I use the app to transfer blood pressure readings, and that part works. The history view used to be better. It really could be much more useful without much effort. Rating of 3 is mostly because after opening the app to transfer readings I have to go into settings to force stop the app or it will completely drain my battery within a few hours. Closing it isn't enough. No app should do that.

A few months ago, I wrote a one star review, after deleting your app. It seems that some updates happened to make the app useable. A big criticism is setting up user date of birth. Unless I have missed something, the only way to set the year is by scrolling the calender back mont by month. Not wanting to wear out my finger, I set the day and month last year. Perhaps your developers and testers were only 7 years old, so this wasn't an issue. Thanks for the feedback, Omron.

This used to be a great app. It was so easy to use. Just fire it up, take the reading and the reading was automatically transferred to the phone and within the app, it was then entered into Samsung Health. Forget that now!! As soon as the app is started up it tries to sync with the meter and keeps reporting failure until a reading is completed. However, it no longer transfers the reading to the Health app. What a backward step!!

The Bluetooth connection is a mess. It will sometimes work for several days in a row, then it's like playing the lottery after every single measurement. Sometimes it works after turning Bluetooth on and off, restarting the app and pressing the Bluetooth button on the measurement device, other times only rebooting the phone will sort it out.

Counter intuitive. Works though. When you are editing a note the only visible button is cancel. I have written many important notes only to hit cancel instead of back and then save. So, layout needs work Exporting data through email can take up to two or three days to get the result. Not very helpful when trying to share with cardiologists. Bright red warnings about hypertension stage 2 does not help anxiety when viewing your data. You cannot review insight data.

Update: New version, finally applied to my Samsung tablet after being on my phone for what seems like a year, has issues. 3 days out of 4, the sync fails saying I need to reestablish the link between my tablet and my BPM. And, very concerning, today I exported several months of data from the new app for the first time, only to find subtle corruption in the resulting spreadsheet. Dates were skipped (but data was present, offsetting the data and dates. Sometimes dates were duplicated. What a mess.

Useless piece of garbage with forced updates. Migration from previous version to the new one is beyond words frustrating. Customer service is utterly useless, quoting typical 'reinstall', 'but did it work earlier' etc. End of the day, you are on your own and what you can google. Unraliable piece of turd of an app. Utter rubbish coding (app stays silent in the background eating up memory and battery like a starving dragon). This is for health hardware, and this is the level of service? JUNK!!

Decent, but it is constantly trying to sync with the unit. Since I actually move around during the day without the device, that presents a problem. I'm 20 miles away at my office and my Omron app is trying to sync to the unit at home. Additionally, I can't remove the status indicator so I just have to get used to it showing up every day, all day unless I reboot. Also, they moved insights from an easily accessible place to a hidden place that is odd.

The inability to select the UK was fixed, but the app still fails testing existing devices. I finally got one of my two devices connected. The old app could handle two devices of the same type, the new one can't. UPDATE: Now my single device has stopped syncing. I have to forget it and re-add it almost every time I use it . Time to go back to using a spreadsheet to record my results I guess. Useless and pathetic. Never buying an Omron product again.

I preferred the previous data presentation. This was split off from the Kardia app awhile ago. Both apps are trying to force a software subscription model on the equipment buyers. It takes awhile to pull up historical data now. Why? Data in cloud, encrypted locally, or just a delay loop that's removed with a subscription? You may want to disable updates, since newer versions seem to be getting worse instead of better. There have been some improvements to device BT connectivity.

it had been working fine, but now the unit isn't connecting to the app as reliably as before. it's now requiring several attempts to connect, and even requiring it to be paired again, in order to transfer the date now. since the unit hasn't been changed, I suspect it's due to the latest software? Perhaps some change in the updated software or perhaps my phone's updated software?

Not a user friendly or intuitive app at all and after waiting 2 weeks for a reply from Omron "support" team I finally managed to understand it. I never did hear back from them. Having said that there are certain features I like better than the old version. Especially like colour coded descriptions in the history list. Still can't find any way of seeing if any AF has been detected though

It connects to my blood pressure monitor and tracks my readings. That's all I really wanted. If you try to enter your birth date in the personal info section it only allows you to use a calendar widget set to the current date. If you're old like me that means 792 taps to get to the right date. Ridiculous! I gave up. Too early to do reports for my doc. Hoping it's better for that.

Dav. G. Apr 13, 2022

Not initially excited about the revamped look, but it seems to sync easier now. Often took many tries before. One really frustrating thing about the update: when you go to History, it defaults no matter what you do to a graphical history which takes a long time to generate. Before the update, tapping List gave text results very quickly.

