OnePlus Weather

Worthless. Constantly shows -2 degrees and cloudy on the home screen and never changes. Even when you go into the app, and see the current weather, when you exit back to the home screen, it still shows -2 degrees and cloudy. I guess maybe one day come December or Januaryish, that will be accurate. To sum it up, it's a weather app that might be right one day out of the year.

The app is very good, the design is clean and it has good information in the app. I just dislike the widget for the app, it takes so much space on the screen but to display it only takes up half the space and the rest is empty. I want to put other apps next to it but I can't, it's annoying because the widget used to be smaller.

It used to work pretty good but at some point the weather warnings and advisories stopped performing correctly. To clarify previously you would get a notification that there was some kind of weather alert and then you could read what it was. Now the notification still shows but will not load beyond the screen listing. Unfortunately this is not enough information so I will be looking at other apps.

Temps are usually right on. The app settings are easy as well as the app itself. And i like the feature of choosing different cities and states. Ok, changed my mind. Settings: I can't find how to delete a city in my "cities list". And if the city has a question mark in a circle and you click on it, it goes to Google website. Which is more detail, if you can get online signal access or online access or wireless/Ethernet plug-in. Is it the app. or this type of phone? Tutorials, tutorials, tutorial

it's good app, but it could be more helpful if it would have ability to show temperature on status bar, like Accuweathr app...and change updates to smaller, more frequent increments (like every 15, 15, 30 minutes). oh, and it needs better, more colorful graphics like HD widgets app. 3/2022- Still no progress on my suggestions despite assurances they were being worked on 2 YEARS ago! How long does it take to make changes to a simple app?

The choice of colors makes this widget and the weather app nearly impossible to read, with a blue background with white font. There is no ongoing notification feature and it's really really really weak compared to just about every other weather app on the planet. There is really no reason that this app should exist if it's going to be such a limited product.

Updated. Why does an weather app need 600 MB of data storage? Dropped stars bc of it. Original: Not bad but could be better. I'll would be great if the temperature graph can be expand or compress into hourly, daily, weekly temperature changes.

Honestly, this is one of the cleanest weather app I have seen after dark sky. Weather channel and AccuWeather are good but not as good looking as this. My only issue is the the lack of option to change provider and not being able to see 15 days ahead from the app itself without getting redirected to the weather channel website. This will be a potential contender in the app store if some small issue gets fixed. Absolutely love it and for most part has been very accurate. Keep up the great work👍

Basic but good looking weather app. My only complaint is that I like to have my weather app update the current conditions every hour so that the widget displays the correct current temperature. The app doesn't seem to have a way of adjusting this, so I end up having a widget that is useless because it's showing me the temperature from several hours ago. Please add a way to change this in the settings and I'll change my rating to 5 stars.

I personally like the previous animation than current one. I still like the simplicity design. Unfortunately, the app won't updated to current temperature. Nor it sync to shelf which bothers me a lot. Try every possible ways like other mentions. Nothing works. Hope to see an update to resolve this issue soon.

The UI is okay, but recent updates have not been respecting dark mode. Also, since the switch from AccuWeather to TWC, weather alerts are no longer shown in the app itself but opens in a browser. Seriously, why? It was so convenient to have everything in one app, but now basic functions redirect to another app. This should absolutely not be the case. Put the alert text inside the application, not in a web browser.

I don't know where it get its data but it's always wrong. Maybe right temperature sometimes but forecast is always wrong. Not even close to what other apps shows. Please get data from reliable sources.

This app used to be good. Uninstall the current version and look for an APK of version 2.6.2.0 or close to that. Install that and ignore updates. It's from 2020 but it still works. It has the classic widget and the older (better) weather animations.

T the app won't stay on the city that I have it set on to show me the weather and temp. As far as I can tell you cannot delete the cities that you put in it you can only add a city. Now it's not wanting to stay updated and this is quite a while later I'm sorry I'm having to take you from three stars to two

Over all great design, but there are two major issues I would love to see addressed: - The default weather information provider is AccuWeather (not very accurate predictions), and there is no option to change to a different provider - There is not enough room for the text which describes the weather in the coming days. For example, if it will be "Sunny with Thunderstorms" tomorrow – that text string will begin scrolling, because of the lack of room

Mine is doing the same thing it doesn't change the temperature like it used to on my old phone I had to get a phone replacement because of difficulties but now the weather doesn't change mines is stuck on 46 when it's actually 69°, but all the other cities that I have on my phone I see their changes but not mine it's still not working very well

Looks good & has cute (but useless) animations I'd love to be able to disable. Although the basic functionality is present, the app isn't interactive at all in that you can't tap/long tap on anything to have more contextual info. This obviously includes when swipping up to show more data, yet no further interaction is possible. Rain and snow volume per hour would be extremely appreciated. Previously allowed to conveniently go to the AcuWeather website for further details, please add it back.
