I installed the app on my Galaxy S9+ and followed the on screen instructions to pair with my omron 7 series. I didn't care for the fact you have to create an account and further agree to emails. I was able to opt out shortly after on the web page. After verifying email, I logged in and transferred readings to the app on my phone, then took a fresh reading and transferred that. It worked seamlessly. I am satisfied. You can finger slide the month graph to change months and display other readings below.
How can a new version not display my data like the old one did? Who in their right mind signed off on this? Oh, and you cannot call it a bug fix version when you are changing to web based data storage with a partner company. All in all, THE worst software update I have ever encountered in my 30 years working in the IT industry. I'm now desperately trying to find a way to revert to the previous version. DO NOT UPGRADE!
I would have given 5 stars because I use this app everyday, but my old phone fried on me. I have been trying to log into the app with my same new phone and it is telling me that it can't connect to the server and to try again later for the past two days. I can't download my blood pressure, weight, and use my ekg tool. Please fix the problem and/or let me know what I can do?
When i tried to set up account it only gave me the option to install omron connect app. That app was only 30 day free trial. Deleted omron connect and cannot make a profile on omron wellness app. Password reset email is never sent either. So much for Bluetooth connectivity. Guess I'll have to write down my readings.
At first I thought the app did work properly because it said no new readings. Found that because I was using power adapter and did not have batteries installed when I unplugged the unit, clock does not run. Installed batteries and app works perfect.
just got my new blood pressure meter yesterday. Downloaded the app on my phone and took a reading and it synced without any problems. TODAY is a different story. Cant even log into my account. I called support and got NOWHERE!! The only reason I bought this particular model was because of the app and being able to show my readings to my doctor. Now I am considering returning it.
I was perfectly happy with the original App. The upgrade has been noting but problems. It will not transfer my readings even after I went through the support steps to address this issue. So I gave up and uninstalled the App.
This omron app. no longer works with bluetooth since they up dated it and upon contacting omron and asking why I can no longer get my data back so I might use the old version "Wellness" which worked fine for years I guess I should stop waiting for a reply to my e-mail as its only been 4 days, so much for the reply in 24 hours. Well I guess its just another company that does not give a S**T for the customer's.
Very disappointed. I've been using this app for the last two weeks. Opened the app tonight, and there's a notice that there's a new app, and to go to the Play Store to install. Can't quit, can't back out, can't use the app. Installed the new app. Now my history in the new app is missing the past week's worth of measurements. The web page has all measurements. Is the new app going to sync up? Omron, if you need to replace the old app, you need to do a better job. You locked me out of an app that worked. No explanation from you as to why.
CSV downloads create a file that is all but useless! The format requires that the date/time entries be modified and the time data to be extracted before standard spreadsheet graphing and data analysis can be done. STUPID AND AMATEURISH DESIGN! Does anybody ever test this stuff? I doubt it.
I used this app to record my BP ON MY CELL PHONE. The new app requires me to log into a third party to use it. The text on the program overwrites the BP readings making it impossible to read on my S7 edge. I have deleted this program as unusable.
Samsung S9+ is almost identical to my Note 8 and this app. does not pair. The ability to log your BP readings automatically via bluetooth was the main reason I chose my Omron BP786N. Good machine but very poor app support. I am sure company execs are aware but don't care or want the extra expense of getting a quality app. written for their products. I am going to call them but don't expect much help.
This new app is garbage. I have good readings and it says "stage 1 hypertension". I want to know how 108/80 is stage 1 hypertension? This new classification is horrible. Also my old readings from a month ago are gone after being forced to upgrade to this new app. Really poorly designed app! I want the old one back.
After installing, immediately told by the app that it's out of date and to install a different app. Neither app will connect to the device. Looking at their website, the software only works with older phones.
most people will probably buy the product and then find out what app is needed for it thereby obligating themselves to a pile of money before even knowing how bad this app is when they read the reviews I have not been able to get the app to connect to the server. but in the first place it should not have to do that it should connect to the device and it should store all the data on my phone and not need to connect to a server ever at al.
Sharing your data to an Apple product works okay. However sharing it to a PC it hashtags out the date and time, there by defeating the purpose of sharing the data. I did find a workaround by opening it in "Word" and going to the spreadsheet and in that particular "cell" click on the hashtags and the date appears. If you right-click you can pick how you want to view that "cell" and it will open up the date then you could save as a PDF or something that you could use. No CSV!
Once in a while I have had it fail to connect, or ask to re-pair, but rarely. I use a Series 10, BP786N. Readings are accurate and Dr verified. The app is simple, easy to set up and use, and is very convenient for the Dr when he checks the graph/trends/etc. My only question is that yesterday, I there was a pop-up saying there is a new version of the app available. I could not download the update at that time, and the pop-up has not reappeared and I do not find evidence of an update or new version in the Google Play Store. Is there something I need to do here regarding an updated version?
