One Night Ultimate Werewolf
This app automates the night time narration based on the roles in your game, and provides a timer that can be used for the day phase of the game.
Version 3.0 contains the following new features:
Now supports One Night Ultimate Vampire (and "Bonus Pack 2") roles.
New background sounds: Spaghetti, Horror, Rock, Disco, Pop, Tense.
Verbose Doppelganger
- On by default. It may be turned on and off on the “Other” settings screen. This makes the Doppelganger much more accessible to new players by listing the roles that need to do their night action right away when the Doppelganger views them.
Pause button
- This button now appears at the bottom of the screen during both the nighttime narration and the game timer. Background noise continues to play while in “pause” mode, and a “resume” button takes the place of the “pause” button while the narration/timer is paused.
Expert mode
- stripping out all the instructions except wake up and close your eyes (and a few others as needed), this makes nighttime fly by.
All Roles Available and number of roles selected indicator
- All the roles in the game are now shown, whether those roles wake up at night or not. All non-waking roles are placed at the bottom of the list. Inside the Play button is a number: this is the number of selected roles (usually you’ll want to use 3 more than the number of players). Roles that have duplicates now have duplicate buttons: there are 2 werewolves, 2 masons, and 3 villagers.
Quick Game Timer access
- Press and hold the Game Timer button to quickly access the Game Timer settings screen. Doing this automatically turns on the Game Timer (if it had been off, or leaves it on if it was on).Main screen package selection
- All five packages are listed across the top of the screen, allowing you to show and hide roles on a per-package basis. When multiple packages are selected, the roles are sorted in order by nighttime waking order, with non-waking roles at the bottom of the list.
Scrolling list of roles
- when there are too many roles to fit on the screen, they scroll off of the bottom (or top when you scroll down). You can select or deselect partially-hidden roles.
Double Role Timer for Complex Roles
- Some role actions take longer than others, especially some of the new roles in Vampire. With the new 2X Complex Roles option activated in Role Timer Settings, the first Doppelganger, Cupid, Priest, Marksman, Squire, and Beholder get double the amount of time (based on the Role Timer length). Village Idiot always gets 5 extra seconds, regardless of the role timer (unless the Role timer is off, in which case he gets no time at all). This option is on by default.

Music has stopped working... I've force stopped, cleared cache, un-installed and re-installed and no change. No other audio issues on my device with any other app
There is a bug with the timer app, but apparently just for me. Otherwise its a great app! (Cant find a way to delete my last review... So I hope the new one makes up for that!)
This app and the game is great, but i encountered a glitch when playing the alien version. I put 6 chatacters in, because i was playing with 3 ppl, but for some reason the app said "the aliens may now look at a card from player 1, 4 or 7. I was like, what? Please fix this!
Would never play without this app! Love the music, dramatic voice, and the fact that no one has to sit out as the moderator.
It's SO close to being perfect. For normal people this app is everything you need, but if you're like me and a bit more tech savvy, you can't project this app onto your TV in landscape mode! The app is designed for whatever reason to not rotate with your phone but instead rotates the elements on screen. Please, if you can, add this to an update, it would make my gaming experience so much better.
Great app for the game, absolutely love it, my only concern is that the music "Southern Romp" at the same volume as the narrator overpowers the narrator's voice, so that you can't hear when the different roles wake up and go back to sleep. All the other music choices are fine volume wise. Also, could you make it so that the music choice keeps playing during the discussion time, just on a lower volume maybe? Otherwise, great job on the app, we've had many a fun night with this.
I got a new phone so I recently redownloaded the app. The app is a bit slow when tapping on anything. It's not too long for me it just takes 15-20 seconds or so but still it is an issue. I know how good this app is. I've always enjoyed the narration and atmosphere it creates. I've cleared my cache but it is still a bit slow. For reference, my phone is an LG Stylo 6.
It is a near ideal tool for the card game, but with one notably missing feature:for roles that require interaction with the app, clicking noises cannot be turned off and no such noise is simulated during these roles, thereby giving away whether that role is in play or not. If you hear a click, a player has chosen, if you don't, the app has. Aside from this, which only impacts certain roles in Alien and the bonus roles, it is perfect.
I like the game and app works great. As I play there are two features missing. One: doppelganger and PI should be asked to tap the new role on the screen, so after voting we could be informed which team they are on. Sometimes it is confusing when the cards changed owners. Two: it would be really nice to have recommendations for roles selection based on selected cards sets and number of players, just to simplify first games with new cards.