Pau. R. Apr 25, 2022

EDIT -- This app just blew-through most of my data for the month! 528MB in 4 weeks! And I did not use it all month. UNinstall! Previous comments: OK. There are "more features" with a Subscription Plan. Maybe that's why the free app is awkward and slow? Changing graph modes or orientation or scrolling the list takes many seconds-- I had 1982 PCs which were faster graphing; this isn't hard work, just fruity algorithm.

The app tells you it only needs location permission for Bluetooth pairing, but that is a lie because their privacy policy clearly states "we may collect information about the precise location of your device". Everything in the privacy policy is set up to allow collection of the precise location of your phone. Obviously, whoever is writing the messages for the apps hasn't checked with their attorneys or looked at their privacy policy.

New app for me this week. I'm only giving it 1 star to draw attention of developers that once I sync the app from my 5 series (BP7250) to my Samsung s9 phone, the "syncing with device" notification can't be removed unless I restart my phone. I know I can turn off notifications like this, but I don't want to because I want to know if this is running (and draining my battery). I also want to receive REMOVABLE notifications to confirm the app is syncing. This constant notification drives me nuts.

I like the ability to have my bp measurements synced directly to the app. App is easy to use and intuitive. Being able to sync this app to Fitbit would make it 5 stars. Many times the insights aren't that helpful. Being told my midday bp meas are up when I don't even take meas midday and to seek immediate medical help because my pressure is up a couple points for one day but still within range. The daily health tips are nice.

NO WAY to login to your app! I have a paid subscription. I don't need another. ... Very handy and easy to use. I've had an Omron Series 10 BP786N BP machine, for several years. One device easily connects wirelessly, the other is cranky and sometimes won't connect. The app has a lot of great features.

The main reason that I purchased this model was to be able to export a blood pressure report that I could share with my doctor. But, the function on the app does not work. Company says they have a known software bug. Very poor development team to release software with such a big problem. Who knows when it will be fixed. Very disappointed...

Dan. S. May 22, 2022

Integrates well with the Omron blood pressure monitor and is easy to use. The only complaint I have is that sometimes it will keep trying to sync in the background after the new reading is updated... even when the app has been closed.

Iva. D. May 3, 2022

It's a complete mess. The app is syncing with the device continuously, even there's no new readings and the only way to stop that is to hard stop the app. The + sign for starting the menue is misleading, all other apps use + for adding something. It is not clear how to conect this app with other fitness apps, there is only way to disconnect it. It looks like a beta version and premium is paid😄

Being able to sync the blood pressure device to an app that displays the history and generates a for is really fantastic. Sometimes it takes a couple of grid to get the device to sync to the app, but once the connection is made, it syncs nicely.

I'm not sure what happen to my first review, I had wrote when Google Play store popped up in the lower half on my Omron app to give rewiew, so I'm guessing, because it was a negative review, that the app is unreliable syncing your data after the recent update, even though the app have a manual feature to enter your data for blood pressure, but after following their troubleshooting steps just waste of time, that I have no need paying for an overly price subscription, that I will not be renewing.

As though a diagnosis of prediabetes with high blood pressure isn't bad enough, this app won't pair with any of my newish Android devices, increasing the time to try and log results, and increasing the chance for errors. The phones find the device, but the app can't find the phones.

New update is really bad.Not reading data from blood pressure monitor at all. Not working with samsung health app like previous one.Not set up to check what is wrong -help is only showing this, what I suppose, most users already know.Cant close app. Actually only frustration and worry to not lose all the data stored in monitor.Really shame. Edit 9.4.22.App is better now, have some settings, working well.Old chart and bars looked better, than new one.New is very slowly working, old one was fast.

Sha. B. Apr 22, 2022

Total rubbish, when I first tried the app I could not select the correct country, that was fixed quickly. However, the old app was so much better and now I cannot use it. Despite buying Omron equipment it would seem they just want to sell additional services via the app. Others may be willing but I am not, I will just use a spreadsheet to record the information. Well done Omron I will not purchase anymore equipment from you based on this app.

One touch use. Stores blood pressure and pulse readings, with several ways to view. Also allows you to review and send results from your phone/tablet. Checked it against manual reading at my doctor's office, and it appears to be quite accurate.

Even without installing the new app, it is easy to conclude that it is not an improvement and gives lots of troubles. Thanks for the reviews, I will NOT upgrade ! UPDATE 20220502 - Unfortunately the old app did not start anymore, and I was FORCED to upgrade ! But fortunately, all data were successfully migrated.

Love the device. Purchased this device based on the positive reviews. I was a bit frustrated with the initial setup..... couldn't sync the device with the app. After two calls to customer support the problem was solved. The problem was my phone's font size was too big, even though it was set at normal; as such, the entire screen wasn't displayed so I could never advance the screen before it time out. I love the ability to add notes and seeing the graph in a weekly or monthly display.
