OneMain - Personal Loans

Every time I try to log in it says there is a security issue and to contact customer support. I don't have time for this. Full site on my browser works just fine. Please fix this app and I will upgrade my rating.

*edit* not really an app issue. It's great. Very easy to use. I can do most everything I need on it without speaking to anyone so five 🌟 Spoke with my loan advisor this morning. Locally in AL. Her name is Ashley. And I just gotta say it's so refreshing to speak with an actual person who can understand s**t happens 😆 It's kinda like talking to a friend! So greatful for her, her hard work, and understanding. Thank you Ashley and One Main. Much appreciated 🙏 ☺ 🙌 ❤

Worse Loan company ever! If I can give 0, I would. I have been a customer for almost a year now. Never missed payment, I pre-qualified for an amount of $12,000 on a new loan. They told me my income has been verified and needed my social security card uploaded which I did. They needed my paystub, which I submitted. After days of going back and forth with me, they told me I been denied loan for no reason known to me. Waisted my time and have access to all my personal info. Becareful!

The only reason there is one star is because they gave me the loan when no one else would. However when I needed assistance on my payment a customer rep named Pedro took all my banking information all my personal information to redo the loan and get me a lower payment rate and then I got a bill for twice as much money and Pedro disappeared and nobody at OMF would help me!!!! So now I'm happy to say that I'm paying them off and they won't get any more stars from me. Don't get caught

Application does not allow to load PDF files or such! How am I supposed to load files if it is allowing to take only camera pics and only one shot. Reps from one main financial called me thousand times and I explained them a problem. I understand technology is everywhere , but before you launch application, do you even try to use it in real life? I cancelled my loan application; cause it is ridiculous; i tried to explain thousand times that I cannot upload files!

What can I say about this organization. This is an financial institute that really helps out those who do their personal loans and do it well. I went ahead and got another loan from them the paperwork was a little bit dragging but at the end it was extremely worth it as they rewarded me for my patients pretty awesome!!!💯👍💕

App is ok, but doesn't give all the features of the website. I rate it as 1 star because I would NEVER recommend this place for a loan! Not even to my worse enemy! 😠 They are the biggest rip offs there is! You can make a $200. payment & not even half goes to the balance!!! Made a $60. payment & only a few cents was credited to my account!!! If I didn't need a car as bad as I did at the time I wouldn't of took the loan! They take advantage of people with bad credit!

Love the company. Super easy to work with while rebuilding my credit. The app currently won't allow me to log in using my email or user id picked out during my application. I keep getting error messages that the information is incorrect and the team is working on it. I am willing to change the rating once the bug is fixed.

this app is very limited on what you can see and do. it allows you to change your payment method (or so it says) but when the time comes for the money to come out of your account it charges your old account still. the app shows the new payment method when you pull it up. ive called into the branch to figure it out and their computers show no new payment methods. im assuming the app and the computers that are actually used in branch are not properly synced up ir something.

One main was quickly and easily able to get a personal loan done for me when no one else would give me a loan due to my credit score. Yes the interest rates and apr are a little higher but the process was easy and there were no prepayment penalties. Fast and quick service. I would recommend if you're in a pinch and trying to consolidate debt.

Would have given no stars if i could. Very basic app as of 8/6/19. The previous app was very interactive. On 8/1 I was unable to access it. The same today. I uninstalled & reinstalled the app because I saw a recent review with similar issue, and now the app is completely different. it has very limited information, no longer able to complete online challenges, etc.... disappointing.

I have never had issues with the app. It makes it easy to make and schedule payments. One thing I want to see is the interest rate shown. It is not even mentioned in the statements which I find strange. The interest amount towards the loan is mentioned so why not list the percentage being charged? I dont want to call OMF to find this information when I need to know or refresh memory.

All my info in one spot except the pay off balance is no longer available in the app or online. It tells me I have to call. When life is hectic I'd rather have the information at my fingertips like it was before

Horrible experience. I made every payment on time then when I decided to get a new car these people took payments out after the dealership paid out my loan. These people will take you for everything you have or could have. Buyers beware.

App doesn't have all of the functions of the website. When I go to make a payment on this app it doesn't let me and come up with an error every time so I have to use the website.

The app is absolutely perfect!! Shows me everything I've paid, how much of my payment went to principal and how much has gone to interest. This company saved me from being in a crunch. Interest rates are sky high if you have bad credit. The upside to having an account is your credit score will benefit from it. Virginia Beach office is the best!!!!

Very disappointed Vantage score has not updated over a year. Causing my interests rates to be higher than my principle payments. I have a good credit score now of 700. I am on time every month with this bill and all others for years now, never late or missing. Very unfair to us. Seems many have these issues. App is basic. Do not like having to call if I desire to pay more in principle. I will not be seeking future personal loans through OneMain. But, glad I'm close to paying this debt off.

The app is basically broken, and it only gets worse every time they "update" it. Doesn't recognize your device no matter how many times you've logged in from it, forcing you to always use a verification code, which works maybe half the time. All of this occurs only if the app actually let's you log in, lately it's been crashing right after I put my credentials in. The app has been as annoying as their weekly calls trying to get me to buy more stuff, even after pleading with them to stop calling

They helped me out of a jam. I now have lower payments on my car loan. Plus it is not a car loan on my credit. They are easy to talk too. Thank you One main!

Since the app update a few months ago I have to verify my device with a 6 digit code EVERY time I log in. It states we do recognize this device. This is the same device I have had for nearly 2 years and none of my other apps have a problem with it, nor the old OMF app. Can this be fixed so that I do not have to recieve a texted code to log in each and every time I go to use the app??? Other than that there are still a few wrinkles to work out on this update, but this is most annoying.

Won't let me log in I have Uninstalled and reinstall to make sure had most current update. Still won't let login. I am able to login on website so I know I am putting in correct info.

Website and app show 2 different balances. Why can't you add debit card payment in the app!!!! Stupidest thing ever. Get with the times

Always able to manage payments and loans. FYI: Ring, ring is as close as a phone call to fix problems. "Communication."

This app not kept updated by One Main. The payment history section only shows the first payment despite the fact that I have made 11 payments on time for almost a year. Also, it doesn't update when you make a payment. It continues to show the payment due. It's like there's a disconnection between mobile apt and actual website updating.

Doesn't Work. Everytime I try to log in it's giving me an error message. I called the number provided, they had no idea what was going on either.

Biometrics still do not function. You said you had released a fix. Your last update was in November. I installed and rated the app in December. Just because, I just cleared cache and data and reinstalled the app. Biometrics is on, but still doesn't prompt. Just asks for password. Still broken as of 1/3/22.

Really strange that my credit score has been and is currently 700+ in all 3 credit bureaus and 690 - 700 + reported by 7 other credit accounts in their apps, and onemain's app has me 100 points lower and is the only instutution giving a low score, 100% exceptional payment history, including with onemain. Fix your score reoorting! Would not use any additional products or services from onemain.

I am new to OneMain, so I will review my account after a few payments are made and update my rating at that time. The customer service at OneMain is the best ever. I had no problems at all. Everything was done online. If I had a question, they were there to help. It has been the easiest experience I have ever had with a loan, ever. Thank you Seveda, Marquita and all the others at the North Jackson, Ms. branch. So far, the app has been great. Easy to navigate. Thank you, OneMain...
