This app would be good if it was reliable. The name/password is only *sometimes*accepted when opened from the Google Play Store, not when opened from the icon on my phone. I tried re-installing the app a few times, but get the same results - "Invalid user ID or password". I enter, re-enter, re-enter over and over..or change my password again... until for whatever reason it goes through. It takes 30 minutes to 2 hours to access your account.

Your features on the app are wider than the screen, specially if clicking on the balance I have to swipe sideways. It's all right but I love the multiple icons "transfer,zelle,deposit,transfer" Also your app had a strange notification after submitting the security code to identify me, it asked me "to enter another number if the one am,using is not a phone"

The year 2020, this app sucked. They were making so many changes to the app I didn't dare use it, because it couldn't make up it's mind whether my finger print wasn't any good (which I never used) or incorrect user name and the best one was incorrect password, I changed it so many times I was running out of combination. I had to start going on line to bypass the app, then I had no problems. Now that they fixed the problem, that almost everyone was having problems with. It turned out great

Very difficult to navigate. The options for the services are not easy to find and the login does not allow you to see the password you have entered so you are likely to get a notification that your login attempt is invalid if your password is off.... Since you can't check the password before you hit enter, it requires constant tries to log in. It's a clunky and not user-friendly application.

This app is so buggy on the login attempt and is driving me crazy! It looks like it is suffering from a severe case of amnesia, frequently forcing me to ask for an SMS code on login and when i do, it will do the same the very next time I load the app, and no. I have not set a 2 step login. It also keeps forgetting that I set the fingerprint login and gives error on the next try!!!

Totally useless. On line deposit function is unable to recognize the endorsement on the back of multiple checks. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Now when I try and log in using the EXACT same user id and password that works on the web site, it tells me one of them is incorrect.

A little difficult , but then simple to do a transfer and bill pay. Still have not been able to locate pending payments. Can do on normal computer, but need to do on phone.

It is user friendly and easy to use, but the platform keeps turning off my quick access and makes me log in with my password, which is super annoying since I've had to do it 6 or 7 times now.

Help topics describe actions that don't match up with the app. There is no "task menu". And app crashes EVERY time I tap settings. Here's what you can essentially do with the app: check your balance and receive notifications. Otherwise useless. Two thumbs down.

Update: I haven't had any problems since my last review. This app makes things convenient. 9/26/2020: I've had to unistall & reinstall this app a few times to login OR sign off properly. Used to not have any problems until the recent update.

I reduced my star rating due to the number of, technical issues with the app. I've had to uninstall it and reinstall it more than once for it to function halfway normally, this is not acceptable. Also it appears that One West blocks VPN connections, per Bit Defender. Here's my update, nothing has changed.

Update 8.31.20 - They fixed the crashing and I was able to set up a passcode. Old review - Crashes every time I try to access the settings. I'm using a pixel 4. Everything else works fine but it's annoying that I can't set up a passcode.

This app was recommended by my local OneWest branch. At first I couldn't find it at the app store; I think it was in the app shop getting repaired. It finally was available and it works pretty well, especially after a recent update. I do like using it for check deposits.

It has taken me 4 days to finally be able to access the mobil App.. I spent nearly 40 min with your customer service dept. Who kept blaming my phone or my Wi-Fi. I kept explaining that I was able to access my 2 other banks mobile App without a problem. I hung up extemely dissatisfied. It was not always like this. There is definitely something wrong on your end

It logs you out every two minutes and makes you verify your credentials each time. This involves typing in my password and getting a security code by text message. It's very inconvenient.

On every login I get a fingerprint related error message. Payments via Zelle work very poorly. It takes a long time to load contacts. The app rejects valid contacts without explanation. The app has not been tested well.

Tried to deposit a check on line for the first time and found it very difficult. Also tried to set up a fingerprint access and could not do that. So far, not happy with the app.

Horrible user interface. Attempting to log in or create an online banking account is way screwy; you have to call them to proceed; short business hour window. 2-Step verification shows someone else's phone number for my user ID (verified user ID). Can't rely on this APP. 2021 Not Mobile User Friendly 1.5 years later in this mobile world we live in. It's December 2021.

Always cumbersome to deposit check. Need customer support when they are working. Use this feature from other Banks which only takes a minute or so to deposit to other banks. Using One West takes at least 30 minutes of my time restarting it, typing it, getting customer support, etc. Options dont automatically appear.

App was written by a 5 year old. Does not work. This is the most user-unfriendly system you will ever use. 8/4/2021 It's no better. It took one hour to deposit one check. Had to sign in more than one dozen times. Terrible process.

LOL They sent TWO emails to me about Zelle - first one apparently had a bad link. There is a help screen on the app, but it doesn't say how to run Zelle. I've looked everywhere on the app - it just ain't there!

The fingerprint option never works. In the last three years I have been asked to change my password for no reason. The bank is great but the app is not that great.

This app is hard to use. Had to take several photos of the check to make it accept my deposit. The photos all looked fine to me. Finally got them accepted. I didn't see any advertising.

For a very long time, I was unable to use my fingerprint to access it. Now that works. In addition, it takes me multiple times to deposit mobile checks.

Horrible app. Their security is a joke. They think it's good to have this extra verification but it's unnecessary and annoying.

It's a simple to us app. But every month or two it makes you change your password, and I ran out of ideas. Fingerprint sign in isn't working anymore

Great App simple no problems. Basic Acct info only. The staff at the Redondo Beach Branch is awesome. Always nice and accommodating. Love the free coffee never any waiting over 2 minutes usually none at all. Awesome Bank.

Very complicated and cumbersome to use... Compared to other bank apps... Going into the branch is a delight... Efficient, professional... Friendly, very nice... The app not so much.