Update: the recent update has fixed the problem below so app works perfectly now. Thank you On my OnePlus 6 the buttons for start, settings and timer are half cut off the bottom of the screen and stuck behind the Android buttons (back, home recents). I can use the app if I make the Android button hideable but it is awkward to do so each time plus it still looks odd with half buttons.
Great app and grate game. But one strange thing is that the default setings for the randomizer for one night alien are really strange for example there is a 30% chance that an event appears that makes one of the players guess ia number and if he's wrong everyone needs to kill him. So I would suggest to change the settings of the randomizer if you're playing one night alien.
I love love this family friendly fun game. Great for parties
Got this to go with my game, and it makes the game flow really easily. Sometimes, it shows some yellow writing on the screen in the middle of the "night" and the dialogue stops. We haven't seen it fast enough to read it before it disappears, so we don't know what's going wrong. This doesn't happen often enough to take it down a star. Love this game!
Good idea that could be implemented in a better way. There are some combinations of cards that are not possible, like playing with only one Mason, for example. However the app allows such setups. That's really annoying since the app could be a perfect companion if it helped in the set up.
Excellent app! The only other thing to be said is that this app can be used for multiple One Night games not just werewolf, as it says in the description, but someone not reading and just looking for the name of the game they are playing it could easily be over looked. **Bezier you may want to rename the app to a more universal name so it's easier to identify.
It works. It's fairly easy to use and let's you customise the game. My big complaint is how much storage it takes up. Id gladly give up some bells and whistles to lower storage capacity. It's a board game app. I'm not going to be using it every day. As it is now, I install it the one time I play the game a year and quickly uninstall it.
App is great for just the One Night Werewolf game. My app has a major glitch and I'm unable to play any expansion packs because the option to show those roles by selecting an expansion pack at the top is missing. I contacted the support by email months ago and they never got back to me for a fix.
DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. This app is supposed to direct the game with your eyes closed but it Does not have sound on s10e. Are you freeking kidding me? Tried it on a pixel 3. Works once then stalls at the end and refuses to let you start another round. Redownload every time you want to play and adjust the settings again. 25 dollars. Wasted.
The experience of the game is a lot smoother with the app. Sometimes people forget their role's power, or the players go in the wrong order. The app helps with this and with timers you get to play more games, because people don't take forever on their turn. I highly recommend using the app while you play.
I love this app and it is very useful for playing without a moderator! Only two suggestions: 1) It would be great if the app worked while in landscape. 2) Adjusting the specifics of the Alien expansion would be very helpful (for example, set the Rascal to always use his action on any player, or Mortician always sees his own card) in the Randomization menu. This would help the expansion work better with the other versions. The player #s are a hassle when using 1 or 2 Alien expansion roles.
Dang! I really wanted this to work out, but the app is broken and freezes up every time you transition screens. I tried all the regular trouble shooting actions, but it's just too bugged to run. I'll try again later and see if an update takes care of stability. LG Stylo 6
The background music plays but Narration is not working. I have disabled/ reneabled the option and reinstalled the app still no change. Tried using the werewords to see if I would have the same problem but that app appears to be working as expected! Device info:- Nokia 9 pureview with Android 10
The female narration got removed :( \n Edit: Could you guys please leave the text on the screen without replacing it with "(Pause for N seconds)". \n Its specifically hard on the Alien expansion's characters (very much on rascal and psychic) when the instructions is complex so you have to read it.
Love this. Makes it easier to play with two small children coherently. The background music adds a nice touch and distraction for the roles. I wanted this game for years and when i got it and found it came with an app for the narration i was excited. Lots of fun for our game night.
I can't get the other character roles to appear. I only have 8 options when I should have over 15 and characters representing other versions of one night games. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app 2 times since yesterday. I usually really love this game, but I couldn't play it last night with a big group.
I really love the game! But I play with a german group, so i'd love to see more languages being added. I know there's another version for French an German, but it doesn't feature the Alien-Expansion and the Doppelgänger can't be combined with Vampires.
The app and the game are a lot of fun. I preferred when the background music did not play during the timed day phase. It would be great if there was the option to turn that off. Also I noticed the wake order is incorrect when playing with both the Sentinel and Doppelganger. The app wakes the Doppelganger first.
