I've been able to use the app twice. It's the property version of Bing - nowhere near as good as its competitors. That said, just as Zoople might have properties which can't be seen on RightMove and vice versa, both much better and actually functional apps, I thought I'd give this a go again. The app won't load. I've had a spinning circle for over ten minutes after clearing the cache and trying several times today. Uninstalling now. Good luck to other users. I hope it works for you.
Poor organisation and layout, doesn't have a "pets allowed" search option, and doesn't require more than a single picture for landlords to advertise their properties, meaning a lot of places only have an image of the exterior of the property, not the space you would be living in. Update: somehow I have applied for over 50 places that have been taken, but the ads have not been removed. This app is wasting my time not offering any help in actually finding myself a new home.
Not as good as Rightmove. Shows much less information and has glitches
Decent app, seems to have more properties than competitors. One very annoying feature - if you save a property and then it becomes unavailable (e.g. Sold or rented out), it disappears from your saved list. Would be much better if it just showed it as unavailable and you choose when to delete it
Even though I exclude shared accommodation in my search I still see plenty of them, student lets and multiple rooms to rent. Maybe allow us to report incorrectly listed advertisements, it's very frustrating.
Not as good as rightmove. Doesn't let you see nearby schools in a helpful way. Doesn't let you go straight to street view to see the positioning of the property. Also they have a lot less properties than zoopla or rightmove. It has most of the functionality just in a more rubbish way.
Search function is useless properties that I don't want to be shown are shown. Updated from response by on the market. Again property filters are not working properly. If I search for let's say 3 bedroom detached house the returned results are still showing semi-detached, terraced houses, bungalows as well. What's the point of having filters if they don't work. I can understand the odd promoted property as I'm sure there is money to be made but I don't want to waste any more time on my search
Pointless, just use rightmove. Rightmove has way more options and properties to browse. I thought this would give me more variety but it's basically a less diverse version of rightmove with less properties. I don't see the need for it, just waste of space.
Not bad. The only qualms I have about this app is that when you reopen the app again, you have to completely re-do your preferred filters including the area you want to live, the amount of bedrooms and price range. If you was able to click on previous searches then I'd probably give this app 5 stars.
Email alerts can be set up quite easily, searching is simple and I really love the map view with the thumbnails for each property. Its great you can forward on properties and it's very user friendly (unlike some other property search apps!)
What a bunch of useless teenagers that must have built this app. The reason for filters is to refine searches. So why, even when we click DETACHED do we get terraced, town houses and semi results?! Not the best stab at competing against RightMove is it? Deleted within 5 minutes of downloading. OFFTHEMARKET.
Easy to navigate and find a particular property in a fhosen area. The map is great to get an aerial view and ability to rotate map makes it good to look at all aspects of a property and areas around it.
This app used to be good, but over the last month or so, it has rapidly declined. Constantly stopping Everytime you click on a property and now, and this is quite upsetting, I have just lost all of my saved properties
The worst of all property apps. Doesn't automatically open onthemarket links in this app instead it loads a clunky web browser view with scrolling images that skip forward without prompt. I'd review more positively if onthemarket website links would open by default in this app. Simple fix seems beyond the developer.
Tried this app. Don't see the point. Isn't as easy to use as rightmove. TV add implies properties can appear upto 24hrs ahead of other property apps. Ive found the opposite to be true.
Photos on list of favourites are tiny. Not always working properly when you try and switch between properties. On the plus side, the map is a good idea
Awful app. Slow and search results don't match search criteria, in addition there's no way that I can see to save a search, nor is there any apparent way to clear an existing search.
When I search for a property within 2 miles of my search area it comes up with properties 8 miles away. Is it too much to hope for an honest estate agent? It's not acceptable to con people into looking at property that isn't suitable.
Not a friendly design, not a big range of estate agents, not an useful listing page, and also the properties appears after Rightmove or zoopla. There is no any reason to use this app instead zoopla and Rightmove, not even to use besides other two, because this one brings nothing valuable.
It doesn't store searches, fails to sync to my account, jumps back to the home page without storing what I have entered. despite the hype it doesn't report houses for sale any quicker than its competitors.
Would really prefer to just have my search options saveable and re-search properties matching that criteria with one tap, instead of being forced to sign up for alerts.
Useless. As people mentioned, the purpose of refine searches is have to not scroll through stuff you don't want. For example, you don't need to go through countless 7 bed apartments you're looking for a 2 bed 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
For me, did not show the full range of properties available within set parameters. Tried a few times. Deleted it and went back to their website.
I used to use this app an now you can't even see if your allowed pets an if you put the town or city you wish to look at it doesn't even come up this is not good an the places I'm looking for is in the uk, come on I'm getting better from Zoopla surely you can do better than this...
Completely ignored all the filters I set and the search area distances are hilarious. Glasgow within 40 miles of Inverness?? Lost patience with this app within ten minutes.
Should be able to keep your preferences when you return to the app, rather than having yo keep inputting the same info, to which the rightmove app allows you to.
I'm surprised by all the negative reviews. I think the layout is probably better than both Rightmove and Zoopla, and overall I'd prefer to use this. However, there's one big thing that stops me being able to use it - the total LACK of ability to zoom on pictures and floorplans. That's such basic functionality for any app, but it's totally critical for being able to see floorplans properly. If you can fix that, I'd easily increase my score. 3 is frankly generous for an app that's unusable, but fix this and it instantly becomes usable, so it should be an easy win...
