Even after using this app for years and upgrading to the Pro version, nearly every video that isn't a .gif will error: "cannot play this video". Any video that does not have this error will break in the same way if I scroll back to it. Once it is errored it will stay like that no matter what refeshing techniques I use. This app is failing at 50% of the service it promised. Also no support for saving to an external SD card. Thank you for fixing everything!
Update intruduced issues, example no longer can save images to an alternative folder, dev forces all saves to DCIM unlike other apps like ReadChan who use pictures or download folders creating problems with camera backups apps (Synology photos, Google Photos). Additionally, it removed all previously saved bookmarks.
Real happy to see the app return. This has been my go-to for ages now. Would you consider adding proper 16:10 support for tall phones? Currently on a Sony Xperia III and the navbar at the bottom defaults to white which the AMOLED mode doesn't override.
It's dope. Directional controls to swipe away images along with the multiple forums supported make this the ideal image board browsing application. The ability to save images in separate folders aides in organization when posting as well. Very clever and well designed application.
Has the all the features you'd really need, looks nice, but locks up constantly. There's a huge delay backing up from images and threads. Seems like it needs to be optimized way better.
Been using the free version for years. The message from the developer after fixing broken boards and the dispute they apparently had made me actually want to spend money on the app. Great work, anon. Keep being amazing!
Omnichan Pro is THE BEST 4&8 chan browsing app out there! I absolutely LOVE the "download all images" (per thread, of course) option. The ability to de-select any images that I already have, or don't want (like silly, overly repetitive memes, etc) is a freaking life saver! WELL WORTH the price for the upgrade to "pro," IMHO. Any plans to include support for other chan boards..? 2,12, etc? Are ALL the "chan" boards even numbers? LoL Thanks either way!
App updated and deleted all boards (not the first time). It will not let me add a single board and adding all crashes the app. As it stands this app does nothing but use up space.
making a comeback after a long hiatus it's bigger badder and better than ever before. omnichan does what you need it to do without unnecessary clutter. accept no substitutes. i never go out of my way to write reviews but this application has catered to my every lurkan/postan needs for years. least I can do is rave about it.
Latest update causes crashes every 3 minutes
Trying to open threads or images in browser is broken, but works on non-pro version. Same with clicking on web links in a post.
app locks up whole phone until the phone restarts itself after some timeout when watching some 8ch threads. completely random time duration. no systemfreezes on 4ch though..
Needs: working filters, chronological bookmarks, image selection on OP when browsing shouldnt relocate to 'next thread' after swiping; this should go to next image in thread like mimi.
Good app but ever since updating, I cannot add a board without it crashing pls fix :( UPDATE clearing data/cache worked it's good again :)
Having issues removing my previous review. The app has issues after the last update but deleting all user data fixed it. That shouldn't have been necessary
Last updated removed all boards. Cannot add them back and the app is crashing constantly.
It's good for browsing a lot of the chans but hasn't been updated in a long time, 8chan is basically unusable due to the url not being updated
The other boards work fine but 8ch is broken, catalog shows threads from months ago. Hopefully this is fixed soon.
Gotta be one of the best image board apps out there. And the the dev has done amazing work all on their own.
The new update broke the app, deleted my saved boards and won't let me add any boards at all, please fix, how I can shitpost if I can't even use the app
Definitely my favorite image board app, I'm glad it's now updated to work with the latest captcha.
Glad this finally came back to Google play as I bought it years ago. Last update fixed some issues, but as of a few days ago, the app is real, real laggy. Response time to clicking on something is anywhere from 30 seconds to over a minute. Not sure whats going on, but even closing the app completely and restarting it doesn't solve this issue.
